Without hesitation, I give PCD a five star review. The owner, Guy, provides quality product at a fair price. He provided an estimated timeline and was able to meet or beat that timeline on each project that we had with him. He was honest during the process and provided practical ideas to make the project even better than I originally planned. He politely educated me when my ideas would probably not be worth the price tag, while I imagine that other contractors would gladly let me pay the extra money. He sincerely cared about the work he was doing and his team was always polite and respectful. The first project was a new shingle roof for my mother's house. He finished this project in 3 days so that the roof could be completed before the forecasted rain. The next projects were done in phases so that we could continue living in the house while the renovations took place. The complete project included a complete kitchen remodel, custom vanity in the bathroom, fireplace overhaul, new flooring and paint throughout the house, removal of an interior wall, new recessed lighting throughout, new cabinets in the hallway and laundry room, addition of a front patio, extension of a back patio with a pergola, raised garden beds and new sod. I would gladly use PCD for any future projects and he has demonstrated a wide range of capabilities. read more

This review is for my experience with Guy for the free estimate visit. I ended up going with another builder for my project for several reasons, but Guy took the time to listen to how much my budget is and what I'm looking for with the remodeling project. When I called him and letting him know that I decided to work with other company, he was pleasant and understanding. Definitely I will call again for future project, maybe then it will be something we can work together. read more

We are very happy with the quality of work, interaction, timeline and with the entire PCD team. Guy and his team were able to complete 2 bathrooms and a kitchen in the most reasonable time. Guy is very knowledgeable, helps us during selecting the fixtures, always responsive and reachable on phone, is blessed with a great team of professionals, does first time right designs, very flexible for last minute changes and modifications, thinks from customer perspective, great sense of humor. Guy respects customers and their needs since remodeling is such a time consuming, always learning, multiple selection options, expensive and once in a lifetime event for customers like me. Guy went beyond customer satisfaction when he accepted my request to replace the vessel sink to under mount sink even after mounting the vessel sink and i used it for couple of days. Only after few weeks did we realize that vessel sinks are not a suitable option for kids bathroom. One thing for customers who are reading this message is to always ask for a electrical outlet near the potty seat for future use. Lessons Learnt: 1. Always ask the lead time to procure the fixture before selecting the fixture. I had to change my selection twice. 2. Vessel sink is not for household use. Looks good but very challenging to control the spills. 3. Listen to Guy, the professional 4. Always need a professional contractor like Guy for once in a lifetime changes like remodeling. read more

PCD Remodeling is top-notch! We were super impressed with the professionalism, quality, and efficiency with which Guy and his team remodeled our master bath. Guy was very organized, pleasant, and easy to work with. He communicated with us regularly and kept us apprised of the different people who would be coming each day. The price was very competitive and the outcome- we LOVE our new bath. The tile work is especially beautiful. We are already planning on having Guy work on a similar project in the near future. read more

Guy has great attention to details - and he and his team worked hard to get our project done on time. I highly recommend him if you are looking for a home renovation project. We were looking for a company that could do both design and build - we knew what we wanted. Guy helped us to bring our vision to life and would make suggestions to help refine our desires. We relied on his professionalism and expertise. He kept us informed and updated us every step of the way. You really get what you pay for - and much more. I would not hesitate to refer him and will post pictures when available. Hire PCD - you won't regret it! read more

Guy and his teams of specialists were efficient and do a great job. I especially appreciate the planning and help in decision making that Guy took the time to do with me. He went shopping with me for flooring and brought samples from high quality vendors. I love the carpeting we selected. He always listened to all my concerns and considered them when advising me on next steps. He also was willing to give me his opinion when I asked. I really appreciate the open dialogue throughout the entire process. They like to get things done the right way. We love our completed project which included waterproofing one wall that had a leak. And we are happy to report through the recent rains we are 100% dry (inside). The siding work looks amazing. They matched colors perfectly and did a great job with the painting. read more

I recently had water damage in my home and it was soooo stressful! But Guy and his crew totally saved the day and came in and did the most exceptional job on my bathroom! He helped me with the design (because I had NO idea), helped me pick out the tiles and flooring and also worked with the plumber to answer all the questions and make all the changes that were needed. From start to finish he was classy, the job was done in the time frame he said and most importantly, there were no hidden costs at the end or extras that some of the other contractors I've worked with have had. I now have the most lovely bathroom with a gorgeous shower and tiled walls in the beautiful greys that I love. Call Guy! He respects your time, is very fair with his pricing, is an incredibly creative designer and gives 200% effort! read more

I hired PCD Remodeling to fix a rotting deck, turn a dinning room into a bonus room, and remodel the guest bathroom. His team did a good job on all three projects. His prices are a little bit above market, but you're paying for excellent customer service. He doesn't take a lot of jobs, but the ones he takes, he ensures good customer service. He's also a pretty nice person, as other reviewers have mentioned and his crew is trustworthy. read more

