This is my second year coming here to get a smog. They are not kidding when they say "speedy smog" I was in and out of there in 15 minutes tops with no appointment. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Staff is friendly and moves with urgency.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Very happy with price and service. This place was extremely fast! There was a lot of people waiting in line, but they know what they're doing and once they get you in the line it's pretty quick. This is pretty close to my house as well. The place I used to go to is all the way out on Rosedale. I will continue to go here. [[HIGHLIGHT]]After a few phone calls they were able to get me more information about programs to help pass smog by going through the REF.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. took a few weeks to get an appointment but I'm happy to say they did a one time waver since I had never done before.. so now I have to see about getting the other repairs done so by the next time it needs smog it'll be ready to go. Until I bought a diesel pickup truck 4 years ago, I had either never kept a vehicle past the age that it needed to be smogged or my other cars were older and didnt require smog testing.. Now why California feels that new model vehicles with diesel engines need to be tested every two years, regardless of their age, is anybodys guess, but I assume its all about the money.. I digress... If you are in need of smog service, this is your place. They are always friendly and efficient. Don't forget to check in on Yelp, as they may still offer at $10 off coupon. My only frustration was they only have 1 bay to smog so it was definitely a long wait for the middle of the day, but the staff was friendly and made the experience smooth. read more

I called yesterday and they gave me a quote for smogging my car over the phone which was the same price I was given when I showed up at the shop. Everyone was very polite and professional and it took me no time at all to get it done. There was a steady stream of cars that came in and everyone was treated equally and with the same amount of attention as the person before. If you own a car, you will eventually need to get a SMOG certificate. I looked at quite a few Yelp reviews and settled on Speedy Smog. The decision did not let me down. There is a check-in coupon, so check-in when you arrive. I think I paid $50 after the coupon. The employees are efficient and on their A-game. They had good control of the operation and it didn't take a lot of time. There are chairs for waiting and several patrons moved through while I was there. Fast, fast service. I have been going here for years with all my cars and I have never had an issue with their services. The facility is what you would expect from a shop that will only keep you there waiting for minutes not hours. There is never a line and the staff is profesional, courteous and straight to the point. Check your registration renewal form and make sure you are in the right smog center some times the DMV will send you to specific smog center. Good luck. read more

This place is one of the best they helped me right away an were very kind, and also really professional they got me in and out in no time at all and i also get ten dollars off every smog from now on since i am a repeat customer one of the workers had also came up to me in the middle of smoging my car and had informed me that one of my hoses had been disconnected an that if they smog it like that it would fail so he said that they can fix it free of charge on the spot and so i agreed to have him fix it my car was done in about 25 minutes they sure did hold up their name! On February, 22 ,2024 I drove my wife 2015 Camry to Smog it for change ownership. The in charged lady she was very polite and interd the information in the computer within 2 minutes and they Smog my wife car within 10 minutes and they took care of my wife car, I told the lady please do not move the drivers seat , she fallows my request and kept the sweet as I requested to be. From the time I arrive to the time i left it took 17 minutes with reasonable price. Thank you Speedy smog for the excellent service. I do recommend this Smog Station to everyone. read more

As the name says, very quick in receiving the customer and doing the check-in. For each vehicle, smog test gets completed in max of 15minutes. I checked in around 11:15 and checked out after billing around 11:45 (as there were 4 cars in front of me). Considering loyal customer, they are providing $ 10 discount and the total Invoice sums up around $50+ tax. Worth the visit. I will come back here every year. read more

I have been a customer of Speedy Smog since 2003.....before they became a full repair shop.....and have always received the best possible service I could hope for not only for smog and repair but also for routine maintenance to keep my cars from needing repair in the first place. The only complaint that I have is that Karmen doesn't always laugh at my jokes enough. read more

We have been using Speedy Smog for about 25 years after finding them to be the best in town. We recently starting using them for maintenance work also. They have replaced timing belts, water pumps etc. in both of our vehicles. They completed the jobs in a timely manner with outstanding results. We highly recommend Speedy Smog for all needed work. read more

Speedy smog is awesome! I had an appointment with the shop next door to them. I arrived for my appointment (on time) and the shop was still closed! Well long story short, speedy smog got me a better deal, and got me right in! The staff was very friendly and knew what they were doing! I recommend them to any one needing a smog!! read more

I brought in my Honda with a BAR certified motor swap and other CARB legal modifications and they didn't freak out and say they didn't want to do it like most other shops i had been too, they took their time to make sure everything was legit and proceed to Smog it. will continue to go here and recommend them to others! read more

I forgot to get a smog check before I went to renew my car tags, it was already 3:30pm and I was worried the DMV was going to close before I could get it done. The smog check was quick, easy, and completed in about 20 minutes. The owner was friendly and even offered cold bottled water on a hot summer day. The waiting room was also very comfortable with excellent air conditioning. I paid $60 for the service, which I felt was fair, especially since my smog certification was due in just two days.
