The day it happened was the first day I was sick (real sick) with Covid. I wasn't the driver, my husband was. Bilton picked the car up and within a few hours the owner, Jamie Bilton called me personally to provide an initial assessment of the damage. The insurance company gave me and him some push back, but Mr. Bilton reassured me that they would take care of everything and advocated with the insurance company for an in-person assessor (ultimately 2 came out at 2 different stages of the repair), and when the the insurance company indicated the use of used parts he pushed to get and got new parts to restore my car. Throughout the duration of the repairs, I received weekly updates from Mr. Bilton. Upon completion, Mr. Bilton told me to bring the car if anything was off with the car. A few months later, prior to taking my first major road trip in the vehicle, I called Mr. Bilton to bring the car in to check it out. Upon arrival he was waiting for me, along with his tech, and there was a loaner waiting so that I could run my errands. Truly, I only have great things to say about the people and their service at Bilton Lincoln, because "stuff" happens, but it's how you're treated to lessen the "crap" that matters.

Went to get the mileage off my truck and came back and recommended that I get a fuel filter change I said what % is it at as I already knew. He said 40% left, so I asked then why would I want to replace a filter at 1/2 of its life! Little did I know this was the first strike. Next Im called a couple hours later they found a nail in my tire $35 dollar repair. Mind you these are 10 ply tires with around 3,000 miles on them. I agree to the repair even though I've never seen a 10ply tire leak in 15 years of driving them. He called me back said there is a second nail in tire within 16" of the first and according to state law we cant put two patches on that close together, but we do have a new tire I could sell you in stock. I asked for documents of this law, as I knew that was false. Strike two. Unable to produce this document, I asked for them to put the spare on. When I picked up my truck they rotated one side of my truck but not the other. Drove truck down to Discount tire 1/2 mile away they looked at tire said yes its repairable and this one is only a thumbtack and not leaking. As Discount tire pulled tack in front of me I laughed, strike 3 your out Jones GMC - Discount was able to repair leaking tire/ finish the rotation and put the spare tire back under the truck for $0.00. Bonus! So before your spend the extra money on service at Jones I highly recommend a second opinion and personally, I will never use this dealership again.

There was a rule changed that they can't use outside parts, even though I've gotten same service done and ordered tires from Tirerack and got them sent there over a year ago. Used them with no problems. I asked if I could come back and get my alignment done still. They said yes. Went to Discount Tire to get my tires mounted and balanced and went back to get my alignment. After waiting for some time, they tell me they're not able to do the alignment because they don't have time. Which was aggravating driving back and forth and trusted what they said. Made an appointment earlier in the week to get an alignment. When I got there, they told me they are no longer able to service my vehicle there. I asked why, they said because previous surveys I filled out, good or bad, hurt them. I reckon they have some sort of incentive scale with good surveys. Briefly talked with the owner and said "I'm sorry for being honest in the surveys. I didn't write anything nasty, just what I experienced. Didn't even go off on them why they made my appointment just to turn around and tell me they can't work on my car anymore. I think it's very juvenile and petty to do something like that over a survey and even making my appointment, making me come up there and waste my time. A simple phone call would of sufficed. Wild they confront a customer about a survey/review. I figured constructive criticism would help with the issues they have but they just take offense to it and worried more about bonuses than what the customer complaint is about. The owner did mentioned it wasn't a mom and pop shop, it's a dealership. Well, I understand that and that's why I wrote what I did on the surveys. There's a certain decorum and standard one has to hold. Tried my luck at Toyota, where I used to work at as well, and they were able to get me in and out in about 2 hours. No appointment, no issues, service writers friendly and acknowledge me, even if it was a "be with you in a moment". Some of the things I mentioned on previous surveys: Appointments should mean something. I shouldn't have to wait 3 hours after watching other people walk in without appointments get their vehicle in and go before my vehicle even gets brought in. Communicating with the customer should be like a proper conversation, not shuffling through papers, playing on the computer or phone, walking all over the place when we're in a fixed spot. etc etc TLDR - Don't give a constructive review/survey at Freedom Honda, could get you on a "no work on your vehicle anymore" statement.

We needed to replace asap and found a couple out of state up in the northeast and couple in Virginia (but several dealers were charging a 3k+ "market adjustment" for out of state buyers). There were a couple in NC allocated that we could put a deposit on to reserve but they were weeks to months away from the lot. When I first called Scott Wills they didn't have any but a few hours later one showed up on the lot that was being held for someone who put a deposit a long time ago. The buyer backed out and Terry called me right away. We coordinated by text and talked approximate price and then we drove the 3+ hours to the dealer to buy it the next morning. The whole time Terry was responsive answering all my questions and sent me the VIN so I could get my insurance set up on the drive down. Terry came in on his day off to get us all set. When we got there I didn't realize they had a dealer package that would have been in addition to the price we talked about. Jamie the sales manager and Terry went over all the details with us and went through a half dozen financing options to get our payment where we could afford it. Before you shop here know that they have a standard dealer package that can run up to $3999 (at least for a highlander). That's in addition to the price of the vehicle. Unlike other dealers that charge market adjustments where you get nothing for 3k, this package does include a lifetime powertrain warranty which is easily worth a couple or few thousand. We were in a very desperate situation and had driven hours for this car. They could have really taken advantage of us but they did everything they could to reconfigure the deal and get our payment where we wanted it. I really appreciate both of their support. It's frustrating that it's become so standard for these dealer add ons and final prices being thousands over MSRP. At least this dealer is offering a package with warranty instead of just adding on thousands to the cost because supply is low and they can. Really appreciate Terry and Jamie's support today. Very happy with our new highlander.
