This is place to visit when you want to chat with the people behind the counter, whether it's because you want a recommendation or because you want them to help you find the perfect bottle for a gift. During my short time in the store, I was cheerfully greeted and showed around, but also left to browse by myself (which, as an introvert, I appreciated). The store is small and cozy, but they have a great selection of wine and other beverages that I haven't seen at bigger places. I ended up getting a bottle of Spanish red wine and a can of local white wine. I like to do that whole high-low thing sometimes, you know? WestClay Wine and Spirits does wine tastings and spirit tastings weekly, sometimes multiple times a week. You can keep up with their schedule on social media. I was encouraged to visit for a tasting, and was told that the tastings are super low-key and fun, and a good way to try something that might be new to me.

It's an Irish spirit called Shankey's. We were happy to find it there. They also have a nice selection of THC/Delta 9 drinks. Probably the best selection I've seen in Indiana. The employees are also SO helpful and welcoming especially when we bring our dog with us! Sometimes there are tastings and samples. It's a fun store with so many options and if they don't have what you're looking for they will try to order it for you.

Then a third one went past and asked if they could help me. I told her what I was looking for and she walked me to it. I am happy she did. She showed me where the help wanted button was that I didn't see and that also wasn't labeled. But since she walked me back and identified it for me it was ok. Then an employee came back and helped me. She was very nice and pleasant and said she would have my order up front at the registers. Even the cashier was both nice and friendly. Each employee I encountered gave me a high level of customer service. I also liked the fact that the store was very neat and clean and very organized.
