We then were told that there were no credits for usage use less that was ordered . Too bad so Sad... The agent told me that I should not have secured the rental at the beginning and paid when we returned the car... I did not see that as an option. Customer service basically saying to bad ... WE HAVE A POLICY FOR NO RETURNS and screw you customer.

So yes, there was a bit of a line at the counter but the employees were so pleasant and the line moved quickly. The car they provided was amazing. really really nice. the return process involved checking in with someone at a kiosk outside. A couple in front of us were taking forever arguing about something so it held up the line. If they had two employees checking cars in it would probably be better.

I had a rental pickup in kalispell and drop off in Missoula, I 100% did not cancel my reservation, they had no more cars and told me I was out of luck. I had to rent through another company on same day which costed way more, and since I couldn't choose a different drop off location without it costing over 1000$. I had to drive 2 hours to missoula, rent a car in Missoula, have my brother drive the other car, then return the rental in kalispell, then drive back 2 hours to Missoula to catch the flight in Missoula. Thanks a lot Alamo, never ever renting from you or recommending you ever.

First time back at GPIA since the massive remodel and wow does it look great…read more.. We haven't been to Whitefish since 2024 when GPIA was under major construction... We flew in this time and it was like we landed on a different planet. The architects and contractors did amazing job with the new airport... It looks like something out of Yellowstone with Taylor Sheridan's handprints all over it. GPIA has that modern "Montana Cool" feel, eccentric architecture, and is much larger than before. The old GPIA was like flying out of a shack in Alaska (or something), but the new airport is 180 degrees. My only gripe is there are still limited flights in/out of GPIA, especially in the winter months (I'm guessing flights pickup during the summer months, which is peak season). United in their usual United fashion once again had flight planning issues, resulting in delays of morning flights out of GPIA... It ended up screwing us (yet again) with a missed connection, so we had a 7+ hour layover in Denver. When flying out of GPIA, it's suggested taking a late morning or early afternoon flight *particularly* if flying United because there's a high probability of early morning delays (apparently United flight planning hasn't mastered basic/simple mathematics because they certainly do not know how to calculate crew rest time, thus causing flight delays) "or" fly Delta. Nonetheless, the new GPIA looks awesome and is a breeze to get in/out of (as long as you're not flying United Airlines).

Due to a delayed flight, we called the Hertz customer service line to adjust our pickup time. Unfortunately, we were connected to an offshore representative who made changes to our reservation -- including adding an extra day by mistake. When we called back to correct it, we were routed to yet another agent from a different country. This time, the representative canceled our original reservation and rebooked it as a new one, causing the price to double since it was now treated as a same-day booking. We weren't even aware of the price change until we received the updated itinerary after the call had ended. Exhausted, stressed, and with our vacation already off to a rough start, I reached out to the local Hertz office in Kalispell and spoke with Debbie P. Despite being extremely busy (I could hear the crowd at the counter), she took the time to listen, promised to call me back -- and actually did. To our immense relief, she was able to correct the entire situation, restoring our original reservation dates and the rate we had initially booked. When we finally arrived after midnight, we were greeted by Debbie herself at the Hertz desk. After everything we had gone through, seeing her and knowing everything had been fixed was such a huge relief. She may have just been "doing her job," but to us, she turned what could have been a disastrous start to a long-anticipated vacation into a positive and reassuring experience. We were told before purchasing protection "everything besides windshield is covered." I spoke with an agent on the phone when reporting the flat tire, and she said "the tire is covered since you purchased LDW." I return to the airport to exchange my car and the worker mentions "Well since this is a tire issue, it is not covered under LDW. Don't worry, it will only be a $75 fee." What????? Come to find out, when I receive my receipt, a TIRE PATCH was $365????? A TIRE PATCH?? WHAT? I am fighting this but the company is not being cooperative. Part of my reply says "The customer must've misheard our worker." Uh no. I was told by two different parties. Absolute scam, stay away.

