Such a fun environment if you are into pop and mostly country music . My friend and I came on a Saturday night and it was $5 per person. We also rode the bull which was free after you fill out the paperwork for safety purposes. There's two floors so it's tons of space and the workers stand around and dance with you which I thought was cool. We both got a tequila sunrise which was the best drink I've had in awhile. I kinda feel bad for the people who got kicked out by bouncers :( I had a great time! I went with a girlfriend of mine . Our bartender Lonny was very sweet. I ended up seeing him both the times we were out ( sat and sunday night). Good customer service and they have tons of beers on tap. Our waitresses have also been very sweet. The bouncers- they definitely looked like no-nonsese big harley riding dudes who could knock a 200 lb guy out by spitting on 'em. But BOTH the days i was there, no fights, no nonsense and no knock outs. The drinks we were made were mediocre strong and not too expensive ( my wine was 6$, mixed drink was $7) Sat and Sunday night there was a rock band- really fun! I also love the fact that there are two different parts to PBR- one playing rock and the other playing clubby pop/ rock music. Flew in from Dallas, to hang out with some friends. Typical ghetto establishment, starting with the $5 cover. Entire places was dirty and smelled like pee. Bartenders were super nice but were limited in selection. Overall I'd rather buy a case of beer and drink in a hotel. read more

I had quite of an experience. There was white privilege at its finest just to enter the door. My partner and I was looking for a place to have a beer after an event and entered PBR around 11pm on a Friday evening. The cover charge was $5 if you weren't on "the list" which I saw next to the register. So, we were waiting in line for the register system to restart for about 4 minutes. During that time, a group of white men & women entered and waited in line (who were not on "the list")...the couple in line behind us shouted "wtf is going on" and the cashier told them to just go and they went around us. My partner and I eyes followed them as they casually entered, then back at the cashier (white female) as she held my debit card. I looked at her with a "question/confused" face and then she slid me my card and told to "just go" ,annoyingly. I wouldn't support such a place being a woman of color. My buddy checked his knife at the door, walked out after three beers to go to the ATM. Tried to walk in 2 mins later, they wouldn't let him in. Said he seemed drunk. Wouldn't even let him in to get his jacket. He called me to bring it out. I told them they were being outrageous. He literally drank three beers. They told me to get out too. Got home and realized he forgot his knife. Went back at opening the next day and they said there were no knives there. I have only been to PBR after 10 PM on occasion so I can't vouch for the rest of the time. However I found it to be crowded overpriced and generally a negative experience. If you like drinks spilled on you, the dance floor is perfect, if you like paying too much for a weak well drink or a beer the bar is great for you. The upsides--the mechanical bull for a fun bar experience, and of course you can't go wrong with the music which is above average merging a country bar with a modern dance club feel. Overall not my first or even second choice, but that depends on your preferences not necessarily the venue. read more

