My husband got his PC fixed here but there was an issue. Joe promised by a certain day and then when that day came. He didn't pick up his phone at all during that time. My husband was frantic because the PC was built and worth $2k. He finally got ahold of him and said they had an outage and phones were down. My husband got his Pc fixed and all was well $375 worth. This is why the review is 1 start. My brother decided to take his PC to him because all the reviews were great. He promised my brother that he would get his computer on Monday, the latest Tuesday. This Tuesday (7/12/2022) comes around and the guys said an excuse. He has the stomach bug. It's okay and understandable. My brother gets in contact then the guys says he is in Dallas and that his stuff would be done today, Friday (7/15/2022). Only needed 5 hours of back up the day before Andy brother could pick up his PC. Brother paid $380 and when my brother said he was going to pick it up he cancelled and said there is an outage in the area and that his kiddos don't have AC and other things. I'll attach the messages between my brother and Joe down below. My brother loves his PC. It's worth so much more than ours. This is his downtime and enjoyment. The guy hasn't responded back to my brother about when he would be able to get it. I'm discouraged and still am for my brother. I'm disappointed because this not only happened to my husband but now my husband. Please go elsewhere if you want it in a timely manner because when you invest so much $$$ into something and allow other to handle it you would want transparency. Update it is now Saturday (7/16/2022) 4pm and the guys still hasn't responded back to my brother once so ever. My brother went to the place but guy still never responded. Called the police. DO YOUR RESEARCH, read all the reviews and under zero circumstances do not use them for any services. Grab some popcorn Joseph.. Furthermore, do not hand them any money, cash, or funds until the job is completed. I requested a diagnostic service report, Joseph Mendez (the owner) attempted to have me pay before the job was completed. I ended up paying more than half the diagnostic fee up front. He never completed the diagnostic work. I went to his place after he ignored my text&calls and he used his Gf/Wife as a proxy to defend him on his behalf. (She is very mouthy and dramatic heads up) threating to call the police on me as she states he not home, from 730pm-1130pm he never showed his face as I waited outside attempting to speak with him, he just hid under his Gf/Wifes skirt no exaggeration on that. He even had multiple friends show up trying to intimidate me on motorcycles and tell me to leave. His so-called brother personally got in my face and tried to intimidate and disrespect me dropping N bombs as I shut his barking down quickly, he probably realized I'm not that person to try as he quickly turned tail and walked away. Following when they realized I wasn't going anywhere, his phone magically works and I receive texts from him gaslighting me with excuse after excuse and demanding I leave sobbing he's going to call the police. When I asked when will he be home his reply was "that its none of my concern" There was at a minimum of 10 different adults that live in that house he deliberately coward behind who all got to make my acquaintance, explaining he wasn't there, pretending to be friendly with me faking empathy saying they understand this is not right what happen to me. I honestly was flabbergasted at how a grown 37yr old man could cower behind a woman and his roommates. Also my PC was messed up, CPU cover wasn't screwed down, My SSD drives were in the wrong slots, One ram stick was not put all the way back in, and more discrepancies. What's crazy is the entire time I was there he could have completed my diagnostic report in a timely manner. please listen to the other reviews and avoid wasting your money on this guy. all the reviews are truthful and they all have similarities. if you read through all of them, you see the following: -the pc is worse after taking them to this guy. -he avoids contact if there's confrontation about what he's doing wrong. -he keeps the devices over extended periods of time and continuously makes excuses for it. he completely destroyed my s/o device and it caused him to literally lose EVERYTHING. this guy is shady and just wants money. if you put 2 and 2 together, he's obviously taking parts from your device and selling them elsewhere (and that's literally what he did to my s/o, because he found a part in his device that was a completely different part before. the part he took was a solid state drive.) get this man out of business... do not doubt these reviews. save yourself. both him and his wife are scum. read more

Beware. Joe took my high end computer, called and told me to cash app him $900 for a new mother board or he could just hook me up with another computer I could buy from him. I said I would bring cash to fix it. On the way over my husband and I decided against it. I called and told him I was coming to pick it up. He told me he was eating with family and couldn't get me the computer. I was on my way and said I would be there in 5 min, if he could meet me to pick up $900, he can hand me my computer. He then said he had to run 3 diagnostic tests so the $75 was multipled to $225. I gave him $100 and took my computer. I got it fixed for $500 with a new motherboard. I rarely write reviews so, heed the warning. There are others that had issues getting their high end computers back also. read more

