The owner, Ray Archer, in the middle of another job, not only answered my call but dropped what he was doing and rushed to my location to help. While my story ends with a happy ending, what impressed me about Ray was his professionalism, his fairness, and his focus on outstanding service. He is a person of great integrity, is true to his word, humble and genuinely nice. In this day in age where service, honesty, fair pricing and personality are lacking, Ray is a true standout. We had our locks re-keyed after moving into a new home. The process took about an hour for 4 locks with 5 new keys created. This was much cheaper than buying brand new locks for every door. Raymond was extremely nice and professional. Once completed I tried every lock to ensure it worked properly. He pointed out any obseravtions he made about the doors/locks. He also shaved down the interior of the bolt to made lock more smoothly. He kept the area very clean while he shaved away some wood and metal and ensured that the metal was not left with any sharp edges. I had a lock on my external garage which didn't operate, and never had a key for. Called Mr. Archer and after talking with him about the problem and sending him photos, he got right back in touch with me, and we set up a time for him to take a look at it. Mr. Archer was right on time for our appointment, and was able work out the problem. He ended up putting a new cylinder in the lock (the old one was just too bad) and making extra keys.
