Unless it's a brick and mortar stay clear. Installer said…read morehe'd be back and instead he IGNORED ME CALLS. Tried charging 1,500.00 I said no thank you he came down to 500.00 That's the first sign he's not a reliable business. AVOID as they will leave you with a job NOT DONE!!!

Stay away from this nightmare company. I'd say it's a bunch of scam artists but "artist" is way…read moretoo generous. We needed 4 locks re-keyed and after their locksmith was at our house with my husband for well over an hour I was notified of a $1,500 charge. My husband said that was the deposit to have the locks changed- the final bill would be $3,000! $750 per lock to be re-keyed which he didn't even seem to know how to do. I mean in the time he was there he hadn't done anything at all, and the whole scene was weird- a second person had driven onto our property and met with the locksmith and then left; he'd taken our front door key and my husband had to chase him down for it, he'd requested the deposit be Venmo'd to him directly, he'd asked a lot of very personal questions, all sorts of strange things. That same day we called to cancel the service and were told we'd be refunded for the deposit but never were. We called numerous times but always got a runaround. We had to dispute it with our credit card which took 3 months to resolve and- get this- during that time the locksmith called demanding a separate $250 fee for his consultation visit, I swear, and to pay it to him personally via Venmo. Beware, this is the shadiest company ever. For the record we ended up having all our locks re-keyed *and* emergency lockout service by a normal, reputable locksmith and the entire bill was $250.

They were dramatically over-priced, marked up the parts used on my house by about 150% and when I…read moreconfronted them about it they fabricated a "special distributor" who sold high quality parts that could only be purchased by locksmiths. I looked up the parts that they installed and they were the exact same parts by the exact same company as the ones sold at Lowes Hardware. When I confronted them with this information they just tried to convince me that I was mistaken. It wasn't worth a lawsuit, but in my opinion they're dishonest and should not be trusted.

I'm a property manager and one of my tenants had locked herself out of her apartment. Because it…read morewas after hours she had to contact a locksmith. She googled locksmiths near her and Lock A Roo came up. They came out and had her sign the contract that stated they would get her into the apartment and they would replace the lock so that she isn't left without the ability to lock her home. They were able to get her in after destroying the existing lock and they did not repair or replace the lock. Not only did they not fix the lock issue but they didn't leave all the parts to the damaged lock. She was charged $200 upfront and then also billed another $875 because they told her that the door lock is a "special" type door lock and would require more work to get into. Our door locks are manufactured by Schlage. They can be purchased right from HD Supply or Home Depot. My tenant refuses to pay the $875 because although she signed the contract, they did NOT do what they said they would do for her, besides get her into the apartment. They are trying to scam her and they had the audacity to tell her, "you are trying to scam us". What a joke! And to overcharge like that!! She's an elderly/disabled tenant and on a fixed income. Total $1075 is probably one full month's income for her. She has learned her lesson and will do more research if she should ever need another locksmith after business hours. My management company is also going to be going after them for the damage of the lock, only because we could not repair the lock they damaged due to the parts they took with them when they left. :-(
