4.7 Star (187) Reviews on Google! Since 1994 this company is doing their job, and well, to offer a Star or regular Smog service. My husband has been using this great business since the beginning so I am glad he brought me here so I could share my experience. CLEAN lobby, HELPFUL Staff with SIGNAGE that tells you your options for Registration after your car passes, and Very ORGANIZED office and garage space. You know they care about the service they are providing for us, which can be rare and hard to find these days. read more

First time to be asked for a smog test and this place was recommended by a friend. All the reviews are true and I'm glad I went with the suggestion. Highly professional, very quick, and fairly priced. If you bring in a coupon printed from their website, you get $10 more off. And they have a waiting room available. I don't think it took them more than 15 minutes. I logged on to DMV about 4 hours after the smog test and was able to renew my registration right away. These guys are highly recommended! read more

Horrible customer service and questionable integrity. Will try to sabotage your vehicle so you have to pay the state for unnecessary repairs in order to further their relationship with the DMV less than a mile from its location. Choose wisely. read more

Quick, easy, good service and good price. Worth checking out if you need a smog. Located downtown.

Excellent smog services location. I just needed a smog check so I looked up on yelp the shop with the best reviews and Best Smog popped up. Overall they lived up to their name. Smog check took less than 20 minutes, all went well, nice waiting area, excellent customer service and my truck passed. We were looking to get my daughters car smogged so we could register it in her name after purchase. It was July 3rd and I was planning to go to another downtown smog spot, but they were closed. We noticed this one was close and open and decided to give it a shot. When we pulled up, there was plenty of parking and the office had a little seating area to wait or you could wait in the parking lot. The staff was super friendly and helpful. We got in and out pretty quickly and the pricing was average for smog in this town. Definitely appreciate this place and would recommend if you are needing a smog! read more

Saw the reviews on Yelp. Thought I give it a try. Very friendly, & quick took less than 20 mins. Great service, not expensive for a smog check. Very happy I came to Best Smog. read more

After our previous go-to smog check place shut down a few years ago, we have been looking for a new spot. I was hesitant to try Best Smog because of the downtown location, but I will keep bringing my vehicles back. They were one of the cheapest places when I needed a smog check last year, the folks were friendly and quick (a serious bonus when you're waiting with an antsy preschooler), and I have since taken my husband's vehicle there for its smog check. read more

Quick and friendly service! I printed out the coupon from their website (must be printed) and saved about $10. I was in and out within 20 minutes. My family and I take all of our cars here for smog checks and never had an issue. Mr. Lee, This is why the review is negative... At the point I decided to bring my vehicle to Best Smog, I was unable to print out a coupon prior to coming. They chose to not accept the coupon off of my phone. My vehicle failed, so I could either take it somewhere else for full price or bring it back to them for a discounted retest. I obviously did the latter. This time I brought a printed coupon with me in hopes that they would either credit my previous smog check or take it off the retest. Why should they care? It hits their bottom line the same, right? Turns out, I was wrong. They wouldn't accept it for either service. I ended up giving my coupon to a guy that had just walked in who also didn't know about the printed coupon rule. Saved him $10 bucks. I get policies and why it's important to have them, but you have to be a little flexible, especially when it comes to dealing with customers, and especially when you get business from places like yelp (which is where I found you). Also, in my opinion, there are not many good reasons to not accept digital coupons for a service nowadays. Nevertheless, Thanks for the reply. I upgraded you to 3 stars. read more

Came on after work for a surprise smog and I was in and out in under 20 minutes! The man was very professional and knowledgeable and kind. The shop and wait area are immaculate. A woman came in after me and the man knew Her family and their car. That tells me something about his capabilities and professionalism! Super duper impressed! I will be back for my oil changes and tire rotations! read more

Great customer service. The young man that works the counter is polite, personable, and knowledgeable. We have used Best Smog for the last 4 smog services needed in our family and will stick with them from now on. read more

Do not go here for a smog! He failed our truck not based on the emissions test which passed with no trouble but a visual inspection where the Cadillac converter had been replaced with an aftermarket stating it wouldn't be as efficient! However it clearly was sufficient or it would not have passed the emissions test?! It passed at another facility a week later with no changes what so ever and to let you know my husband has been a mechanic for 15yrs and was quite mad, he'd never heard of such ridiculousness! By the way he keeps his $47 Avoid! Crooks read more

My husband came here during his lunch and the service was great and they were very nice to him here. They work fast and he was in and out within 15 minutes. They were able to accommodate his busy schedule without even making an appointment (maybe we got lucky and he was able to catch them during a pretty slow hour) but it was still a great deal.
