And special shout out to the maintenance guys, Marvin and Jonathan. They are extremely hard working and friendly people! Overall I would recommend living here to anyone. I have been here for about 2 years. The staff has always been helpful, including office management and maintenance. Any issue I have ever had has been fixed within a couple days even lower priority things. I have lived in a handful of apartment complexes and this is by far the best experience. With any apartment complex of its age there will always be things that come up but it's how they respond to it that matters and I feel taken care of here. I would recommend this place. The only thing I have an issue with is how dirty it was when I moved in. And if third party maintenance comes in they never clean up after themselves. This is such a minuscule thing. We have it so good in this country. Go apply and rent here. read more

Cons: Place was not move in ready when my boyfriend moved in here, he had to wait to move in until 4pm because they were "cleaning" which was absolutely incorrect because the cleaning company they had left the apartment a mess - tub was peeling and covered in paint from the walls being "painted" they never cleaned it up so it stained the tub permanently. Dish washer had left over food and smelled consistently of rotten eggs. Sprinklers were rotting out of the ceiling; AC in his apartment went out the week after he moved in and the maintenance company said he was not obligated to tell any issues. Cops seem to be here every month at least two times a month if not more from what I have seen when I have visited him on the weekends. Came over to hang out and go to a friends for dinner and a woman was attacked by another resident while walking her dog, throwing rocks at a gentleman's new truck and running around licking poles and saying she had "covid". Definitely not what you would expect for the area, however there have been a few sketchy people. Pros: the layout of the apartment was very spacious which is why the three star rating. Office staff seemed very polite at times even when I spoke to them as a visitor, good place to live if you aren't expecting much and want cheap rent in Glendale. if I could give 0 stars I would. our rent started at no more than 1400 a month including taxes and fees, over the course of the first year and then renewing our lease for a second year, we ended up paying close to 1800$ a month in random fees and taxes that just show up as " tax " on the rental payment app, with no further explanation.When we first moved in, we had to wait to even get the keys because they didn't clean until THE DAY OF. The stove did not work upon move in and neither did the heat or hot water which resulted in us having to shower in cold water and then freeze the entire night until maintenance came the next day. the stove light constantly just stops working. The ceiling fan in the bedroom was hanging on by a THREAD and couldn't be used because it could potentially fall on us if the speed is on the highest level, which maintenance was supposed to fix but looked at it and never did. The dishwasher overflows constantly and before we left it actually ended up breaking while using it ( along with the garbage disposal that ALWAYS broke ) because the hose connected was so old it just broke off which flooded our entire kitchen and dining room and also under the sink. The wood started to break and under the sink had horrible water damage. When maintenance did come they simply just taped it back on and glued the wood back together, the also just glued the open toilet pipe piece back on. The " valet trash " doesn't even pick up your trash half the time, because it's either sitting next to the trash can instead of in it or they don't want to walk up the steps to check for trash but rather look from the bottom steps and or just look from their vehicle and keep driving. The clubhouse isn't even available for residents to use, it's more so a showroom for potential new residents. Everything in the apartment is extremely outdated, the bathtub knob ended up breaking from just turning it and only scorching hot water came out so none of the people in my household including my small child could WASH THEIR BODY until it was fixed and when I put in a maintenance request the front office manager told me my issue wasn't an emergency and I would just have to wait until they come fix it. When maintenance came to fix it which WASNT THE NEXT DAY, they informed us that the knob was ( excuse my French ) OLD AS FUCK, and it broke because it hasn't been replaced or updated for quite a bit of time. There's new people in the front office constantly, they can never seem to keep employees, and frankly If I keep going it'd be too long. Just ugh don't even bother. read more

