Facebook post about new activity structure

Went around 11am to take my dog to the indoor dog park by getting the $10 day pass. I have never been here before but there was ice and snow everywhere outside, so I wanted my dog to get some fun. I was then told that the "Free Play" time in the indoor dog park is from 4pm-8pm. I repeated that I wanted the "Day Pass for $10" as it is referred to on their website with no specified times. And again he said that yes but that time is from 4pm-8pm and it is still $10. That's fine, but update your website, so that I don't drive on the slick roads out there and have to leave without my dog getting any fun. But the main reason for the 1 star review was the customer service. I was told that I should have checked the Facebook page to see the new "activity structure". When I got home, I checked their Facebook and I attached the post he was referencing and it does not say anything about the day pass becoming a free play time between 4pm-8pm. I looked through their Facebook page and looked through posts all the way back till November of last year and found nothing. The employees made me feel like it was my fault for not knowing and they made me upset walk out because of how little care they had to even interact with me. They must of had something better to do.

Our German Shepherd Abel went to Paws 4 Fun for all daycare & boarding needs from the time he was a puppy to 3 yrs old. We moved to California last year and have yet to find any dog daycare facility that resembles the amazing care Paws 4 Fun offered. Each time we try a new place, I'm reminded how blessed we were to have Paws 4 Fun while living in Lincoln. Abel is HYPER, but they were so patient with him, and he always came home tired after all-day play. They truly took care of our dog as if he was one of their own. Paws 4 Fun is the elite dog daycare/boarding facility, and the reason to why my standards are so high. We wish we could've brought Paws 4 Fun with us to the West Coast. ui

Infected injuries I was not told about when I picked them up

***PET OWNERS BEWARE*** I had been taking my dogs to paws 4 fun for daycare and boarding for about a year now. This is not the same place it was before I dont know what has changed since the beginning of the year but something has and it's been for the worst. The last time I took them there for daycare when I picked them up they were both covered in feces. No one noticed on a white dog and it was dry and caked on. While someone helped me wash them I had left early from work to go to an appointment and that situation ate up all the time I had taken from work. That situation should have been a sign of things to come. A bout a month later I boarded them there for a week and was really disappointed with the condition my dogs were in when I picked them up. They had red marks scuff and scratches all over their pressure points and their tails were rubbed raw like they didn't have anything to sleep on except concrete. Which this place says they provide beds. Not just that but the place stunk more than usual I could see a heavily urinated on bed in the front office and my dogs STUNK as well I had to wash them after I picked them up and that's when I really got to see all the raw spots red patches one of my girls was limping and just how poorly taken care of they seemed. They were super stressed out as well. I felt so guilty. My brother called to see if they'd be willing to make things right somehow and the manager Travis assured him that he would talk to the owner and get back to us to see what we can do but never did. So my brother called again and spoke to Morgan who also wasn't very helpful. I paid A LOT of money thinking my dogs would be treated well. I can only blame the owners who seem to not be able to manage their business properly and professionally so the services they claim to offer are actually what's being provided. I will never go back. I will never leave my dogs there for the day or overnight not even for one night at this place

My dog LOVES going here. He gets so excited when he realizes this is where we are going. The staff recognize him when he walks in.

PSA to all pitbull/bully mix owners - Do not go here!…read more I'm truly beyond words at the treatment we received here, and would not recommend anyone give them business. My dog was suddenly wimpering and having issues moving, so I took her here instead of our primary vet because we were told they had an XRay and could do testing for us. Over the phone before coming in, I let the staff know that my dog wears a muzzle when outside because of her fear reactivity, and she cannot be in a waiting room with other dogs, and specifically described her behavior when scared so they understood, and they said they could absolutely accommodate her. When I got there, we were put in an exam room, and a nurse came in to ask me questions. I provided all her information, vaccination and spay history, her primary vet to contact, me and by boyfriend's names, and answered all their questions. The vet then came in, and looked visibly put off by my dog barking, continously asked me to make her leash shorter because she was uncomfortable being within less than 3 feet of her, and not only looked at my dog with what felt like disgust, but also it felt like I was being shamed as a pet owner because of my dog's reactivity (she is 1.5 years old, and in training to help this.) She placed paperwork and supplies to collect samples from her on the edge of the desk and backed away from us, and then only once tried to ask me for the leash, when she flinched and told me that there was no way we could do an exam on her. We had already discussed sedation to do XRays and I gave the go ahead, but she flat out refused to go anywhere near my dog at this point. While I'm in tears in our exam room, trying to calm down my very stressed and injured dog, she was the farthest thing from empathetic. After this visit, my boyfriend called to get some clarification on why she wouldn't exam the dog, since all other vets we have been to have understood her reactivity and been able to manage her fine, and she said she "couldn't confirm her rabies vaccine" and that she was "too aggressive" (she is a fully muzzled dog, barking, who has her tags for registration and vaccination right on her collar) She was very rude when asked why she didn't try to introduce herself to the dog or speak to her to calm her down, since her fear is of strangers, and her words were "I usually don't talk to dogs because they can't speak back." Once again, I felt she was trying to paint my dog as a rabid animal, and was not at all empathetic to the injured dog I brought in, who again, could not have done anything to her or her staff, because she was fully muzzled. My boyfriend tried calling again, because on top of this we were charged an exam fee, even though they refused examination, and they hung up the phone when we asked to discuss this. He then went to the office to discuss the bill, as we didnt feel it was fair that we pay for a service you declined to give our pet, and didn't treat her with the same standard of care all animals deserve. Instead of speaking to him about this, as soon as he said his name to the receptionist, they threatened to call the cops and let us know we were "fired" as clients. I have never been more heartbroken with how my dog, myself, and my partner were treated in this process, and I would've appreciated honesty through this. Over the phone, the vet tried to tell multiple stories that were compeltely untrue about my and my dog's behavior, and couldn't offer any explanations for her actions. Truly, this situation was escalated out of control by Dr. Vander Broek, and if they were unable to accommodate my reactive dog, they should've said so. I wholeheartedly believe if she wasn't a pitbull mix, we would've had a better experience, but I don't think they had any intention of helping us. If you cannot treat every dog, regardless of their situation with basic decency, you shouldn't be a vet.

