Our favorite was the maple walnut -- it was an excellent recommendation by the lovely woman assisting us! Our daughter loved the strawberry fudge. This shop offers so many more flavors of fudge and other yummy truffles and chocolates. They also sell every kind of candy you can imagine, including old school candy and novelty candy (think scorpion lollipops LOL). Great shop to stop by while visiting Payson. We wandered in not knowing what to expect and received a friendly welcome by the artist himself while making a candle. Each candle listed for sale is uniquely crafted by various artists that are employed there. Not one candle is the same. Annnnnddd each image candle glows when lit, so it's extremely unique : D. They are made from paraffin wax and sell individually for $29.99, you get a deal if 2 or more are purchased. The artist on site was very helpful and answered everyone's questions while making and selling candles. Needless to say, I fought tooth and nail to take home one of their glow in the dark globe candles. This bad boy is now sitting on my bookshelf and is the perfect souvenir from our adventures in Sedona! They have two locations in downtown Sedona, a brick and mortar storefront and a booth in a gift shop that features a number of vendors. Their globe shaped candles are eye catching in color and uniqueness. Each candle comes with instructions for melting, which should be done in 30 minute increments. Eventually you'll be able to use the globe as a candle stick holder. Double win!

My kids had fun dipping candles on their own. We made a purchase and I accidentally left without my credit card. It wasn't offered back to me so it didn't register with me. Over an hour later I was ready to pay for a food bill and realized I didn't have my card. I ran back to the store and inquired about my card. The young lady said, "Oh, I realized you left your card and was going to run after you, but..." But what? Finish your sentence. "But, I was too involved with my phone and just couldn't break away from it to give you back your card." There, doesn't the truth feel better? It's a shame that cell phones are allowed to be openly used by employees while working. Quite a distraction from their paid responsibilities.

I've noticed that customer service at a lot of Home Depot locations has really gone downhill…read morelately. Thankfully, that's not the case at the Payson Home Depot! Every time I walk in, I'm greeted warmly and have an overall great experience. I especially want to recognize Jody at the Pro Desk--she is always smiling, happy, and genuinely kind. I absolutely love her! I always look forward to seeing her, and honestly, it's a little disappointing when she's not there. That said, the rest of the team is also friendly and helpful. It's clear this location still values great customer service, and it really makes a difference.

I ordered $1800 worth of mulch from Home Depot Payson bc it was on sale, in stock, and website said…read moreit could be delivered free next day. Great! A few hours after ordering I got the call that I had received many times before on larger orders..."our truck is full and we need to reschedule your delivery". They scheduled it one week later. I told them please do not sell my product in the meantime bc I have had that happen before too. I was assured it was set aside and ready to go. One week later I checked the website and it said expect drlivery today between around 9:30-10:30am. Great! Then, I received a call from the delivery driver to clarify directions and make sure there was a place to unload the pallets and turn the truck around. I told her it was good to go and I would be waiting with gate open and dogs inside. She said it should be about 2-3 hours. About 2.5 hours later she calls me back to say she was sorry she cannot deliver my order bc Home Depot was dragging their feet on loading my order into her truck. She had been waiting for hours. Her boss is making her leave to go to her next delivery. Wow. I called the number for online orders, and they had a note in the system that "the product was unsafe for delivery". They transferred me to the store manager, John. Multiple apologies were offered but no real solution. They simply could not do the job and make the delivery happen. I had set aside a whole business day staying at home, and frankly, my time is money. My mulch project will wait til next spring. It won't be from Home Depot. It was their last chance in many years worth of disappointing experiences specifically with delivery.
