A horrible experience went 4 times and they refused service because my car was an old model saying It takes 45 minutes but they did the first smog in less then 20. And paid 90 when other places charge less please avoid this place. read more

If you value your hard earned money and don't want to be ripped off go anywhere else but here. I made this mistake and I'm writing this review so no one else gets screwed like me. These 2 old guys don't know what the hell they are doing. They have their heads up their asses and only know how to scam someone out of their money. I took my RV there and waited 30min and they didn't know wtf they were doing. They knew from the beginning my check engine light didn't light up yet they ran the whole thing, revved the engine for so long, I thought it was going to blow up. My whole interior was hotter than hell from this. They poked around for 1 hour that's 2 old guys then signal one another to take my money and then tell me my check engine light didn't light and I failed and I have to get it fixed and I can come back in less than 30 days and they will take $20 off. I paid $90 for nothing. I wanted to punch both of them but hey they're not worth my effort, hopefully this helps others. I have to work 5 hours for these 2 old thieves to scam me when they could have just said that from the beginning and that would be the honest route. Someone needs to put an end to their dishonest ways of doing business. I'll go anywhere but there. Be cautious folks. I passed everything with flying colors and if they blew my engine they would've never paid for it. Mother tucker is a sob a hole. I was recommended to come to this place by a friend. They always had great experience with them and never any issues. So my wife and I went to go and take care of this quick smog appointment. The technician, Sadullah, would not start on the smog until my wife and I exited to the waiting area. A little weird but hey I get it, not everyone likes an audience. So we respected the wishes and sat in the designated area. Now, I'll be the first to admit that I do not know much about cars, but I know when something feels wrong. So after about 15 minutes Sadullah motioned me over to my vehicle. He asks me to start my car while he was reading the computer component of the vehicle. Immediately my stomach drops. My car won't start. I've never once had an issue getting my car smoged nor has it ever failed. He had asked if I had the battery changed recently, and in fact I had about two weeks prior. While I understand a brand new battery needs about 100-200 miles to reset the codes, there's no way this could have been the case. I put about 30 miles a day on my vehicle, and I continued to do so after the new battery. I was not really sure what to say or do at this point, so I simply nodded and smiled until we finished our transaction. Sadullah instructed me to "remove" my batter and then put it back in. I was confused for a couple reasons: Why didn't he do it himself if he knew that would fix it? And nothing in my vehicle indicated that my battery wasn't communicating to the rest of my vehicle. My cigarette lighter ports were working just fine as well as my radio, and dashboard lights. This was very odd but I grudgingly paid the bill and left. As soon as I start up my car I can already tell something isn't right. My dash board lights up with all these icons that I've never seen before. My radio was shot and there was no more communication to my traction control. My car was sputtering when I'd hit 15 mph and felt like i was driving on ice. Something was absolutely wrong. My car was functioning just fine before we went to this place. We decided the best course of action was just to take it home and wait for tomorrow, as most garages were closed by the time everything was said and done. The next day we call up our family mechanic to take a look at it. I start up my car and everything seems to be back to normal-ish. No more lights, except for my check engine which still did not go away, but was not there until Sadullah "smoged" it. Anyway, we take the car to our mechanics and they immediately go to work. Also, these mechanics just seen my vechile last week and are witness to my vechile not having any issues. They run every test in the book right there in front of us. Everything was working beautifully, until we get to the dreaded computer test. It wouldn't start and it was the same deal that happened at payless smog. They tested all the fuses and with no issues. All the fuses were working perfectly. They then asked if I had a second fuse box in my vehicle. I do not. We tested the cigarette lighters, again no issues. Then he plugged in the device to test the computer, and it was incredible. Everything electronic in my car just died. No more lights, no more temperature gauge, no more speedometer, nothing. They stood back in awe. They asked if we could leave it over night because they had no idea why this would happen. We get home and about an hour later we get a call from our mechanics with some astonishing news. They discovered that my OBD 2 wires had been cut. They said there was no way they could have been snagged, or pulled naturally because not only were they cut clean, but they were cut right to the base to the point where they needed to be replaced entirely. Only somebody that knew what they were doing could have pulled this off. I posted pictures to show you what I'm talking about. Thankfully, I have great mechanics that are honest and we can count on. I am incredibly disappointed that something like this could happen in the times we are currently living in. I get it. It's tough out there right now. Business is slow for everyone and sometimes you get a little desperate, totally understandable. What isn't understandable is dishonesty to your own customers. As the old saying goes, "Don't bite the hand that feeds you." If a place is this hard up for $50 they should've just put up a GoFundMe. Anything is better than destroying a person's car. People need their cars. My vehicle is incredibly important to me. It gets me to work. It transports my family. I am very disheartened to have to write this review as they seem to have a good reputation, but this is unacceptable. Please do better next time. If you have bad apples in your company please throw them out. The few bad ones are ruining it for everyone. If anyone is interested in the mechanics that fixed my own vehicle feel free to ask and I will privately give you their information. I will absolutely be requesting my money back. Never fails , honest and verry friendly, recommend anybody who wants honest results. Not like those other shops that just fail your car cause it had a broken vacuum hose. read more
