High quality pet needs with great customer service. Feels good to support a local, small buisness.

I normally go to the Glendale or Lakewood locations but this was the only store with availability (should have been a red flag) so I went ahead and took them to see Kelsey. From start to finish, the staff was rude, unprofessional, and completely uninterested in customer service/satisfaction. As a side note plan to get there late since the groomer has to be the one to check you in and isn't available until at or after your appointment time. While doing the hands-on assessment, I was the first one to point out that one of my dogs' tails was ratted up and needed shaved but not a severe matte by any means. This was about a half an inch section mind you this dog is 6 pounds so we're not talking a large surface area. She went ahead and took the dogs back then came up to have me sign the paperwork and mentioned two additional fees, the first being a $10 dematting fee and the other being a $10 fee because there was a previous note that my dog didn't like his nails, clipped or glands expressed which is a behavioral fee. I clarified asking if I would still be charged the matte fee if she was able to just shave the tail and Kelsey confirmed it would be charged regardless. When I went to pick up my dogs, I had walked back to the salon first where she was still working on one of them. By the time I had walked up front to pay the bill and back she told me that she couldn't find a muzzle big enough for his face and even when somebody else tried to hold him, she wasn't able to clip any of his nails, but I was still charged the $10 behavioral fee. I went ahead and paid these additional fees because I wasn't trying to ask for a refund or discount. I did, however, asked to talk to a manager. At that time, a younger gentleman with longer hair came up to me where I expressed that I felt like they were adding these additional charges when I didn't even get those services. He stated that anything over 15 minutes for a matte is required charge and even if one person has to help hold the dog they charge you the extra $10. To me this math is not mathing...there is no way a 1 inch mat on my dog's tail, that was shaved, took more than 30 minutes to clear off considering she was finished with both of my dogs in two hours. And nobody was holding my dog for her more than five minutes while I paid the bill so they are making $10 every five minutes? We will not be back and I suggest Looking to get their dog room save yourself an extra bogus charge and just go to a different location. Also don't forget there is a satisfaction guarantee that PetSmart provides and I am 0% satisfied.

Our dog has…read moresome anxiety and doesn't like his front paws being touched so he gets those "scared shakes" but he does well with the groomers here. We usually just get our dog's nails trimmed and purchase the occasional snack or dog food for him. He especially enjoys the treats after his pedicure! Unfortunately, the last few visits (maybe the last 2-3 months) he's been yelping and right at the start of the trim. We keep our visits every 4-6 weeks so we know his nails are not overgrown and he's a very active cattle dog. Alisha(sp?) explained the yelp was because his front paws were sensitive.. We also tried to clarify we wanted his nails grinded but she said they do both grind&clip, which was confusing. Only negative complaint was that this groomer smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. Everyone is entitled to their hobby/habit, but maybe suggest putting a jacket over & taking off before going back to work, or a perfume to try to cover it up?

We told the representative that our dog was pretty picky with snacks and treats, and we were made sample treat pouches that we could go home and give to him to find what he liked the most. We have never been treated so well in a store before and offered options to take home and try first. This was amazing. While we were at the bonetique, we noticed that there was a dog meet up, which was extremely cute. I definitely recommend chewy's Bonetique. They had many Colorado made treats for dogs. This is an amazing store that many people should check out.

The prices are reasonable, but then again our dog is small and so is his appetite so we don't spend a ton. He has a sensitive system, and he happily eats anything we buy here. Staff are very knowledgeable and friendly, and will answer just about any question you have about dogs and their nutrition. Today was the first time I took advantage of their nail clipping service. It is offered as a walk in service and it will run you 20 dollars with an option to tip. Elias did our dog's nails today, no easy task since he's a little fussy with his feet, but Elias was quick and efficient, and oh so loving to our little old guy. It costs less than our vet and a little more than the big chain pet stores, but Chewy's is located so close to our house that I think it evens out just fine.

Came in to buy dog food, as it's my only reason to come here, they were out of the food I get, so I walked out while googling where the nearest PETCO was. Rather than employees asking if there was something they could help me find, one followed me to the parking lot taking a picture of me and my license and told me they called the police. Because I DONT STEAL I jumped out and followed him into the store telling him to check the cameras at which point the girl that he was too busy playing grab ass with to originally give any sort of customer service, decide to charge out and continually tell me they called the police. I will never come to any PETCO again. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!

I had scheduled a 15 minute wellness check up but when the receptionist asked if I had any concerns, I said yes. Luckily the customer before me never showed up so the vet was able to accommodate me with a longer visit. Before checking my cat, Petco/Vetco stated my cat had to get the rabies vaccine required by law. My cat also was given the bloodwork to test for feline leukemia (negative). Overall I had a pleasant experience with Jazmin Nunez-Mikulin, DVM and her friendly staff. The clinic was clean and organized with the store attached to the clinic. Setting up the appointment online was very easy. The prices are reasonable. There's plenty of parking outside.

Today when I picked him up from being groomed they cut his hair all the way down. The groomer said she checked the notes and this is what they "have always done". WRONG he has NEVER had his hair shaved down. The owner Luke apologized and stated that his health is not affected. Also WRONG Luke! He is an 8 year old black double coated dog and we are heading into the warm summer months. My senior black fur dog just lost the ability to maintain his temperature regulation. What groomer would not know that you are not supposed NEVER shave down a long haired Dachshund as it damages the coat and impairs the dogs ability to regulate temperature. A knowledgeable groomer would know that long haired Dachshunds are DOUBLE COATED and their undercoat protects them from heat in the summer and cold in the winter. A knowledgeable groomer would know that shaving down their fur can damage their permanent coat preventing it from growing back properly. Poor guy it looks horrible and I'm praying that somehow we are lucky and it grows back in without being permanently damaged. This is going to impact my dogs entire summer as he will have to avoid being in the sun. So no long walks or hikes for him. So you are WRONG Luke this is more than cosmetic and goes way beyond my dog looking absolutely horrible. This definitely affects his health and his life. BEWARE AND NEVER BRING YOUR DOG HERE!!!!
