I took my pc in because it was in almost frozen state (it would take nearly 30 minutes for just one page to load). He works out of his home garage, but it looked set up for his business (benches and tools) so that was okay. When I gave him the computer, I also informed there was a list of 14 other small issues I had with it that I would like him to look at. 36 hours later, he called me and told me he was done. He said he had FOUR PAGES of notes, which I signaled I was excited to review. He said he would send them via email. Cool!
Flash forward 24 hours later, my computer has the same exact issue. Nothing was fixed! Over the next week, I text him repeatedly to get him to fix my pc. The best effort he puts forth is getting on my desktop via teamviewer (rolling my eyes a bit). After two different days of him doing this, he texts me on the 22nd of December that he will resume his work the following morning. Today is the 29th and I have not heard one word from him, even though I texted him twice. Oh, and he never sent the notes either (I asked for those on two different ocassions as well). At one point when I asked for a refund, he said no, he worked on the pc, so he will keep the money. Isn't customer satisfaction a requirement for pay?
The only bright side to my work with Brad is he now has a review on Yelp. So, forewarned everyone. read more