The worst customer service experience I've ever had.. the receptionist at the front desk is rude and unprofessional. I came to my scheduled appt 4 mins late, she did not allow me to do the tour with her. I explained that I work and that was the only time I can come in. FOUR MINUTES!!!! Even if I had a meeting with the president of United States I doubt he would mind.. but this girl was on a power trip!!!! Also, we could've walked fast to finish on time but nope.. I will be contacting corporate because regardless of how the property is the staff at this location will make it for people to not want to live there. I'm truly disappointed at how I was treated. I feel bad for the owners of this property because they allow people like her to be the face of their company. read more

THIS COMPLEX IS SHIT!!!! I am a mom with a 4 month old baby. This complex does not respond to maintenance orders in time, even when it's an emergency. You pay for pest and so much stuff when you first start leasing with them. I don't think I've ever seen pest control once and the orders I put in to have my apartment fixed from the previous residents have still yet to be fixed. No point anymore. I just wanna gtfo. You have to wait days for them to come out to fix even emergency orders. The employees will tell you one thing and the manager will tell you something different. Get better training. Their systems to pay rent are garbage and will leave you paying extra fees at the end of the day. DO NOT MOVE INTO THIS COMPLEX. You will regret it. I'm going to celebrate my lease ending. BEWARE OF THIS COMMUNITY The Pavilions at Arrowhead who is managed by Avanti Residential has been a complete disaster since accepting our apartment keys and signing the lease. It is very clear and unfortunate that the office staff on site "LACKS" professionalism, positive attitudes, and overall unwillingness to care for residents within the community. Nevertheless, this still does not excuse the fact that the Assistant Manager (Miriam) along with the Community Manager (Dana) robbing residents money by adding fees that do not apply to the individuals. I hate to leave bad reviews but I have lived here for 8 months now and all I can say is the office and the people that work in there are very rude and I have try to contact them multiple times they never answer and haven't came and fixed anything I asked for, the things i wanted to get fixed it has always been there since I have moved in and nobody is doing anything about the situation, for the past months I been having an issue with all type of bugs coming inside the house but i also contacted them about that I finally gotten an answer from them and they said they will come and see what they can do but they never came and every time i call they don't come this is unacceptable, the service is terrible!! read more

We have been charged for a late fee for something wrong on their system and wasn't in our hand. After many tries, we paid the rent on 2nd Oct at 12:48AM. I called the management to explain what happened after we tried to pay the rent but the system didn't went through and we got error messages, the management said that "You have to pay that fee". The management here is just trying to hunt any chance to rip you off. I would never recommend this place to anyone! read more

After reading the recent reviews I am glad I am not the only one who had horrible experiences with Miriam in the front office. She is one of the many reasons we decided to leave this property after 2 years of being great tenants. Clean, quiet, and always on time with rent. Again, we had many horrible experiences with Miriam but things got even worse at the end of our lease. It first started with signing the 60 day lease end agreement. 1st she claims to have called me to remind me before the 60 days which DID NOT happen which I can prove with phone records. I got a call from Mariam 3 days after it was due asking me why I didn't sign it to which she rudely replied well I told you and you need to sign now or we'll charge you. Already frustrated I headed to the front office immediately after I got the call the sign it and went in and completed the documents. Come to the end of our lease things got even worse. We signed a lease for end date of May 16. They first billed us for the whole month of May. When we said that was incorrect they tried billing through the 19th which was still incorrect. When we asked about it they said they're charging for the days we didn't sign the 60 day paperwork. Are you kidding me!? We even advised Miriam that the 3 days would add to the 18th not 19th and she disagreed saying they don't count the 31st of March. I've tried reaching out to BH management multiple times with no response. Come 3 weeks later they're sending us an unexplained bill for $97 owed. No one can tell us why we owe this "we just do." This place is a nightmare. Stay away. You've been warned. read more

