I especially love metal work and it's a hard practice, so it's nice to just walk around and admire the offerings. The staff was very friendly to us when we visited. Overall: A+ A must-see jewelry store in Historic Jerome, AZ.

When I approached them about this and said how offensive and wrong this is, the blond lady at the counter said "the artist is a lesbian." Okay? So what? I'm not sure what this has to do with anything. When I further explained how they need to stop this, she just said "sorry!" And I said "no you're not," and she couldn't care less. This is insanely exploitative and anti-Semitic and I can't believe the store and the artist think this is totally okay. "She believed she could so she did?" Did what? Got burned for her religion? Of course they don't care to understand why this is wrong. They just want a cute girl next to a cliche message to make money. This is inhumane. The professional thing to do would have been to say, "I don't understand why this is wrong, not many Jewish people come through our doors, and maybe you can explain your perspective," but no one cared.

The shop also has psychics available, and I decided on the spur of the moment to have a reading with Vanessa. I am usually disappointed with psychics and long ago gave up on getting readings, but Vanessa was wonderful. I was truly impressed. I would call her a "channel" rather than a psychic, really. Upon going into the store we saw many workers in there but no one seemed to care they had a customer, we were finally acknowledged by an older lady with dark hair (I wish I would of got her name) she was very rude from the beginning even with us telling her what and why we needed it done, she said in the very beginning "I don't think we can do that, but I'll ask the jeweler" after going to the back with my rings for what seemed like forever she came back out and rudely told us if he did it you'd be able to tell where he cut it and that to reset my ring it would be over $400 - it wasn't about the price it was about the absolute rudeness we received from her from the minute we walked in. I had lost my husband 2 days before that, it was hard enough going out in public but when she showed no care in the world like we were just ruining her day by being there. We decided they did not deserve our business. We decided to check another nearby jeweler while we were down there. He was the nicest guy, he quoted us a price less than half of what Raskins quoted us and had it done in an hour! It was done perfectly and NO you can not tell where he had to cut it. He even saved the piece he cut out for me! He showed remorse in why we needed it done and actually gave a shit. Sorry Raskin but you have lost my business forever. I do not usually do reviews, as I also have businesses and hate bed reviews but you earned this one. Hire people who care and like their job! Sincerely, A morning family
