They said that the driver would be there to tow in 90 mins. I waited till 4:30 then called again. They told me they were stuck in traffic on 95 in PA and would be there in about 30 mins. I called back at 6:00pm and they told me they were in traffic in NJ. Guess they forgot their first lie. They told me by 7:00 they would definitely be there to get my car. I called the Roadside assistance at 7:00pm because they had still not arrived. They called speedy and the response was that Speedy was canceling service due to a hydraulic line blowing. The ironic part of this is the beginning of the company name is "speedy" .... Far from it. Do not call this company, you will be stuck on the side of the road for a long time!

No apology, no niceties from the driver. After the car was towed to our house, the driver informed us that he forgot his EZ pass and we need to pay for $40 tolls. We said it wasn't our fault he forgot it and we didn't need to take toll roads if that was the case, so we would not pay for this. The drive said fine and gave us a reciept for $251. When the transaction went through out bank account the amount billed was $291, apparently they thought they could sneak the toll charges in. We called and complained to no avail. HERE IS THE KICKER... January 10th, I looked at my bank account and, low and behold, Speedy had decided to take another $251 dollars out of our account. No reason or warning!! I called them 3 times, each time I was told that they were looking into it and they would call as soon as they figured out what happened. Each time I had to call back because no one was getting back to me. I called the next day again and they say that they didn't take the money out and that they are looking into seeing if the credit card company did it. It's my bank card and I doubt that they would just take money out and give it to some random company. So as of now, I am $251 short and fuming! " so no quick trips to Home Depot". All the fixtures are original to the house so they have there "charm, character, etc." But no one alive has any way to make keys for them any longer. ASAP was able to come in and make some very cost-effective recommendations and even replace one of the locks and make new keys for it right on site.

We needed 4 locks re-keyed and after their locksmith was at our house with my husband for well over an hour I was notified of a $1,500 charge. My husband said that was the deposit to have the locks changed- the final bill would be $3,000! $750 per lock to be re-keyed which he didn't even seem to know how to do. I mean in the time he was there he hadn't done anything at all, and the whole scene was weird- a second person had driven onto our property and met with the locksmith and then left; he'd taken our front door key and my husband had to chase him down for it, he'd requested the deposit be Venmo'd to him directly, he'd asked a lot of very personal questions, all sorts of strange things. That same day we called to cancel the service and were told we'd be refunded for the deposit but never were. We called numerous times but always got a runaround. We had to dispute it with our credit card which took 3 months to resolve and- get this- during that time the locksmith called demanding a separate $250 fee for his consultation visit, I swear, and to pay it to him personally via Venmo. Beware, this is the shadiest company ever. For the record we ended up having all our locks re-keyed *and* emergency lockout service by a normal, reputable locksmith and the entire bill was $250.
