Two days prior to my arrival, I received a call at home in which the manager of the Hertz confirmed with me my reservation and told me that if the train was late they would leave my keys there for me and have me just sign the paperwork and trusted me to leave the paperwork in a box. As we got off the train, I expected there to be no one at the Hertz. But, to my surprise there was a person there waiting for me. As I walk to the counter he knew my name and said that they had been waiting for me to make sure that I received my vehicle. He filled me in on everything in the town and for my trip to Bozeman. Contacted Orbitz who confirmed that we had 3 hours to pick up rental. I had marked for pick up after 7pm so the rental should've been available until 10pm. Attempted to contact Dollar at 8:31pm and no answer nor was a voice mailbox set up. Once we arrived, I called three times before phone was answered. We also heard in town that this isn't unusual behavior for this location. Will be following up with Dollar corporate and also Orbitz as we've incurred additional costs.

I wish I could give ZERO (0) stars…read more I took a car in to get a timing belt, water pump, and radiator put in. When I got the car back, my battery was fried and the car wouldn't start. I took it back to Acme for them to dink around for 3 months and not find the issue. I then paid for towing myself to Kalispell Toyota (on Acme's recommendation) for them to tell me that the timing belt was not aligned, all of the wiring was incorrectly installed, a few wires were severed, and multiple bolts were completely missing. I was hit with a $1,400 bill for Kalispell Toyota (for fixing all the above issues). Acme gave me a check for $550 after I already paid them $1,800 to install initially and they took no Ownership other than to say that they may have messed up the wiring. TLDR: Acme incorrectly installed a timing belt, I didn't have a car for 3 months and had to end up paying bills to a towing company, Acme, and Kalispell Toyota (Kalispell Toyota fixed the issue) for something Acme initially incorrectly installed.

I am not sure of the name of the person I spoke with (that was overshadowed by his ridiculous attitude), but he was one of the rudest customer service employees I have come across. Firstly, from the start he acted annoyed with me inquiring and asking questions about what they could offer and how much. When I wanted to move from talking about one day to talking about another he would say things like, "well we haven't gotten to Saturday yet" with a sarcastic undertone. When I would repeat myself about something he would rudely say "Yes, that's the information you've given me," again with an annoyed/bothered undertone. He tried to make me feel like what I was asking for was too much and was trying to cut services (that would actually make them more money) when I specifically asked for them. I got off that phone call as soon as I could with my mouth literally wide open. I had to hold back as I really wanted to tell him what I thought about his customer service, or lack thereof, but figured this was a better place to do it. Some advice, if you don't like dealing with people and you find them annoying, you should not answer the phones for inquiries on the business you work for. Maybe another profession would suit you best, one that does not interact with the human race.
