First, upon arrival everything seemed like it was perfect service. Dale, the owner of the facility greeted me with a smile, offered some small local talk, but at the same time reluctantly charged my credit card (saying it didn't process) and then proceeded to charge my debit card for almost $500 (twice the amount of actual rental) which really was no big deal, at the time.
Fast forward to two and a half months later to receive an email from Hertz in Whitefish, Montana about a computer error (on their part), an invoice with a fictitious rental date, plus for some reason I was recharged again (by Hertz) for a third time, then credited (by Hertz), and then recharged again. You really cant make any of this up, it's beyond comprehension.
Frankly, my wife and I have tried to understand how a computer error on their end is our fault, but have been provided no valid explanation or resolution. Ha, this is Hertz calling me now, but I'll post this anyway for all future travelers looking to rent a car in Whitefish, Montana.