These guys went above and beyond for me when other companies weren't even interested in my business because they were "too busy" or the job was "too small." It's refreshing to work with honest people that put the customer first. They re-tiled my outdoor BBQ island and even went out of their way to pickup more color matched grout at no charge. The workmanship was incredible, and they were a pleasure to do business with. I highly recommend! read more

What a Great Company to work with. I had to go through so many different company's and finally came across PCD remodeling. Guy is such a pleasure to deal with. He is very knowledgeable and kind. He takes the time to understand what you are trying to accomplish and is upfront on what to expect. His pricing is a little on the higher site but if you want a great turnout it's worth to spend a little more. Nothing is more important then a piece of mind after you go through the remodel portion as well as the $$$$ You spend. Thank you for making my remodel a smooth one. read more

I got to know Guy, what a great person. I will definitely use him for my next project. He is responsible and caring. I highly recommend him. I love my kitchen. read more

Guy did a FANTASTIC job remodeling our wjne room. He was the fastest to respond when requesting for quotes, started pretty much immediately, was dependable and on-time, and produced quality work. We are extremely happy with the final product. Best part of all, no change orders - the fee quoted initially was what the project cost in the end. I would highly recommend working with him. read more

As a woman that's moved to a new house six months ago, The only thing that I cared about was to redo my kitchen and nothing else mattered. I can tell you by far PCD remodeling is the best company in town. They came up with 3 differed layout for my new kitchen, all of them were great and it wasn't easy to choose, but PCD remodeling designer helped me make my dream come true. Do not hesitate to ask for an appointment with there designer, it was very helpful and definitely worth it. Let them make it happen for you!!! read more

We had PCD Remodeling (the owner is "Guy") remodel our kitchen, master bathroom, guest bathroom, and half bathroom. He was great to work with. Always quick to respond to text messages. He went with us to pick out fixtures, lighting, countertops, backsplash, shower doors, tile, and cabinet selection, which made the process very smooth and quick. His crew even installed our new appliances and hauled away old ones at no additional cost. His expertise in selecting the right colors and styles was invaluable. As with any remodel, there are bound to be issues that need correcting and the few issues we had were quickly fixed to our full satisfaction. We are very detail oriented and Guy worked with us until everything was perfect. He is a pleasure to work with and his crew completed all work on time with quality results. We highly recommend him for kitchen and bath remodels. No job is too big for PCD Remodeling. read more

Can't say enough nice things about this company. They handled a pretty big project (permits etc) and they were both reasonable and collaborative. Guy is very down to earth and knows where to spend money and more importantly where not to waste money. They keep the worksite clean and keep on schedule. All the workers were polite and not intrusive. All permit inspections went smoothly and there were no surprises. They did an amazing job and I would use them again. Highly recommend you include them in your short list of contractors. read more

Guy is a exceptional designer and contractor. We have used him and his company in the past with amazing results. We needed an emergency service this week and guy and his crew(Jose) were there the very next Monday and fixed our "emergency". We have decided that it would be foolish to use any one in the future besides PCD! Guy is our Guy!!! read more

It has been a pleasure working with Guy on my kitchen remodel. He is very professional and honest. He Refered me to Pacific Sales in Miramar for my appliances and they were fantastic as well. Jordan, Yacob and Kris were just Phenomenal. I highly recommend PCD Remodeling! read more

We are very pleased with work that Guy Azolay and his team at PCD Remodeling did for us on our upstairs remodel, including the master bathroom. The project included an expansion and full renovation of our master bathroom & closet, remodel of our upstairs fireplace, and flooring and paint throughout the other rooms. Guy and his architect assisted us on the design, providing us the best layout for the unusually shaped room. As we moved into the construction phase in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic, he and his crew were flexible to our situation at home, accommodating restrictions on schedules due to work from home meetings, etc. They were professional, kept the site clean, and wore masks the entire time. Guy continuously kept us informed on progress and schedule, and wasn't afraid to jump in and help himself if the situation required it. Once the project was completed, we were very impressed with the quality of the finish work. We hope to work with him again on future projects and highly recommend him for any residential project. Thank you Guy and team! We love it! read more

Guy and his team are the best. I highly recommend him to do any remodel. He'll win my business over and over due to his professional nature, quality work and most important to me...ON SCHEDULE completion. We asked Guy to do a full downstairs bathroom remodel of our including new flooring, new custom vanity, new shower (including moving plumbing to re-locate fixtures to different walls, new tile and custom shower door) new paint and added an additional constraint of accomplishing the whole job from demolition to completion in 2 weeks. All this during COVID times and Guy came through. Our new bathroom is gorgeous and we love the quality materials and workmanship. read more

