From what I read, Mango loves the sitter! It's impressive to me because Mango is a very shy cat and very hesitant to go near strangers, especially anyone who is loud. My sitter, Lisa, must be sweet and soft-spoken for Mango to love her. I feel guilty about leaving Mango when I'm gone, but I'm put at ease by using a sitter. I don't have much experience with hiring pet sitters, but I don't think I could ask for a better one right now. She even sent me a handwritten thank you note for the tip I left her. The reason I only gave this 3 stars is the price. They charge $36 a day PER DOG!! The last kennel we used gave a discount for a 2nd dog in the same family and I wish they would consider something like that. We dropped them off on a Thursday morning, had our daughter pick them up on Sunday at noon because they charge by the hour, and our bill was $259. I also tipped Lori $40 since she only gets a portion of what the company collects. Darn near cost as much as our hotel stay in Chicago for 3 nights! Janis

Had an excellent experience with Parkview animal hospital. I searched for a vet that could help…read morewith my low income situation, as I have mental illness with disability and am on Medicaid. I called Parkview animal hospital because they had a walk-in clinic and the reviews were high. My labradoodle klondike had an ear infection, it was really bothering him and I really needed to get vet care for my fur baby, but no income to lean on. I spoke to Sarah at the front desk, and she gave me a whole list of places that would have ability to help people that need financial assistance for their pets. I had limited time because of my situation and having to wait for my support group to be able to take me to and from the veterinarian. I called back to Parkview animal hospital and Sarah said to come in and get an estimation of how much it' was going to cost and then can you fill out an application so they could hook me up with Sadie's fund who helps with cases like mine, people that need financial help with fur baby needs. Klondike, my labradoodle is my baby, he's my emotional support animal and I would do anything for him He helps me through so much on a daily basis. I wanted to make him feel better and I finally had hope. My peer support person and myself went to Parkview and Sarah was there, she remembered me, she was super nice and welcoming. The hospital is really clean and big and has lots of toys and food and a TV for nature programs. It is a really friendly and comfy environment. Even though it's a big vet hospital, it feels like a small clinic. Ava gave us an estimate and then submitted my application to Sadie's dog fund, and I was approved later that day. The next day we went back to Parkview, and they did everything that was needed, including giving me meds and drops for his ears, they cleaned his ears and did a cytology. Dr Amy was incredible, super sweet, super nice and informative She was even with my stubborn labradoodle klondike, she confirmed the estimate and made sure I knew how much I would owe once the fund was applied. Klondike wanted to hide under the chair behind my peer support person's legs and Dr Amy and Kennedy gave him some Cheerios and he was good to go. I can't tell you how happy I am and how happy he is now and how much they made a difference on our lives. I was treated with respect, care and understanding, Parkview really cares about your furry family, They are communicative, I had gotten a text before the visit that I was approved for Sadie's dog fund and then also received an email with all the vets instructions for Klondike's care, and our receipt from the visit. The experience was more than I could ever ask for. If you need to take your pet to a walk in clinic I strongly recommend Parkview animal Hospital.Thank you for helping me and my fur baby Klondike. this business is trash my sister took her cat here and they told her to switch the cats diet…read morebecause he was eating too much despite being a normal weight for his size, he proceeded to poop everywhere and then when she took him back they said he was underweight she ended up going back to what she was feeding him before and he went back to normal. her cat had a tooth infection they did not tell her about which she found out from a different vet after not trusting this one, she also spent hundreds on bloodwork which they have no record of. when discussing this her former roommate chimed in that one of their friends took their dog here over vacation and it died while they were out of town! he said they were not notified about it until they went to pick up their dog. if you want proper care or just to see your pet again i'd consider going somewhere else for your animals veterinary needs.

Have used grooming service twice before and was very happy with the results. So made an appointment online for Sept 27th. Got email saying "can't accept" reservation. Called and made appointment for 30th of Sept. I was told I would get a text confirmation. No text came. Called again to confirm for grooming appointment because it was next day. I was told it wasn't in the system but might be in the appointment book in a different building. Then i was told appointment was for the following week on Oct 7th. Had to reschedule and called to cancel - then got some "service" that wasn't even on site of the facilities. They didn't even see any appointment? Then I get a call back asking if I still wanted to cancel the appointment? I was told there must have been a "miscommunication" - like I was the one to blame for their ridiculous booking appointment so-called "service" Already have appointment with a different grooming provider. Very disappointed. My dog liked the groomer.

She asked for my children to be present and ready to learn, but also asked to have a back up plan (baby sitter) because kids can be "needy". Instead they were on their electronics the whole time in their room while my husband and I spent 2 hours listening to her talk our ears off. We had to reschedule a 4 o'clock appointment because of her family matter, which I understand. She had us rescheduled for a 6 o'clock appointment. I explained to her that late in evenings are hard for me, and earlier would be better. I had a brain aneurysm and i struggled mentally when I am tired. She wasn't flexible The only reason I am giving 2 stars, is because she did give us a few helpful tricks that could have taken 10 minutes vs. 2 hours. She should have included my kids.

Through private lessons at our home, Linda was able to educate, model, and practice training skills with each person in our family. She was able to observe our different levels of understanding and styles, our interactions with our puppy, Otis, and see the environment in which we live. She respectfully and supportively instructed us in specific moments of interaction and became a valuable resource for our entire family. Linda has years of experience and education, and shares her knowledge in a respectful and considerate way. Linda has accompanied us on a training journey that continues to evolve. We now have plans for Otis. We think about his needs, and consider him, completely differently than we had before working with Linda. We continue to learn, and Linda continues to be available with a genuine interest and love for what she does. In Relation with Dogs is much more that a puppy or dog training course. It is an opportunity to consider a new approach animal (and human) behavior. Linda inspires us to develop positive relationships, establish new habits or modify behavior patterns, and consider that positively reinforcing behavior, certainly doesn't just apply to dogs.
