Very cool place! Every candle in this shop is uniquely made. It is hard to find two candles that are the same here. The best part of this place is that you get to occassional watch one of the employees make the candles and the designs! We ended up purchasing a very current penguin candle -- an incredible keepsake for what was an amazing trip. Worth a browse, for sure! read more

This was probably one of my favorite souvenirs of the trip to sedona. The store is adorable and has sooo many candles to choose from. There are a few of these throughout the little shops in sedona so keep that in mind when shopping for these. The possibilities are endless with these candles and the girl told us they do custom orders too with names, dates, certain colors, etc. Such a cute idea. read more

Blown away by Sedona Candle Magic. Pun intended. We visited Sedona as a group over the holidays and decided to support local with a White Elephant gift exchange. Needless to say, I fought tooth and nail to take home one of their glow in the dark globe candles. This bad boy is now sitting on my bookshelf and is the perfect souvenir from our adventures in Sedona! They have two locations in downtown Sedona, a brick and mortar storefront and a booth in a gift shop that features a number of vendors. Their globe shaped candles are eye catching in color and uniqueness. Each candle comes with instructions for melting, which should be done in 30 minute increments. Eventually you'll be able to use the globe as a candle stick holder. Double win! read more

While our stay in Sedona, we walked around town and passed by this establishment. It wasn't until the employee very enthusiastically showed how the candles glow under the lights and how they changed colors. He was so proud and passionate about his work, that he grabbed our attention right away. He showed us how the candles are made and what color techniques makes the best glowing candles. We were like little kids picking candles and putting them under the light to see the color changes. We literally spend over and hour talking to the employee and looking at the candles. We loved his attitude and friendly character. We end up buying 5 candles!!! That's how good of a sales man he is lol Each candle is $28 or four candles for $99 plus tax. If you are ever in Sedona, stop by Candle Gallery and enjoy the experience. It is well worth it. read more

One of my favorite shops to always stop at in Sedona. Customized wax candles made everyday by the staff. You can pick one of the premade candles on the shelves or customize one online & pick it up by the end of the day. read more

They appear to sell these candles all over town but wherever you might find them, they really are beautiful. And expensive. I think the big 'uns run close to $30. Definitely worth checking out. I'm not a big candle guy but these are pretty beautiful and can be considered, in my mind, small works of art. read more

This candle shop is enchanting. These candles are handmade and you can see them made in shop from start to finish. Every candle is one of a kind, and you can hold them up to the lights to see how they look lit up! We had a great conversation with the candle maker/artist. Out of respect for the policies of the shop, we did not take pictures of the inside, but there was so much to see-it is worth going in person. But we had to show off these beauties! read more

This lovely spot is located just inside Canyon Breeze. Of course you'll want to buy one of these beautiful candles that glow from within; but even if you don't, it's worth watching. Hubby and I ordered coffee and ice cream, then sat back and watched the artists create these beauties. read more

Great product; family business. Very friendly. I would definitely recommend as a gift or nice souvenir of the area.

We went into both shops on the uptown sedona strip. The staff is friendly and helpful. Many of them were the candle artists and making them right in front of you. They have around 10 different styles and sizes of candles. However they had hundreds of unique designs. All hand made by local art. So many colors to choose from. You burn them down the center and they put a tea light candle inside and the scenes glow. We bought a couple for Christmas gifts. They will ship if you are from out of state. I recommend stopping by even if it is just to watch and window shop. read more

I came across this place thinking it was going to be just an ordinary candle shop, but boy was I was wrong. The workers in this shop are true artists, handcrafting beautiful and natural scenic designs out wax. I was blown away by how the candles themselves reveal such a gorgeous array of colors when illuminated. If you're on vacation and looking for a piece of Sedona to bring back home with you, or if you're looking for a souvenir to gift to others, these candles are perfect. My sister-in-law who shared with me that she's not a candle person said this place made her want to be a candle person (she ended up purchasing a candle here too. Lol). Just shows that you don't have to be a "candle person" to appreciate these true pieces of art. read more

We watched some candles being made and the girl was very friendly and helped demonstrate who the light up/glowed. My daughter decidedly a few and again she gave us instructions on how to burn it and made sure we had a printed copy as well. They were safely wrapped and boxed so no worries if you have to travel. Very happy with our purchase read more

This place is awesome. Totally worth checking out. A store unlike anywhere else. The staff were super nice and we watched as they made a candle in front of us. read more

The Good: Friendly staff and a great selection of very attractive candles in a variety of colors and designs. The Bad: The price of an individual candle isn't cheap, but buying multiple ones makes them more affordable. By Sedona standards though, even a single candle isn't that pricey. The Ugly: Very limited selection of size and shape for their candles. Not bad if you like what they have, but if you want a variety of shapes or unusual sizes this may be more limited than you'd like. If you like candles and are in Sedona, you should absolutely stop here. read more

Oh my gosh I love this place! We saw the girl inside creating a Sedona sunset candle and we asked if we could have it because it was amazing! She held it for us while it cooled and we took it home! This candle is so pretty. And after it burns a hole in the center, we can reuse it with tea lights! I love it! read more

I guess this used to be Candle Gallery at a different location, but the current location is right in the center of Uptown Sedona. This store is like a candy store. Full of artistic designs, colors, and watching the staff make the candles is fun. The staff begin the shaping and dipping process then drying then carving. Some candles have a matte finish, but most (and more attractive) have a glossy finish. The candles have a glow which make these unique. The more elaborate the design (carving), the more beautiful the glow. Since you can't take a match to light the candles, they provide LED lights where you can take a candle and see how much glow it has before you purchase it. I ended up with 8 candles ($27 each for medium) - and since I was going to mail these out to my friends in various parts of the country, I mailed these out from Sedona's post office. These candles are heavy and would need a suitcase of their own if I took them on the flight back! The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is when I lit my candle at home, wax dripped on sides and "splattered " all over my side table and I ended up scraping wax off my glass surface (see photo). read more

Not being an artist myself (I can't even draw a conclusion), I was impressed watching the young artist dipping candles numerous times, trimming the bottoms, and then carving the artistry into them. She made it look so fluid and easy, and we had a conversation about the process. I was really impressed because she was creating the art by hand without a template or computer. Of course, my wife and I bought a "Sedona" candle with the rocks and the cactus on it to remind us of our trip. Price was reasonable and it was packed well. Unfortunately, it was too dense to be read by the scanner machines at Sky Harbor Airport, so we were moved into the "what the Hell is that" line while TSA opened the box to inspect the candle. There wasn't a chance that we were going to pack the candle in our luggage so we carried it on, and despite the minor inconvenience, we were on our way. Candle looks great in our sitting room and we are following the 30-minute max burn time. read more