This complex is deserving ZERO star. I cannot stand any more after living here almost five years. so I can't wait for my lease to be up. A lot of things should be mentioned here for anyone thinks to move here. Takes forever for any issue to be fixed, the AC unit had a lot of issues for more than two years before finally replacing it. Also on 2019 the transformer of the Kitchen's florescent has been burn out, when I asked the management to send the maintenance to fix it, they told me "It is your responsibility to buy a new one and install it", and I bought a new one and installed it (Thanks for God as I am HVAC and controls system Technician) Once I put bad review on that, management called me immediately just to remove the bad review and I did it. upon this case if you want to move here you should have electrician experience to do the maintenance by your hand and do not forget to buy the proper tools for that. Car wash and the vacuum are not working long time ago. whenever talk to management about that they said that "We will fix it soon but we need to buy some parts for it" what kind of part that took over a year and they didn't find it...!!! Add to that Dogs poops are everywhere. Terrible place to live and not worth the ridiculous cost. read more

Moved in Nov 2020. The unit was not move in ready. Apartment had grimy sliding door handle. Dirty window tracks. Clothes washer was leaking and dryer hose was torn blowing dust when turn on. Parking was a nightmare. If you weren't lucky enough to have covered parking, you were left to find a parking stall that was also available to guests. Often having to park on the opposite side of the office. They did re-striped some parking spots for smaller cars creating 1 extra spot even though the tenan'ts cars didn't shrink, so you would have door dings. Individual units were allowed to have multiple covered parking stalls. So if you are a new resident good luck. Would not recommend an Avanti property. read more

Pavilions at Arrowhead Apartments is now under BH Management, and has changed hands not in a good way. Me and my girlfriend came to look at a 1X1 and was told there was none to show at the moment but we could move in within a week if we signed for something we were unable to look at. Miriam took us through a 2x2 and was very unprofessional from the start. I felt like she treated us unprofessional from the time we walked through the door as we were never greeted in a friendly way or even introduced herself until the end of the viewing. Told us it's the same floor plan as the 1x1, but no second bedroom....I have called the upper management, Regional Managers, etc and nobody has got back to me on viewing what I would care to live in. I shouldn't have to climb a rope to reside here, pass or it will be an endless nightmare dealing with these non motivated individuals. read more

We lived at the Pavilions for two years. There's a lot good about this complex. The apartments are well-designed with a very unusual amount of windows and therefore natural light. Many apartments (including ours) have great views. The grounds are well-tended (although not as well-tended under the owners who took over in 2016 as they were when we first moved in). The office staff is friendly and tries to be helpful. The big problem that drove us out of the complex was the maintenance staff. Calls for maintenance took weeks to resolve. We also had billing and accounting issues from the time the new owners took over until after we had moved, rarely getting a bill for the actual amount of rent we owed. Bottom line--nice place to live if nothing ever breaks. read more

There is too much wrong with this complex to go into detail. Ground keepers & maintenance crew are good guys! Very helpful and friendly when you need something fixed! Office ladies ... another story. If you decide this is the place you want to live, hopefully you will never need anything from the manager. Miriam is on a whole new level of nasty. Hangs up on you, talks back to you, will deny anything that could be wrong, will send you to "corporate" for anything you need(and you will never hear back from corporate after multiple calls/voicemails)... I can go on and on. The best part is when we woke up to a maintenance man in our living room with no notice, not even a phone call or email. Denied, she "left a notice on our door." After making a big deal about waking up to a strange man in our locked apartment(no fault of his own) guess what I got the next time they needed in our apartment? A notice. Hmm.. funny. You think the apartments are already over charged? Wait until you move out and they send you a very large bill but will not give you a written break down, you have to call for it to be given over the phone so you have no record of it. Do not move in here. Unless are okay with unannounced strange men in your living room, outdated/old appliances, small surprise charges, being hung up on, being charged without breakdowns, and more drama than you thought possible for moving in/out of a small apartment. I lived here 2 years and only started having trouble near the end when I had to start dealing with Miriam. Miriam needs to be fired. Read through all reviews, look at the one thing they all have in common. Please do not move here. read more

