I drive by this place everyday on my way to work so when I realized my vehicle needed a smog to renew my registration it was easy to stop by. This is my first smog so I wasn't sure about the pricing, after speaking to friends/family members I was told the price is about average. What stood out to me was the customer service. I had my bf call them to give a price for a smog check for my car and they told him it was going to be $50 but when I actually went in person and asked for a price the guy said it was going to be $62 and I told him that I called and you said it was $50 then he quickly changed the price to $52... so just be aware of that ladies... have a man call first for a price. Took my vehicle to get smogged No check engine lights no issues other than throwing extra smoke when the tester pressed on the throttle. it's a Diesel, they throw smoke when you abuse the throttle. Did not pass me . Fixed the issues he said to fix, I took it back since I had already paid and now he comes up with other issues that were not mentioned at all on the first visit! We showed up at this place without reservation on a Saturday morning and were pleased that there was no lines and no waiting. We were greeted promptly (after we learned that we needed to drive around behind the gas station to get into the the smog shop). The guy working (owner?) was nice and polite. The smog check lst all of about 10 or 15 minutes. I was happy with the service and would recomend this joint to family and friends with the following conditions: Since there isn't a waiting room, this is not the place to go to in the summer when it will be 120 degrees outside... Great place! I looked around a LOT TO find a good, reliable test-only place. Some of the reviews out there for other places weren't so great, so I was nervous just picking a place. It wasn't too expensive. I was told it's normally $60, but I paid $50 (would have been $40 if it failed) and that included electronic transfer and certificate.
