Our dog stayed there recently and best we can tell she was not let out to potty and we had to wait almost an hour for someone to show up in order to pick he up. There were 2 other pet parents waiting also and the person that showed up had no clue, was only there to feed the boarders.

I figured there would be a smell, we are talking about animals, but the stench of urine in the play area is so strong we barely lasted 10 minutes. I have never experienced this strong smell at the vets or the groomers. Perhaps better ventilation would help. Or more thorough cleanings? I'm not sure I do not know what they do to keep the place sanitary but it's not working. Upon arrival with our puppy and two kiddos, we were told right away that because we had children with us he could not play in a room with other dogs for liability reasons. This makes sense but we were not aware of this rule and honestly it defeats the purpose for us. We want him to have interaction with other dogs, but also to be able to be available to play and protect him. In fact, they recommend that children do not come at all. If you do venture here, I suggest bringing your own toys and possibly a bowl or some kind of way to give your pup a drink. They provide bags for picking up poop. There were a couple of balls in the room, but they were wet and disgusting. The staff we met were very kind, and I hate to leave a review like this, but we will not be back. They do offer babysitting and grooming and have self grooming stations. Tucked right off of O street near the Asian Community Center. You also must provide vaccination records before playing. The vet was able to fax it over right away for us.

If you read most but not all the other reviews, they are written by people who had not even seen the dogs improvement and were like me hopeful for results. Yes Mr. Dove is enthusiastic and very good at convincing you otherwise. However his many yrs in business-FALSE maybe working with friends dogs but has less then 1 yr as a NE registered business. He claims to be BBB accredited-FALSE Not only not accredited he has to unresolved complaints soon to be 3. They will spend all these hours working with your dog-FALSE They spent 2 hrs a day. After receiving a log the first day via text messages of services times. And the kennel is almost to Lincoln so someone isn't even available at all times to address issues as they arose. They claim they will work with you an integrate dog back into home. FALSE-My dog was dropped of by another trainer and when questioned about training she was supposed to receive in regards to destructive chewing, barking, digging etc. she said how she knew nothing about that she worked with her on sit and a stay. But she couldn't even demonstrate my dog had learned that. Not one behavior was improved within the first hr she demonstrated them all on video. Except barking not sure if she barked so much at the kennel or if something else happened to her but she could barely get out a bark. Although she wanted to. She now tries to bite if your work with her on commands and everyone will tell you she was the most cuddly dog before, (employees even made that comment and how loveable she was) As you can see my list can go on and on. My concerns with training were fully expressed before hand and he said if he felt he couldn't make changes with her he would call 2-3 days in and send her back so I didn't waste my money. They gave me false reassurance that I wouldn't be out $1600.

Specifically Willie Dove (owner).I first contacted Willie Oct 12. about service dog training classes for my pup. We had the initial meet & greet and everything seemed to go well. I signed the contract and paid the outrageous amount of $1600. for the 4 week "couch potato" program. At first, Willie appears to be very well spoken & knowledgeable but don't let that fool you. It's all fake. He is the most unprofessional, & unorganized person I've ever had to deal with. When we initially met he had asked me to fill out this questionaire form before we started the program and when I told him I didn't have access to a printer right away he told me he would print it out and bring it to me. He never did. Then he said he would mail it to me. He never did. So now the trust is broken. Our very 1st session was supposed to be Oct. 26 at 9 am. By 9:15 when he hasn't showed I texted him and said you were supposed to be here at 9 and he says oh I'm sorry I thought I had you scheduled for 11. Well that was my turning point. I told him I wanted to cancel my contract & to please refund my money. Well he tried to come up with reasons & explanations to stay on including that his daughter was in the ER the night before with covid- but I had seen enough- I was done. He tried to tell me that there would be no refund once service started but I had to tell him no service has started. Then he told me I was only eligible for 1/2 my money back. Wow! ... so I fired him due to his incompetence & now I feel robbed of $800. As much as I didn't want him to keep that money I signed a contract so that's on me. Fine! Take the $800 and send me my refund. People, it took him until today Jan 18th to FINALLY get my refund and that's after I had to threaten to sue him and take him to small claims court!! He played word games with me and told me he mailed the check- the check was returned, blah blah blah- any excuse he could give to procrastinate and evade paying me back! This company is a FRAUD! He's a FRAUD!! I think he doesn't even own dogs!! His main job is at Forest Lawn cemetery!! If you are looking for a experienced, knowledgeable, & trustworthy company for dog training I HIGHLY recommend United Paws. https://unitedpawsdogtraining.com/ I can't begin to tell you the hell and agony it took to get my refund. In the end, after threatening to sue him, he finally sent my refund through a cash app program and it took him all of 3 seconds to send it. I don't normally write reviews but I don't want anyone else who love their pups to go through this!! TURN AROUND & RUN!!