I've had multiple poor experiences with this airline including canceled flights in the middle of a trip stranded us in unfamiliar locations, poorly communicated policies and very little empathy for stressful situations. I understand travel is expensive but honestly since switching to reputable carriers like Delta, United, Alaska etc and paying more we've yet to have a experience that any of these carriers aren't willing to help fix or even just empathize with the traveler and try there hardest to make it right. Will never travel with allegiant again.

I don't care that this airline is affordable I will never fly them again because of the unprofessional actions of their employee. Shame on them. I take responsibility for not having my documentation but I did provide it in Montana before flying but the employee in California was just a rude person.

The room is super spacious and comfortable with the rustic charm of western comfort! Their Wi-Fi was not working properly and Jordan got it fixed in a minute. Their blanket service is fantastic with super clean and individual plastic cover. Overall this is by far the best "Best Western" I have had the chance to visit. That included a wedding party that was booked somewhere else, that unfortunately had also lost power. Twenty-six needed rooms and Suzanne and her crew made the wedding party VERY happy! I can't say enough about every staff member, but special thanks to Shelia and Cindy for the yummy breakfast buffet! Make sure you leave a big tip, because the breakfast is free .

They have a laundry room and it cost $2.25 to use the washer and/or dryer. The pool is inside and there is a small slide. They also have a small gym. Breakfast. Continental. You can expect hot food selections such as scrambled eggs, potatoes, a protein, oatmeal, and waffles. Cold selections include cereal and yogurt. The only thing I noticed is that they don't replenish some of the items. For example, they ran out of oatmeal and when we asked if they could make more, they said that they could give us instant instead. Which is OK. They also have fresh fruit. Parking is free onsite.

The bathroom was like being outside (temp wise), but it was so cute. The king sized bed had a memory foam topper, and it was BETTER than a tempurpedic! So cozy and comfortable. The pillows were fantastic. TV reception was good, really, everything was great. I'll post some photos later today if I get a chance. We only saw staff in the office once, and that was really just to go say hi, introduce ourselves and meet the dog. We were greeted by Chandler, a very sweet young college-aged man who was friendly, and accommodating when we asked to meet the dog. Our dog just died, so my Granddaughter was all about meeting other dogs, very sweet people. One day I stopped and got a trash bag to empty our cans; we tried to do our best to keep our room clean because our family knows the owners, and we didn't want to burden them with cleaning up after us daily. If you're a no frills person, this is a great, clean, well maintained place to stay. If you're a five diamond hotel person who expects everyone to cater to you, go somewhere else. I'm hoping to go back in the summer. It seems in some rooms they accept pets, which is great! It's a non smoking motel, but the smokers are right outside, so leaving your windows open if you're allergic is not an option.

They also blocked their office phone number for anyone outside the 406 area code, so Instead of getting a pick-up, I was stranded at the airport. * Very long customer service delay. * After the delay, I received a car without snow tires and otherwise totally inappropriate for the snowy environment. I had to return it. * On a later occasion, we were charged $2700 for a small dent incurred AFTER I had returned the car to their unattended lot. Enterprise's excuse was a term in a set of "terms and conditions" not provided to me. Although as a lawyer I know the term probably was unenforceable, Enterprise pursued me for a year, ignoring the questions I had about the claim. In sum, it was just a hold-up. I know from experience that other car rental companies do not act this way. Steer clear!

We also heard in town that this isn't unusual behavior for this location. Will be following up with Dollar corporate and also Orbitz as we've incurred additional costs.

Two days prior to my arrival, I received a call at home in which the manager of the Hertz confirmed with me my reservation and told me that if the train was late they would leave my keys there for me and have me just sign the paperwork and trusted me to leave the paperwork in a box. As we got off the train, I expected there to be no one at the Hertz. But, to my surprise there was a person there waiting for me. As I walk to the counter he knew my name and said that they had been waiting for me to make sure that I received my vehicle. He filled me in on everything in the town and for my trip to Bozeman. I cannot say enough good about these people. They were absolutely wonderful. Five stars!!!