RACIST!! WHITES ONLY!! WORST SERVICE EVER!! I purchased a Groupon for PBR/Tapps intending to use it for Tapps because PBR is know to have a more Redneck vibe, but Tapps is never open when I am available to go so since PBR was open the day after Christmas I took advantage. 6:30 PM is when I arrived. The young lady at the door was helpful, but our waitress JESSICA (at least that is what the receipt said our waitress name was so other than that I wouldn't know for sure) was VERY RUDE!! It is so easy to say she was RACIST because she was disrespectful and unprofessional. Even if you don't want to help a customer you should still remain cordial. She tried very hard to say as few words as possible to me but carried on a conversation with the white lady right behind us for 5 minutes. Once we picked our seat she asked for our drinks with a slight attitude. She brought us water (that tasted like it came out the toilet) and gave us ONE MENU!! Now maybe they expect a party of two to share one menu. I didn't think it was that big of a deal but my girlfriend got really upset. Especially after JESSICA throws everything on the table without saying anything and walks away. After we decide what we want and get our food JESSICA does not bring us any silverware or napkins! She is behind our table conversing with someone I assume she knows so when i try to get her attention to ask for these things and ketchup (i just think if someone orders fries you should bring ketchup or at least ask if you need anything. And I think silverware should come automatic but maybe not here...) she got an attitude! She comes back throws the stuff on the table and disappears again. Every time I ask for something she made me feel bad for asking and offered minimal customer service. She really made us feel uncomfortable and bad for even coming there. The only reasons I can think of are 1. We were black 2. She was having a bad day 3. We used a Groupon and she didn't like that because she assumed we wouldn't tip or something. We didn't finish our food because my girlfriend was getting really upset so I just asked for a box so we could leave. After she ask for Groupon from my phone and takes care of bill she brings back the box and receipt, places it on the table and walks away without saying anything clearly being passive aggressive and trying to show us she was bothered about something. We leave and still leave a small tip of 5 dollars because I usually leave 10 but didn't want to stoop down to her level and match her evilness so I just left half of that. On our way out I mention it to the two people at the door. The young lady was being very attentive and tried to understand what was going out while the Gentleman standing beside her with the biggest cowboy hat on ever created tried to shut me up, cut me off and rush me out of the building. "Yeah, ok. Ill take care of it. Ok Uh huh, K. Bye." With the cowboy/ red neck (no offense) atmosphere im pretty sure I had poor service because of my skin color. I dont really care, it just sad to me people still think like that. Very Ignorant. And I dont have a problem with them not wanting black people in their club, they just need a sign that says whites only on the door because there are lots of other places I can go. First off let me say I am not a fan of country music. Or of the drunk people thinking they are all real cowboys. The drinks were not horribly over priced. But they also not cheap. The eye candy was very very good and the bartenders that I dealt with were friendly, attentive and seemed like they enjoyed their job. The music was a bit on the loud side but what can ya do. One thing that was strange was a bouncer came up and told me I could take my pocket knife to the car or have him take it and check it at the front. Now alright if there was a no knife policy fine but have some one up front with a wand checking every one as they come in. Don't pick and choose who you approach. Bad business in my opinion. My husband and I found ourselves in Hampton last night so we checked out Groupon and saw one for PBR. It was something different so we tried it out. The place was dead, but it was 9:00 on a Wed so that wasnt surprising. Our waitress was beyond friendly and we were surprised by how good our food was. My husband got the white hot pizza and loved it! I had the sweet and smoky chicken wrap and enjoyed it. Beware PBR patrons. If you are having a good time, minding your own business, not causing any trouble, not falling down, not splling drinks, not puking, or doing anything else that people usually get kicked out of bars for that doesn't mean you are safe. I was on my second drink and a bouncer decided I was drunk and needed to leave. I was minding my own business oustide at the last picnic bench on the patio when I was approached by a bouncer who claimed that I "Looked drunk" and needed to leave. What kind of a place takes people's money and then just decides on a whim to kick them out after they have paid a cover and drinks? The only thing that I can figure is the bouncers get really bored when nothing bad is going on or they have a quota for the number of people they kick out per night. Either way, it's unacceptable and, from the reviews it appears they do this often. Hopefully enough people get sick of it and, like me, just don't go back. We are from out of town and thought this might be a fun place to grab something to eat. The place was fairly dead (less than 5 customers) and it looked like they were setting up for karaoke. When we finally spotted a greeter he said "Go ahead and take a seat anywhere." And then he promptly disappeared. No offer to get us started with drinks. No menus. Nothing. We left. I leave the house with my friends or my husband to go out and drink and dance and they have the whole bar closed down what a waste of time. Pretty good place, especially if you're into country music. However, it's particularly awesome for people watching. Such an assortment of humanity at this PBR! Oddly, I went multiple times....and each time they seemed to have a totally different vibe. One night it was all country music with every guy wearing flannel/plaid shirts and cowboy hats...(pretending they work on farms, when you know damn well they're all spoiled white boys who grew up in the suburbs and think that just because they drive a pick-up truck they magically know what REAL farm work is, hahahahaha!). The second time I went, the music/vibe was everything BUT country. Lots of "club" music, rap, classic rock, and even some dubstep playing. So weird! Lots of guys wearing pimp/gangster outfits, grinding up on their ladies who were barely wearing any clothes. I ordered TWO Lemon Drop shots for some friends...and it came to $14! What the actual hell!?!?! $7 for a tiny shot? But the line was too long, it was too loud, and I had already stood in line to order the shots for 20 minutes....so I couldn't really argue. Never upset a bartender....cuz they can ruin your night. The mechanical bulls are funny to watch, but I don't like how the guy controlling the bull gives such favor to the females. When guys try to ride it, he intentionally makes it harder for them, more erratic, so they get thrown off sooner. Girls get a smoother ride, because breasts rule this economy apparently. It's a good place, though. Sometimes there isn't much room to dance, but it's better to just go upstairs, play some pool, and watch everyone else dance. That punch-bag game is pretty fun, but I think something is wrong with the sensor because 10 different dudes will punch it, and magically ALL get a score of 851. Weird. It's also sexist that there's a "man" and "woman" setting on the machine. LMAO....it's 2018! Don't assume my gender, bruh! read more

My first time here started well enough. I was with a VIP party and the waitress was decent. By the time more customers came in, she rarely came to our table. At 10:30, she charged my card and brought me my tab, which I had not asked for. I had 3 half off beers because of the VIP party, 2 full price beers and an entree. My tab was $67. I asked the waitress for an itemized tab, and she had shots on there that I had not ordered. She came back with a tab that looked more like it should be. I checked my account on Monday and I have been charged twice, once for the correct amount and once for the $67. Now I can't get in touch with anyone there, and I'm forced to take this up with my credit card company. My advice? Don't go there. No place should charge your card without showing you your tab first. This place will never get my money again, and I have told the entire VIP party about what I'm going through. If you get Jessica, tell her ahead of time to not charge your card before you see your tab. I will keep this review at 1 star until this issue is resolved. read more