I lived here for 5 years and do not recommend it. There are a list of things that have gone on over the years so here are a few: A homeless man was sleeping in my boyfriends truck during the nights (he did not drive his truck often so we are not sure how long this went on but it came to our attention as he began to leave items behind in the truck), my boyfriend encountered a man smoking a crack pipe in the gym, his car was broken in to and ransacked (separate encounter from homeless man in truck), my neighbors would physically assault each other, there was dog poop all over the community, my neighbors balcony below us was full of dog poop and pee that would stink up the whole area, our AC unit leaked significantly and was never fixed after dozens of requests. We left the place in good condition and were charged $300 for a carpet that would be ripped out anyway. read more

I've been living at these apartments for just about two years and I can say I would not reccomend, nothing but bad experiences with management and maintenance. 10 months into my second lease, management reaches out to us saying we need to pay a 500 dollar deposit. why wait the 10 months? we did everthing right when signing the second lease. with our first unit we leased here about 3 months into the lease, the maintenance guy left the spare key the apartments have for our unit in our lock. I got home and the key was in our lock. anyone could've gone into our home while we were gone. we kept it becuase of how irresponsible that was of them to do. management had no idea they had no spare key until they had their cooperate walk and asked us for our key so can make a copy. before our first lease was close to ending we reach out to management to extend it for a few month while we looked for a home. no response from management at that time. when we finally get a response from management they tell us we need to move out of the unit becuase they had signed a new lease to someone else, this was all in December during the holidays. becuase we had less than a week to move we decided to move to a different unit. both units had issues with the dryer as they dont have maintenance do preventative care on appliances. in both units that we've had the fire place has not works and maintenance was unable to fix the fire place at the first unit so we never bothered with trying to get the fire place fixed for the second unit. after living in two units at these apartments I can say without a doubt I will not be staying here another year. If your looking for an apartment near by I don't recommend these. try the newly built apartment across the road form these. read more

I have lived her for over 2 years and I have no complaints about the staff or grounds. They take very good care of the grounds and any service needs you have. The maintenance crew recently went above and beyond their call of duty and not only helped me with a blown out tire, took me to Discount Tire to get a new tire and proceeded to put the new one on for me. The office staff at this complex are the worst. They are friendly until you sign the lease then they speak to you like you are an idiot and beneath them. They do not give proper notice to the tenants regarding anything and only send out notice if enough people complain to them. They advertise Amenities like a fire pit that does not work and hasn't from what I have heard for several years, a heated spa that the only half the jets work half the time, night patrol that if they show up, on the weekends only, sit in their car on their phones, and a poolside clubhouse that you are not allowed to use every because the office staff uses at their break room, Garages you can rent but half of them are occupied by the maintenance crew so there are never any available near your apartment. read more