I support small businesses but......this one was a bad experience. I Dropped off a brand-new build in early August for my sons birthday gift in September. I just got the PC back 3 months later with minimal progress. Jo even tried to blame me for a bad capacitor. I could of took it somewhere else but they never answered their phone and hardly respond to messages. I could of took it to a professional. Jo is very unresponsive. He me to go request a refund on CashApp. That's not how it works. They only way I could get the PC shell back was by stating I would report him for theft and fraud. Then he said he would leave it outside of his apartment door! Do Not Pay Upfront like me or you will end up going through litigations to get your money back. Do your homework on this business and check for recent reviews. Customers have had similar problems. I think a lot of the google review are fake. No Communication, said he started working on my PC and after a week I got it back and nothing was done. He lied and has 0 communication, and wish I saw the reviews on here before I sent my pc to him. In the text below you can see I texted him Monday and asked for my PC back because of the reviews I saw about this business. He texted back he started working on the pc so I can't get it(which was a lie). Then on Wednesday I texted and called 4-5 times that I need my PC and only response I got for 2-3 days of asking for my PC was "gotcha" Thursday comes around I get to his house at 1145 and text him I'm outside (no answer) the. I call after waiting 15min (no answer) I knock on his door and call and text multiple times and no answer. Friday comes around and he tells me he is having phone problems and I can get the PC later. I goto his house and his wife gets me my pc, i take my PC home open it up and nothing at all has changed inside the case and I do some searching on YouTube and the only thing that had to be done was I didn't plug the case power system into the right port. The owner's name is Joseph Mendes. I brought my computer to him on 12 Nov 2022 to get a new install of windows 10. His girlfriend (Alyson Montgomery) picked up my computer outside of the Rio Vista apartment complex. I am unsure if she is an employee. Joseph was initially very responsive to texts. We agreed to install a new hard drive with a copy of windows 10. He charged me $484.08 in total for the repairs. I paid an additional fee to have the job expedited before my vacation on 17 Nov 2022. Joseph did not finish the job in time. He then stopped returning text messages and would not answer the phone. The last text I received from him was on 22 Nov 2022. I returned to San Antonio on 28 Nov 2022. I decided to go to the Schertz police department to do a civil standby and retrieve my computer. They informed me that Joseph had been arrested for domestic violence on 22 Nov 2022, thus he was not intentionally withholding my property. On 2 Dec 2022, I waited outside his apartment for 3 hours in an attempt to have Alyson Montgomery give me my computer back. Another gentleman also waited to get his computer back. She finally gave me the computer back, however, the laptop was not properly put back together and my leather case had gone missing. I took the computer to BestBuy to be repaired where I was informed that a "Counterfeit Battery" had been installed and my original battery was missing. The computer no longer shows its battery percentage and only lasts a few minutes when not being charged, so I have purchased a new battery for BestBuy to install. The computer did have the new hard drive installed, but windows software was not installed on the computer. I am seeking compensation for the stolen leather case, stolen laptop battery, and fees charged excluding the newly installed hard drive. In addition, I am seeking compensation for the prices paid at BestBuy for a new battery as the one he installed is not functional for this device. read more

I definitely would not recommend JOE I dropped off my sisters IPhone 10 XR on Sunday afternoon, and prior to that I couldn't find his location so I called him and he didn't answer none of the texts or phone call, after just showing up thinking it was a building, come to find out it's at his apartment which was really sketchy and looked run down I asked a lady that was walking her dog if she knew where joe lived and she pointed at his apartment his wife answered the door she was nice but not once did I see Joe. My sister dropped her phone and it started to glitch and turned off but wouldn't turn back on. I didn't get a call not once about the phone or what was goin on with it until Tuesday( I had to call him) and he told me that the phone was unfixable. JOE has bad customer service and don't follow up with you on your device what so ever. I picked up the phone and took it to "Fix My Phone Plus" And the dude there fixed my sisters phone and I picked it up the same day!! On here it says you get a free diagnosis but JOE charged me $75 and didn't even do the job. DONT BRING YOUR DEVICE HERE!!!! read more
