I just spoke with Megan at the Yukon Pawtopia location inquiring about their DIY dog washing. She was extremely helpful and enthusiastic in describing the facilities amenities - shampoo, condition, combs, towels and blow dryer. The only other thing needed is the dog! I am new to Oklahoma coming from South Carolina and have two doodle dogs both of which will be going to Norman location. If the assistance is anything like her, that will be my go-to place for the full nutrition products and, of course, the DIY dog wash. Will update after visit. UPDATE; The visit to this Norman, OK Pawtopia for my two doodle dogs was great. They supplied a safe dog wash tub, shampoo, conditioner, scrubbers, towels, brushes, drying station, and a cleanup after me! I washed the dogs on separate visits and there was a steady stream of customers. No appointment necessary but if all three stations are full, you will need to wait until one is open. read more

Great place for diy dog washing! Everything is provided, and stations are at a height that is easy on your back so you aren't hurting or rushing. My GSD was very clean and felt like a brand new puppy when we left! Be careful of the blow dryers getting too close to the skin. My dog has thick fur that takes forever to dry normally, but the blowdryers are very powerful and work quickly. They could burn if too close, so take your time and don't linger in one place for too long... please learn from my mistake. Staffing was extremely nice, attentive and helpful, the store was a bit crowded physically because they have lots of goodies, all customers seemed happy, parking was easy. read more

I was in the store yesterday in Norman. I try to spend some money there because they are locally owned and not Corporate, such as Petco, where I also shop. I selected some Honest Kitchen Air Dried food for my dog. At the register the young lady gave me a total price that seemed a bit high. I asked her how much the Honest Kitchen was and she gave me a price. I told her it was marked a different and lower price. Feel free to take a look. She walked over (it is a pretty small store). I moved that direction as well. She came back to the register, with an older lady now standing there which would appear to be the Manager. She acknowledged that I was correct it was marked a lower price. However, she said they had raised the price and the price it was marked on the shelf was not correct and she was charging me the higher arbitrary price they seemed to have increased to or made up. Now please understand the difference is between $3 and $4. The amount of money is NOT the issue. The total deceitfulness and dishonesty are the issue. This is wrong in any business. I own some small businesses. I would NEVER do this to someone. Do they decide to ring up an extra few dollars on every customer as they are checking out? This is totally wrong, deceitful, and totally dishonest! I feel these people need serious training in how to operate a business and deal with the public. If you made that mistake, you should own and tell the customer the price has actually been raised but we are certainly going to honor the price we had displayed on the shelf. I would have replied thank you and I appreciate that. As soon as I walked out the door you could have walked over and changed it. You must take responsibility for your errors and your mistakes in a business. I politely told them this was wrong and I do not do business in that manner and left. I will now never walk into that store again. I am in many rescue and animal welfare groups. When their name comes up and I will not have positive feelings nor positive things to say. Trying to upcharge at the register and sneak it through has now cost them hundreds of $ and possibly thousands. Do not cheat customers and people! Pawtopia, I hope in the future you will operate with a MUCH higher level of integrity. Please work to improve and be better read more

This is a pet supply boutique that is local to the area and I always try to buy from local sources when I can. My dog has a bougie diet of Farmina dry dog food and The Honest Kitchen's pour over stews. Other stores carry the pour overs but this is the only place that I know carries the Superfood versions with broccoli, kale and spinach added in. Never mind that it makes me feel pathetic that my dog eats healthier than I do. I like that I can bring my dog in with me. He likes car rides and there just aren't that many businesses that are dog friendly. We are always greeted by the sweetest employees and they usually remember us. I've not tried their self-bath services yet, but I am tempted to see if Teddy would like it. I think he hates bath time no matter where it happens. read more

Took my girl Sadie in for a bath and haircut. Boy was I surprised!! The BEST place in town for do-it-yourself dog washing. The staff was so very helpful. The place was sparkling clean ( very important to me) and the entire setup was geared toward your pets best experience. They provide you with towels, great shampoo in the sprayer, an apron to keep YOU as dry as possible a grooming table and a great dryer. 5 stars aren't enough! read more

Took my dog for a wash today. He hates baths more than any other dog I've ever seen. It was amazing. I received so much help and explanation of things and I'm so so happy we have a place to go back to where he'll actually get clean for once. Ive been buying food, treats, toys, jackets, collars, and just about everything else here for awhile all of which I have nothing bad to say about if I tried and ive had great success with their dog food as well, for my sensitive girls. On top of the best products their employees are so very helpful, talkative, and welcoming. I recently just took my girl in for a bath (im nervous taking her anywhere because of misbehaved dogs and or germs), and and it was the best experience for us both. Where do I begin? Pawtopia changed both my and my dog's lives. Shortly after adopting our rescue, she started getting horrible allergies. After being told by countless people that it was likely just environmental--with management being the only realistic option--we began trying new foods. We were buying new foods from countless brands just desperately hoping something would eventually work. I stopped by Pawtopia one day and explained my situation. I was immediately suggested a number of foods I was unable to find other places. It didn't take long to find a food that completely erased all of my dog's allergy problems. Fantastic place, Raven is helping me find a food for my older Mastiff, very unimpressed by most foods at PetSmart & other places. She gave me samples of several foods they carry so we could find one he liked, HE LIKED ALL OF THEM!!! I am sooo impressed!!! Insanely overpriced. They mark up almost everything they sell, tell you it's 'holistic' and that your pet deserves 'the best'. But 'the best' that they sell is the exact same stuff you can find at PetCo/Mart. And I thought that stuff was marked up enough! Very anti-consumer, and seems pretty obvious that the business owners are either struggling, or are greedy. Neither are a good sign of ethical business practices. read more

My dog was diagnosed with food allergies at about the same time this store opened, luckily, right across from my vet. I was very stressed out, but when I went in to Pawtopia, the owners were so kind to me, and helped me pick a food that had none of her allergens in it.