This place makes me laugh. It's such a mix of crowds here. You have people who ride the bull all night long and when I say ride it, they legitimately must take lessons because they stay on for 5-10 mins at a time. Then you have your crowd on the "dance floor." I think there are about 3-4 (I could be wrong) total bars in the place. We didn't go upstairs bc I think that was smoking only, at least that's what we were told. They had tons of their TV's on to show the different sporting events going on that night. The back patio was open because the weather was nice and warm out even though it was December. Oh and dress code is so mixed. Some girls were wearing skin tight dresses and others were wearing jeans and a cute top. Guys wore a variety of clothes too. I say wear whatever is comfortable because I saw such a variety. Oh also, there was a $5 cover at the door and we came on a Wednesday. Not sure if it's different any other day of the week. Drinks were good, not extremely strong though. I paid $5.50 I believe for a gingerale and vodka (rail) and $7 for a jack and Coke. read more

This place has had quite the nose dive over the years. It used to be called saddle ridge and now PBR. Professional bull riding. We were at the bar with the mechanical bull. Our bartender was never there when we needed a drink and we had to endure the lifetime bull riding guys that PBR has. Seriously, he's been there for years... Get a real job! They often try to make girls sexy by allowing them to straddle this thing which makes you want to... Well you get the point. You shouldn't wear that, etc. the dance floor is full of young people who only know how to line dance. I learned to dance in Texas, it's quite shameful to watch. The crowds can be annoying and when I say that I mean everyone is a bad ass and ready to fight. The two highlights of this place are the bathroom attendants who actually offer a service and the outdoor fire pits. But no matter where you go you are running into cigarette smoke. I'm glad we went last night but I'm glad I don't frequent places like this. read more

Get back a little after 6pm and people are standing outside of the PBR side. So I went to check the Tap side and ask the waitress were they open she said "Yes". So i went to get my friend come back and the waitress tell us to hold on. When she get back state they don't open to 7pm. If you start a tab I would keep track of how much you actually drink. I had one beer and decided to close out my tab, I noticed the next day I had two charges, apparently someone else ordered drinks so they started another tab with my card. I've called twice about this issue and it still hasn't been resolved. I'm wondering how many times the bartenders charge their friends' drinks to someone elses tab hoping they never notice. Makes you wonder!!!! I'm rating them a big fat ZERO for their lack of customer service in resolving an issue. Will I go back? Overall I really like PBR as a place to go out. I went there with my husband, brother and sister-in-law for NYE. My husband and I went in a few nights before to buy $15 entry tickets for NYE. Danielle offered us $40 per person tickets which were supposed to include entry with no wait, either a buffet dinner at PBR or a plated dinner at Tapps, a bottle of vodka (which we upgraded to Captain for $50), three mixers and a table upstairs. Being from NY, this seemed like a good deal so we got it. Danielle told us she would call us the day of to confirm. That day my husband called her that day to ask a question about the package and she told him "I am trying to get ready and people keep calling me, I will call you back." She called him back at 7pm (even though the party started at 6pm) and confirmed the package. When we got there at 9:30pm we told man checking ID that we had a package and he told us to wait in line. I told him we were told we did not have to wait so he called Danielle over and she took us upstairs and said to help ourselves to the buffet downstairs. There was no buffet, it ended at 8pm which no one told us. When we asked her if we could get the plated dinner at Tapps she said she can get us a to-go box of the leftover buffet food that was in the back and said that dinner was not part of our package. We talked to the manager and she lied about what she had sold us and told him that she never told us dinner was included and that we paid for a $15 cover and a $150 for a bottle of captain!!! Why on earth would I spend $150 on a bottle I could buy for $20?? Clearly she just wanted to sell tickets and lied so that people would buy them. The manager gave us a plate of appetizers which included cheese quesadillas, tortilla chips and 8 chicken nuggets... not what we expect for paying $210. I would never book a package with Danielle again, she will lie right to your face. read more

We went here last night after the PBR event at the coliseum. Beers were not too pricey and the food was great. Hubby said the burger was awesome! Atmosphere was cool. The only issue we had was with the American Flag. It's awesome that they are so patriotic but when you display the flag, you have a responsibility to ensure its done appropriately. The one hanging from the bull head over the dance floor was hanging from a wire backwards. It may seem petty to some but it shows great disrespect when displaying the Flag incorrectly. However, I'm not a jerk so I assumed they were unaware. I approached the closest person(DJ) and told him. His response was-that's not my flag. Umm okay? He realizes what he said and told us who to talk to. So we did and only be told that---well one of the guys put it up a few days ago and we realized it was backwards but haven't had time to change it. Really? Give me a ladder and I will change it myself is what I wanted to say but of course, I didn't. I hope they take the time to fix it. read more