My husband and I have lived here for about 2 1/2 years. When we first moved in they were Mark Taylor apartments and we had zero complaints! About a year after living here Shelton Cook took over the property and it was all down hill for the next year. The office manager Annett and the receptionist Monique made the experience anything but pleasant. They were extremely rude and made it clear they had no interest in helping you. When it was time to resign our lease I had gone into the office everyday for 2 weeks prior to our end date to see if our new lease was ready to be signed. Monique made it very obvious that I was annoying her and kept saying "I will call you tomorrow when the lease is ready" however the calls never came which is why I continued to go into the office. Finally two weeks later on the day our lease would end me and my husband went in again to see what was going on but this time we spoke to Annett the manager. She got on the computer and said it was our fault the lease wasn't signed because she had already sent them out to our emails a week prior (which was interesting because neither of us received an email and I had made it very clear when I went in that I didn't want to E sign I wanted to come in because there were a few services we were looking to add to the lease so we wanted to talk face to face.) So Annett gets on the computer and starts asking us questions about our lease saying she's pulling it up but "I do apologize our system is being so slow today it doesn't want to pull up your lease" but in reality it hadn't even been created yet (or sent to our emails) because they decided to keep putting it off. I honestly don't know what they did up there all day but it definitely wasn't anything to help the tenants! After we saw our lease at the bottom it said "contract generated on 04/17/17 (which was the day we were in there to sign) so she in fact didn't have it ready and lied to our faces when she said it had already been created and sent to us. I'm pretty sure they did this on purpose hoping their tenants don't pay attention to the cut off dates so they can screw them over with late contract renewals. This was just one of the MANY bad interactions we had with this office. It got so bad to the point where my husband and I started looking for a new place to live just weeks after resigning our lease because we were so unhappy here. We didn't care what it would cost to get out of the contract because we just had to get out of this place! Well fast forward a couple months and we got notice that a new management team would be taking over in the office and the old employees would no longer be there... we were overjoyed to say the least! Since this new management has taken over the vibe is completely different there is not a friendly helpful team that truly cares about your needs and it's just such a refreshing feeling to have that back at the Pavilions again! Aside from the office staff, building are nice and the property is well kept. Love the pool and it's never really crowded which is also a plus. I never have issues with parking. I feel very safe at this location. Maintenance is a 10/10! Anytime I've had a problem it is always addressed the very next day and they are so friendly and helpful when they come! If it wasn't for that hiccup with management half way through I'd be giving this place 5 stars. But I am definitely happy living at the pavilions again. read more

I don't even live here but have to submit a review. My husband and I are looking for a new apt to live in and we came across Pavillions. Don't get me wrong, they are lovely, great amenities and look like a place I'm sure you would love to live in if not for the add on fees and front office staff. The first time you go in they are as nice as can be. Then you find out There are extra fees for everything from renting your own covered parking space to having to pay extra to have the bad carpet switched out to the nice wood like flooring if they decide it's not bad enough to be changed before you move in. We looked an apartment and weren't gone an hour before it was rented to someone else. Why say it's available if you know it's not? When we went back to speak with the office she wasn't even decent enough to get out of her office to greet us, we had to go to her. She acted like we were interrupting her important day. We were told Another one was available but for $200 more than the one we looked at but didn't have a model to show. Talk about a bait and switch. Now that we go back and read reviews it looks like everyone who looks at or lives here has problems and get the same stock answer from management "we apologize your experience is not up to your standards. Please contact the office anytime." So much for being personal to your tenants. No thank you. Moving on...... read more

Been living here for just over a year. where should i start.... In order for the dryer to properly dry my cloths I have to pull it out 2 feet from the wall because they put a 6 foot hose on the back that kinks, you cant shorten it because the dryer will not line up with the hole in the wall... I asked them 5 times when i moved in and their response was "its only a 30 min cycle so you have to do 2 loads" yea... thats why it says 60 on the timer.... because its only 30 min.... there is never parking right next to my apartment i sometimes have to park across the parking lot and i refuse to pay for my own spot... i already pay ~$1000/month for this... the pool light is never on (not a big deal but thought you should know). location isnt the best... people like to, what sounds like drag race, on the access road right outside my window at 12 at night.. i know this is the desert but it does rain here... in fact its rained about 6 times in the last 2 weeks... one of my windows leeks like a water fountain and i have 2 leeks in the master bedroom, I told them about that and they never came to even look.... my pool key (magnetic id card like hotels use) stopped working a wile back, turns out it was programmed for a different apt number and the girl in the office tried to pin that on me... "how did you even get this"... they gave me that when i moved in. then she tried to tell me she can "see" when someone has put it next to a magnet and tried to tell me i broke it.. 1) you cant "see" a magnetic field.. 2) its been in my silverware drawer since i moved in... but dont worry we wont charge you this time..... Also, it seems like every time i go to the office theres a sign that says will be back with the clock pointed 2 hours later... you cant staff your own office? I understand you need lunch but im sure someone can come in for those 2 hours so that i can get my mail before I go to work because.. you close at 6 and i work until 9... those are all little things minus the leeks and the dryer but all of them just seemed to make my experience less than great... read more