Yesterday though my cat was acting very weird and hacking and not eating and just being strange so I called in the tech fit me into the schedule same day. The clinic has changed completely it's very modern now and has little treat dispensers and coffee machine and a water machine and just slick and clean. The techs were very very nice and super accommodating, patient and understanding. Dr Shane was awesome actually came in and assess the situation and then the tech came in which is very different and nice. He shook my hand welcomed me to the clinic and took my cat and did some tests and gave me some directions on what to do next. We also got some more treats at the end for Klondike also came to the appointment just to be moral support for his brother Taffy. I strongly recommend this veterinarian I'm very picky about my clinics and my doctors that I choose. So give them a try!

The motel was given an hour heads-up upon my parents returning to pick up the dogs, to find their legs covered in door feces and soaked in urine. You couldn't even bother to help clean them up even once while they were there??? Their legs were matted with feces!! My parents gave contact information should there be any problems during the dog's stay, but they were never contacted. Upon pickup, the staff said they did great while there. My parents were in shock and rushed the dogs home to bathe immediately and feed as they hardly ate during their stay. My parents had to take the 15 year old, otherwise generally healthy, shitzu to the vet asap the next day as he was very lethargic and almost did not recover from the week's stay at Trude's. Maybe if your dog is large and spends a fair amount of time outdoors normally might you have a decent experience. You would think with a veterinarian on site that they would take more pride in their services. BE WARNED! DO NOT TAKE YOUR PETS HERE IF YOU LOVE THEM!!! If I could give negative stars, I would.

I called Parkview animal hospital because they had a walk-in clinic and the reviews were high. My labradoodle klondike had an ear infection, it was really bothering him and I really needed to get vet care for my fur baby, but no income to lean on. I spoke to Sarah at the front desk, and she gave me a whole list of places that would have ability to help people that need financial assistance for their pets. I had limited time because of my situation and having to wait for my support group to be able to take me to and from the veterinarian. I called back to Parkview animal hospital and Sarah said to come in and get an estimation of how much it' was going to cost and then can you fill out an application so they could hook me up with Sadie's fund who helps with cases like mine, people that need financial help with fur baby needs. Klondike, my labradoodle is my baby, he's my emotional support animal and I would do anything for him He helps me through so much on a daily basis. I wanted to make him feel better and I finally had hope. My peer support person and myself went to Parkview and Sarah was there, she remembered me, she was super nice and welcoming. The hospital is really clean and big and has lots of toys and food and a TV for nature programs. It is a really friendly and comfy environment. Even though it's a big vet hospital, it feels like a small clinic. Ava gave us an estimate and then submitted my application to Sadie's dog fund, and I was approved later that day. The next day we went back to Parkview, and they did everything that was needed, including giving me meds and drops for his ears, they cleaned his ears and did a cytology. Dr Amy was incredible, super sweet, super nice and informative She was even with my stubborn labradoodle klondike, she confirmed the estimate and made sure I knew how much I would owe once the fund was applied. Klondike wanted to hide under the chair behind my peer support person's legs and Dr Amy and Kennedy gave him some Cheerios and he was good to go. I can't tell you how happy I am and how happy he is now and how much they made a difference on our lives. I was treated with respect, care and understanding, Parkview really cares about your furry family, They are communicative, I had gotten a text before the visit that I was approved for Sadie's dog fund and then also received an email with all the vets instructions for Klondike's care, and our receipt from the visit. The experience was more than I could ever ask for. If you need to take your pet to a walk in clinic I strongly recommend Parkview animal Hospital.Thank you for helping me and my fur baby Klondike. You all rock!
