I have started taking Teddy here a couple of months ago and we love it. People warned me that they were expensive, but I found their prices to be no different than any other groomer I have taken him to, so I feel price-wise they are reasonable. I love that they are located close to my home. The shop is full of cute dog sweaters, fun toys and snacks. Miss Amy is really good with Teddy. He's old and anxious and she was the one to ask me about his behavior at home and suggested I talk to his vet about possible dementia symptoms. Sure enough, she was right. I knew something was off and couldn't place it and she knew right away. She didn't make me feel bad about it. She just presented the facts of what she saw in the kindest manner and I am so grateful for that. They were awesome! My dog Sasha is a rescue and was nervous, but they were wonderful and very sweet and quick! I dropped her off as close to the end of drop off time as I could (she was still new to us and I didn't want to leave her for too long cause she was so nervous) and they were quick and efficient and she was nice and clean when she came out and not shaky! I will never take my dogs anywhere else! My family has used the Sparkly Spot for the last year and a half for our 2 goldendoodles (we started coming here after a bad experience at our previous groomer) and they have always done a fantastic job! I can tell our dogs were much more comfortable coming here than the previous place, and did not seem as anxious when I arrived to pick them up. When you drop your pup off you get to talk to the groomers about what you would like done or not done and any concerns you have which is great. I love leaving my dogs knowing that they are in familiar hands. I also appreciate that the groomers at the Sparkly Spot keep my dogs looking like doodles instead of poodles, and do the best they can to get the tangles out without resorting to shaving the dog if it is unnecessary. Very pleased with the service and results at The Sparkly Spot. I called on a Monday to make my dog Bella an appointment with the Sparkly Spot. They were able to fit her in on Wednesday morning. The bath/grooming took about 3 or so hours, give or take. Bella has some allergy issues, and the Sparkly Spot worked with her vet to make sure the correct shampoo was used. They went above and beyond in that respect and I really appreciated it. I did not give them any instructions on how to groom her, and she came back looking great. Feet were trimmed, everything was even and they furminated her really well. There was definitely a lot less shedding (if any) in the days after her visit. And, she usually sheds quite a bit. They are clearly experienced with larger dogs (see below) as well as shedders. The price for grooming/bath was $80. Bella is a 75 pound golden retriever, so I thought that was reasonable given the amount of time they spent with her and her size. It's only my first time, but so far so very good with the Sparkly Spot. Glad this place is so close to my house, will definitely be back. read more

My girls (2 Jack Russell Terriers) needed a bath, nail trim, and teeth cleaning. I was able to get them in the same day I called. I dropped off my cute but stinky dogs and the ladies at The Sparkly Spot returned them looking and smelling amazing. The total cost was $40 per dog. Both of the ladies I dealt with were friendly and helpful. I also purchased treats (2 candy corn shaped cookies and 2 cannolis) that my dogs gave 4 hearty tail wags.
