Phil and his team would NEVER do that. They are responsible, responsive, and take pride in the quality of their work. After firing the old company, we took our pool service on ourselves, and it became too much. Especially when our salt cell died, and our pool went downhill, fast. Phil got us up and running in a week! Our pool is mesmerizing now it is so gorgeous. Hire them.

I called Ben after seeing all the good reviews. He is a true professional who really knows his craft. He taught us how to operate the equipment and gave us referrals to resolve the leak in the pool and get it replastered. He supported us through the entire process. Several people mentioned our equipment was old but it was still working and Ben helped us avoid paying out extra costs to fix things that weren't broken. Ben shows up every week on time and sends a status report with chlorine levels, PH and work that was done. Ben has always worked in our best interests and best of all, our pool is beautiful and ready to swim in.

Avoid VIP Pool and Spa LLC and Jacob Shankland for pool service…read more I do not recommend doing business with Jacob Shankland or VIP Pool and Spa LLC. My experience was incredibly unprofessional. Weekly service was sporadic. He or his designated employee failed to show up for weekly service for 12 weeks over 10 months of service. Despite what is clearly stated in the service agreement, I never received a refund for the services that were never performed but paid for! Worse, he became non-responsive, to my inquiries. This is not just poor customer service--this is completely unethical business practice. Save yourself the frustration and choose a company that values professionalism, integrity, and honoring written agreements. Update: Jacob Shankland did reimburse me for missed service after I posted this review.
