The pools looks nice and communication was satisfactory, the upsetting part was no regards for damaging items. Their contract says not responsible for anything and that's exactly what it means. They used our hoses and damaged two of them along with hose sprinkler,( we had to buy new ones) ran over and destroyed two landscape, which we understand things happen. But when the sprinkler system didn't work and we saw where water was pooling in the yard, we were not happy. My husband fixed the leaking cracked spot only to find out they had broke a pipe so he had to dig down deep to fix and refix the original area. It was obvious that their subcontractors knew they broke it and it would have been easier to fix it if they did not literally cover it up. The owner's response..." it's a large project and disruptions happen"

Crack - algae in pool as result of loss of water due to cracks and salt not holding

BEWARE! Payne Pool Professionals installed a new in-ground pool at our home. We paid them on time and as contracted. Upon completion of the pool, the plaster was discolored. Five months later, there were four cracks in the plaster and gunite, and our pool was losing water at an alarming rate. Payne refused to address the problems, and we wound up paying $16,637 out-of-pocket in repairs. Attempting to recoup the repair costs, we filed a lawsuit in District Court of Baldwin County (Case Nr. DV-2023-900369.00). The court ruled in our favor and entered a judgement against Payne in the amount of $18,137. We have never sued a company before and were astounded that Payne refused to stand by its warranty and disappeared. They have refused to acknowledge the court's judgement and we have had to hire more attorneys to collect. The judge's ruling was: "It is ORDERED and ADJUDGED that a judgment is hereby entered in favor of the Plaintiff, [name redacted], and against the Defendant, Payne Pool Professionals, LLC in the amount of $16,637.60, plus $1,500.00 in attorney fee reimbursement, plus costs of Court and interest." Payne does not honor their warranty, instead claiming the customer does not properly maintain their pool. In our case, nothing could be further from the truth as we had a reputable (in business for over 25 years), professional pool company performing weekly maintenance from the time Payne completed the pool. A bevy of Better Business Bureau complaints (*please check them out!*) filed against Payne show some consistent things about the company: * Their work is suboptimal. * They cut communication and do not follow up in a timely manner. * They often "blame" the homeowner for not properly maintaining their pool as the reason they will not honor a warranty. We cannot warn you strongly enough against hiring this company. Photos posted on Google Reviews.

Cant handle the work! They put on a good show on the internet and their sales team but when it cones down to the work they suck.

They are installing a pool for us and doing a great job. Ryan did a great job with "Pool School" also.

The installer did not follow up with details that Todd and I had agreed on. I have called multiple times and emailed to have one issue corrected but no one will respond. Todd said the liner would be ordered at the end of Jan 2023, it would take a month to arrive, then they would begin. Didn't happen. 2. My pool guy for over 20 years suggested to them they begin before the rains because of the water table here would make it difficult to drain. When they finally started in late April the water table was up and they had trouble emptying the pool. This created complaints from neighbors because of length of time water emptying into mailbox area. They also tore up the bottom of the pool to access the french drain and did a bad job recementing the pool floor. 3. Came home to find a cement truck on my lawn. Ruts were filled with chunks of concrete from the pool. 4. Had a working pool light before the job started, but not after. 5. Strips and screws around stair area never got covers on them. 6. I ordered a white liner and got a blue liner. 7. Todd said he'd put me on the work schedule to come out - no show. I tried for 6 months before writing the Better Business Bureau with pictures. Pensacola Poolscapes didn't care. The company has no standards except to get your money and run. Guess they never learned that if you treat your customers well they'll be loyal. I wouldn't spend a dime in that store.

We understand manufacturer defects. A week later we were scheduled for liner replacement on Monday. No show no call. Showed up Tuesday. New liner installed. Husband noticed the ball valves hadn't been installed. Texted Kevin I. Regards to our upgraded ladder still hasn't shown up & let him know about the ball valves. He said his guys did t have any in their truck during the install which was over 2 weeks ago. I guess they just weren't going to install them which are important for pool maintenance. The ladder situation- no upgraded ladder since I had texted Devin that we would order our own set of steps. Plus a pool bottom mat. I never received an acknowledgment on our request. So we assumed we would get the upgraded ladder still. I didn't order the set we wanted. My complaint or should say dissatisfaction with Syan pools would be lack of communication & not installing a completed piping system which was paid for. Hopefully Kevin shows up this week to install the ball valves as he stated. It Friday @ 5pm. So maybe tomorrow.

Even his own employees told me he is rude to them and customers. We decided on which pool we wanted and someone came to our home. We gave a $2,500 deposit and signed a invoice. I showed where we had received an email from owners wife that we would be given a $500 discount if paid in cash. The gentleman wrote this down on the invoice and told us what balance would be. A week and a half later I received a call from a shipping company saying they needed to schedule a time to deliver a pool. I reached out to the owner of Syan to make sure this was legit, as we were not told the pool would be shipped to us. The owner immediately became defensive and basically accused me of saying he was running some type of scam. I never accused the owner of running a scam. I just wanted to make sure this was a legit phone call I had received. The owner doesn't return text messages even though I was given his number by his wife and told to text him. The first day of pool install was canceled due to weather, understandable. The second day I was told they would arrive between between 7 and 8:30am. I sent a text around 10am and was told Noontime. 1 person finally showed up at around 3pm and started preparing the site of where pool was going. This was on a Friday afternoon. About a hour and a half later he advised he was leaving, but stated they could come back tomorrow if I really wanted them to and said his guys like having the weekend off. I agreed to them finishing Monday morning. The pool was finished Monday. They never put pool ladder together. Plumbing to the pool looks like it was done by a 1st grader. My wife paid the balance in cash to guy at my home. He said it was $500 short. He was shown invoice where $500 discount for cash. Later that night I was sent a text to please call the guy who had prepared site. I called him the next morning. He told me the owner was upset and that I was trying to rip him off for $500. I sent him a screen shot of the email from owners wife showing a $500 discount if paid in cash. He told me he would let the owner know. I also sent the screenshot to the owner. No response from the owner. We have had no further contact with anyone from the company in regards to any questions, warranty etc for the pool. Communication goes a long way Bobby. So yes, we are happy to have a pool, but would not recommend this company

Ezra,…read moreowner of EZ Cool's Decks & Pools, is truly down-to-earth, honest, professional, punctual, and skilled. He is easy to work with and easily adaptable to suggestions. I do plan on hiring him again for future projects, because I can honestly trust that he will do the job correctly, affordably, and punctually. Shortly after buying my house, my deck began collapsing and needed to be completely replaced. The previous contractors gave me astronomically high estimates that made me so discouraged that I was about to try to replace it by myself. Fortunately, I asked around and was referred to EZ Cool's Decks & Pools. Ezra with EZ Cool's came out, reviewed previous estimates, and was even willing to use the lumber I already had. Ezra identified where the costs were being drained in the previous estimates and was able to give me the first HONEST ESTIMATE that was LESS THAN HALF as much as previous estimates. He had the plans, numbers, and everything done much faster than I expected. He made this tricky process extremely easy and affordable for me. I am glad I went with EZ Cool's decks & pools because they are the most honest contractors out here. I look forward to working with him again!