We have used Guy Azolay and his team several times for our bath remodel, kitchen remodel and outside stucco work. He completely guarantees all of his work and he will make sure you are 100% pleased with the results. I highly recommend Guy and we will definitely use him for all of our remodeling needs! read more

We found contractor Guy on Yelp. We were very impressed with his 5 star ratings and thought we'd give him a call. It was the best thing we could have done. After 3 bids for an office / closet remodel he was the obvious choice. He was professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and was able to fit the remodel work in to our short schedule. We had some electrical issues. He had to move a ceiling fan, the switch, and our Internet. He had no problem with these details. We had existing wood trim in the closet. He was able to match the word and the color exactly. We are more than pleased to give Guy a 5 star rating. read more

Great job by Gil and his team at PCD. They did a bathroom remodel for me. I wanted to use a special pattern with floor tile I had. Guy designed it for me and Josh laid the tile. I just love the result. Very professional and friendly! I was impressed with the way they worked any issues. They obviously know what they are doing. Excellent job! read more

I was impressed that I was able to call someone and they personally answered the phone as well as were willing to come by and give us a quote during the holidays! No heavy sales presentation or pressure. He answered our questions and gave us a quote very quickly, and did not waste our time. Even though the renovation is much higher than what we could afford I really appreciated his honesty and directness! I recommend Guy, with PCD if you are needing any renovations to your home! read more

What a treat to find Guy and PCD. I had a drain line in my rental condo which failed, and required demolishing a bathroom to fix Jose did EXCELLENT work and both Guy and Jose stayed in such good contact and made the entire process as easy and smooth as possible for me. I believe they generally do much bigger jobs then mine, but I was treated as if I were their most important job and priority at all times. I've never experienced this kind of attention to detail and communication from any type of contractor before: multiple calls and pictures each day with updates (I was not on site) and work was always done when and how it had been presented. I have tenants in the unit and they were extraordinarily impressed with how neat and tidy the whole process was. Three years ago, my husband and I did a year long (very expensive) remodel at the house in which we live, and the professional, timeliness, cleanliness and attentiveness of this job was 1000% better than my experience with the major remodel. Guy and Jose went above and beyond my expectations, and I highly recommend them ! read more

Guy, the owner of PCD, completed our powder room remodel and installed drawers in an innovative manner in our wine closet to maximize space. Just moved recently to a new place in la jolla . The condo was in good condition except the kitchen & bathrooms. I was recommended by a friend that recently used their services to remodel both of their bathrooms. I am impressed with how they kept me updated with the progress. And how I was able to be apart of the planning every step of the way. They came up with 3 layouts for my new kitchen, all of them were amazing. The designer walked me through the whole process and I could not have felt more comfortable and confident! I felt they were very personable and had the professional experience I was looking for. Highly recommended... my condo looks perfect!!!!!!!! read more

We hired PCD for remodeling our bathrooms. We are very happy with the approach and the methodology of the designer. The main aspect I found in them is that they understood our taste quickly and suggested very good ideas; and was honest to convince us of our bad ideas. The designer used emails, messages to share photographs of products and catalogs to make it easy for me as I am a traveling person. Personally managed the project. And also got the job done in very good time despite our restrictions on them. Would definitely recommend to anyone. The key aspect I noticed was that they care for the work they do. read more

Guy did a great Job giving us his expert opinion on our remodel very honest straightforward and polite highly recommend

I just got off the phone with Guy and what a nice person. He went above and beyond to give me recommendations and suggestions for my garage cabinetry. He took the time to explain what would work and the best option for me. He also called me back and offered additional phone numbers and addresses to other businesses. I'm definitely going to use PCD for my bathroom remodel, this is just above and beyond service he provided. I highly recommend Guy for any interior design projects you may need. read more

My husband and I needed our kitchen cabinets to be refaced. After meeting with Guy we decided to go with him and are very glad we did! We were originally going to go with white plastic veneer, but Guy suggested we might like to consider wood. We did, and absolutely love the wood doors and drawers, the color, and how much richer our kitchen looks because of it! Just stunning! In the process we did have a few problems, but Rafael fixed them and the kitchen looks amazing. He also surprised us with a large drawer that slides underneath where our kitchen stove top is, which we were not expecting. That may be one of our favorite additions in our new kitchen! We will definitely be using them for our next project sometime this spring. Rafael was in charge of the job and his workmanship is close to perfection. He is one of the reasons my kitchen looks so fantastic! I am sure the next couple of phases we have left to do will turn out just as well as our kitchen has, because these men have integrity and pride in their work. Not so easy to find these days. read more

Guy was helpful in a referral to a great plumber. This was great as it's a more cost effective way for the smaller job I needed.