I have usually had very good service at Petco and took advantage of their Petco rewards etc…read more I tried their Vet clinic for my new cat. After my first visit the suggested I pay for a fecal lab test so so I had to do was drop off the sample. Great! I had scheduling difficulties, illnesses and had to cancel a scheduled appointment for to the vet bring ill. During this time I decided to just take my cat to my regular vet. I caked Petco for a refund. The told me they would have to submit a request for a refund and they would let me know. I received a call from the Lincoln office manager, who informed me that she would have to submit a request but she didn't think they would approve the refund. I was not happy and told her I wasn't asking permission for a refund I was telling them I wanted my money back. She then told me that in order to get the refund I would have to show up in person with my ORIGINAL receipt. She was not kind on how she spoke to me. And I said I don't think I have it, just could she at least submit the request. I also said that they never told me when I prepaid that I might not get a refund. They have everything in the computer so why do I need a receipt? She then told me that I should have read the refund policy on the bottom of the receipt I'm so glad that I found out how corporate this place is... I made a terrible mistake thinking they actually cared about my pet. I don't believe they do...I think it's just another was for a big corporation to make money in disguise of pet care. They got my money so I will take my cats stool sample in and that will be the last dollar Petco ever gets out of me. I will not even buy dog and cat food from them anymore.

I have mixed feelings about this Petco. I recently got into the betta keeping hobby, and have been…read morehere a few times now to collect supplies when I need them right then and there. The biggest pro I can find is that most of the employees I've interacted with have been incredibly polite and helpful. In my most recent visit I was back in the fish area for a while and an employee walked by me a few times but never said anything, no hello or could they help me find anything. However, like I mentioned, all the other employees have been friendly and courteous. The downside to this location is that it seems like the bare minimum is done to upkeep the aquarium area. (I can't comment on other pet sections being as I don't shop in them or use them.) Every time I go in I like to stop and see the bettas, and have even purchased one here. There are quite a few that are obviously dead, and have been sitting in the display for a while since I've seen the display change when they moved moss balls to show new baby bettas. However, I do like the selection of bettas they do have, and felt more confident buying one here than at supermarket fish sections. Another time I went in to purchase a snail and the employee asked if I knew which one I wanted because most of them were dead. I don't understand then why the dead ones would be kept in the tank, littering the gravel bottom. The saltwater tanks were dirty and empty, and there was still stock being left in the aisles. The live plant section also had stock that was clearly dried up and dead. I understand that a lot of live things might not have a long shelf life, but they should be removed once it's obvious they're not with us anymore. This location needs more employees per shift. I've had to walk around the store for a few minutes just trying to find someone, going so far to ask another customer if they've seen an employee walking around to help me get a fish, and even then they were running around everywhere trying to help multiple people at once. They also only let managers help when picking up online orders, meaning you might have to wait while one has a spare moment to help. Each time I've come in there's only been one cashier working. I feel that there'd be less disorganization and uncleanliness if more employees were present. The prices are for the most part reasonable, though it's always a good idea to go online and order to pick up in the store since I have noticed the prices tend to be a bit lower online. I'll probably keep coming here since it is the closest pet store, but I do hope improvements are made to not only the live animal sections, but to getting the store more employees to lighten the load for the ones already there.
