We were very hesitant at first because a lot of reviews I'd read I lie referred to this place as a…read morepuppy mill or purveyor of factory type dogs. We were in a situation where adoption from a humane society or rescue was not panning out (we looked for over a year for the type of dog we needed for our family needs) so we decided to research breeders and puppy adoptions. On a whim we decided to check out the pet doctor as we personally knew a couple of people who knew some of the employees. When you first walk in it does have the feel of the old pet stores you used to see in malls in the 90s with the glass wall and kennels lined against the wall behind the glass with puppies barking and playing, vying for attention from visitors. We spoke to one of be owners upon our arrival and explained our needs. She showed us the last remaining puppy of a recent litter and he was well socialized and healthy. She also explained her experiences with the breed and showed us photos of her own dog of the same breed. She explained the warranty of health and life guarantee. As long as you vet your animal everything seems as expected for purchasing a puppy. We picked him up later in the day as we had other shopping to do around town. Another lady helped us upon pickup and was also friendly and helpful. She provided us with some free food (we also purchased some puppy food) and rubbed some toys we'd purchased on his kennel mate so he would have a familiar scent in his new home. We took him home with validation of health and shot records and he took took to our family immediately. He's potty training well and appears to be in perfect health. He even slept through his first night with minimal whining. The puppies here are not cheap, but not out of line from what people ask on Facebook swap pages or regional newspaper classified ads. Do your research on breeds and average sale prices before making a decision. A puppy of any breed or cost is an investment and you have to be prepared to care for them like a child. We would definitely recommend Pet Doctor to anyone looking for a new puppy for their family.

They claim they will work with you an integrate dog back into home. FALSE-My dog was dropped of by another trainer and when questioned about training she was supposed to receive in regards to destructive chewing, barking, digging etc. she said how she knew nothing about that she worked with her on sit and a stay. But she couldn't even demonstrate my dog had learned that. Not one behavior was improved within the first hr she demonstrated them all on video. Except barking not sure if she barked so much at the kennel or if something else happened to her but she could barely get out a bark. Although she wanted to. She now tries to bite if your work with her on commands and everyone will tell you she was the most cuddly dog before, (employees even made that comment and how loveable she was) As you can see my list can go on and on. My concerns with training were fully expressed before hand and he said if he felt he couldn't make changes with her he would call 2-3 days in and send her back so I didn't waste my money. They gave me false reassurance that I wouldn't be out $1600.

Specifically Willie Dove (owner).I first contacted Willie Oct 12. about service dog training classes for my pup. We had the initial meet & greet and everything seemed to go well. I signed the contract and paid the outrageous amount of $1600. for the 4 week "couch potato" program. At first, Willie appears to be very well spoken & knowledgeable but don't let that fool you. It's all fake. He is the most unprofessional, & unorganized person I've ever had to deal with. When we initially met he had asked me to fill out this questionaire form before we started the program and when I told him I didn't have access to a printer right away he told me he would print it out and bring it to me. He never did. Then he said he would mail it to me. He never did. So now the trust is broken. Our very 1st session was supposed to be Oct. 26 at 9 am. By 9:15 when he hasn't showed I texted him and said you were supposed to be here at 9 and he says oh I'm sorry I thought I had you scheduled for 11. Well that was my turning point. I told him I wanted to cancel my contract & to please refund my money. Well he tried to come up with reasons & explanations to stay on including that his daughter was in the ER the night before with covid- but I had seen enough- I was done. He tried to tell me that there would be no refund once service started but I had to tell him no service has started. Then he told me I was only eligible for 1/2 my money back. Wow! ... so I fired him due to his incompetence & now I feel robbed of $800. As much as I didn't want him to keep that money I signed a contract so that's on me. Fine! Take the $800 and send me my refund. People, it took him until today Jan 18th to FINALLY get my refund and that's after I had to threaten to sue him and take him to small claims court!! He played word games with me and told me he mailed the check- the check was returned, blah blah blah- any excuse he could give to procrastinate and evade paying me back! This company is a FRAUD! He's a FRAUD!! I think he doesn't even own dogs!! His main job is at Forest Lawn cemetery!! If you are looking for a experienced, knowledgeable, & trustworthy company for dog training I HIGHLY recommend United Paws. https://unitedpawsdogtraining.com/ I can't begin to tell you the hell and agony it took to get my refund. In the end, after threatening to sue him, he finally sent my refund through a cash app program and it took him all of 3 seconds to send it. I called Parkview animal hospital because they had a walk-in clinic and the reviews were high. My labradoodle klondike had an ear infection, it was really bothering him and I really needed to get vet care for my fur baby, but no income to lean on. I spoke to Sarah at the front desk, and she gave me a whole list of places that would have ability to help people that need financial assistance for their pets. I had limited time because of my situation and having to wait for my support group to be able to take me to and from the veterinarian. I called back to Parkview animal hospital and Sarah said to come in and get an estimation of how much it' was going to cost and then can you fill out an application so they could hook me up with Sadie's fund who helps with cases like mine, people that need financial help with fur baby needs. Klondike, my labradoodle is my baby, he's my emotional support animal and I would do anything for him He helps me through so much on a daily basis. I wanted to make him feel better and I finally had hope. My peer support person and myself went to Parkview and Sarah was there, she remembered me, she was super nice and welcoming. The hospital is really clean and big and has lots of toys and food and a TV for nature programs. It is a really friendly and comfy environment. Even though it's a big vet hospital, it feels like a small clinic. Ava gave us an estimate and then submitted my application to Sadie's dog fund, and I was approved later that day. The next day we went back to Parkview, and they did everything that was needed, including giving me meds and drops for his ears, they cleaned his ears and did a cytology. Dr Amy was incredible, super sweet, super nice and informative She was even with my stubborn labradoodle klondike, she confirmed the estimate and made sure I knew how much I would owe once the fund was applied. Klondike wanted to hide under the chair behind my peer support person's legs and Dr Amy and Kennedy gave him some Cheerios and he was good to go. I can't tell you how happy I am and how happy he is now and how much they made a difference on our lives. I was treated with respect, care and understanding, Parkview really cares about your furry family, They are communicative, I had gotten a text before the visit that I was approved for Sadie's dog fund and then also received an email with all the vets instructions for Klondike's care, and our receipt from the visit. The experience was more than I could ever ask for. If you need to take your pet to a walk in clinic I strongly recommend Parkview animal Hospital.Thank you for helping me and my fur baby Klondike. You all rock!
