This place was extremely fast! There was a lot of people waiting in line, but they know what they're doing and once they get you in the line it's pretty quick. After a few phone calls they were able to get me more information about programs to help pass smog by going through the REF.. took a few weeks to get an appointment but I'm happy to say they did a one time waver since I had never done before.. so now I have to see about getting the other repairs done so by the next time it needs smog it'll be ready to go. Until I bought a diesel pickup truck 4 years ago, I had either never kept a vehicle past the age that it needed to be smogged or my other cars were older and didnt require smog testing.. Now why California feels that new model vehicles with diesel engines need to be tested every two years, regardless of their age, is anybodys guess, but I assume its all about the money.. I digress... If you own a car, you will eventually need to get a SMOG certificate. I looked at quite a few Yelp reviews and settled on Speedy Smog. The decision did not let me down. There is a check-in coupon, so check-in when you arrive. I think I paid $50 after the coupon. The employees are efficient and on their A-game. They had good control of the operation and it didn't take a lot of time. There are chairs for waiting and several patrons moved through while I was there.
