    Cantala Apartments

My ex and I lived at Cantala for almost 4 years, and the experience was exhausting. During that…read moretime, management changed 17-18 times, which made communication and follow-through extremely difficult. Every time a new team took over, we had to start all over again because the new staff didn't seem to have any record of what the previous team told us. We also dealt with ongoing cockroach issues in multiple units we lived in. Pest control came out many times, but the problem never fully went away based on our experience. It was stressful trying to manage that while also keeping my young son's space as clean and safe as possible. Maintenance did what they could, but some of the bigger issues in our apartment were never fixed while we lived there. For example, after a pipe burst in the unit behind us, our bathroom cabinet was water-damaged for most of our time in that unit. Each management team we spoke to told us it would be addressed after we moved out as part of future renovations. When we moved out, we were charged for several items that we believed were either normal wear and tear or pre-existing conditions. Because the management teams changed so frequently and pre-move-in documentation wasn't consistent, it has been difficult to get clear answers about which charges were actually tenant-related. If you do plan on moving here, my biggest recommendation is to get everything in writing. With constant management turnover, written communication is the only thing that stays consistent. Based on our personal experience, if you're looking for stability, reliable communication, and consistent follow-through, this may not be the right fit.

Run! Cockroaches & the worst revolving door management you can find. Moved out two years ago and…read morerecently got an email saying my credit score dropped 45 points. Turns out they sent me to collections without notifying me a single time.Didn't want to leave a bad review when we moved out, but now here we are. Tried to get out of lease when we first noticed the roaches but they gave us a new unit instead insisting it would be better. It wasn't. Tried to get out again. They wouldn't let us cut the lease. There are at least two sex offenders living there. Check out the citizen app if you don't believe me. Do not live here.

lived at Olive Tree Apartments from January 2020 to May 2025. In fact, I liked it enough that I…read morerenewed my lease for another term that would have taken me through 2026--but life changes, so I bought out the remainder and moved a little early. The good stuff Friendly, responsive staff. Everyone was kind and helpful, and I worked most often with Ashley and Raphael, who always made sure things got handled quickly. Clean, well-kept property. Management stays on top of landscaping and common areas, and they hold tenants to the same standard. Fair rent. Prices stayed competitive with (or better than) other complexes in the neighborhood. Positive move-out surprise. I'd read reviews saying deposits were rarely returned, so I expected to owe something after the lease buy-out. Instead, I just got notice that my full deposit is coming back--pleasantly shocked! A couple of hiccups Early pest issue. The building had roaches when I first moved in, but management fogged every unit and the problem was gone for over a year, right up to my move-out. Catalytic-converter theft. Someone stole mine once. That can happen anywhere in the city and wasn't the complex's fault, but it's worth noting for truck owners. Bottom line My five years at Olive Tree were overwhelmingly positive. The apartments are reasonably priced, the grounds are clean, and the team treats residents well. If you're looking on this side of town, Olive Tree is definitely worth a tour. Thanks to the whole Olive Tree crew for making it a great place to live!

Zero stars for sure!! Never have I ever written a review to…read moreany place either!! Got a pet in the middle of my lease sent over the documents of emotional support, states in my documents no charges, still proceeds to charge like 500 dollars, FINALLY moved out, left on my last day of my lease, cleaned everything to the best of my ability and still is charging me for damages, carpet removal, partial paint, rent for after my lease ending, door replacement, apartment cleaning.... List goes on. Now owing over 1300!! Ridiculous!!! DO NOT MOVE IN!!!!
