It's been too long since I came home! Why come home if even for a brief moment? It's life changing moments in my sisters life! It's a bouncy baby boy, he's three months old, my sister needs help; here I stand beside her repaying the favor she extended me when I was in need. My relocating to Arizona was not smooth, it was utter chaos. My sister "needed help." In trying to locate a place to live for my family; the family here became the hope to make the move possible. Many conversations took place between the office staff and myself, what ease they gave me knowing that "home," was all taken care of. In the end going home at night is why you do it. Not knowing what to expect from our new domicile, I committed to the eight month lease. All the images of the apartment were virtual too. A picture of something is all we had, a tour over the phone. They made this transition from Vegas to Surprise, AZ less weird. It was more than we could of ever expected. On the phone you can tell a lot about an individuals character; the office staff here went above and beyond for me. I'm sure for other families looking for some type of "home" they make it excellent too. We all need a home; even if it's for a short time. In my time here in Surprise, at the height of COVID this was my "new home," for a brief moment. The process could not of been easier. Actually all the paper work and correspondence was done with low ease. The use of technology these days made it genuinely great to fill out the paper work and cope with paying and setting up the actual apartment. Thank you to the wonderful staff for all the work they did on my behalf. Location is everything! This apartment complex is walking distance to a Starbucks literally across the road. Many smaller businesses are close too! Make sure and try such great places for coffee and cupcakes as Sweet Tea. Escape with a park across the way, so close I'm sure you and the puppy need a walk. If hope is what you seek; a beautiful church is next door. Take a stroll around your complex in the early morning for your needed exercise for the day. A gym and pool are located on site too. What more could you ask for? You come on over and see for yourself. The staff here is amazing. They say they changed landscaping companies, and it's a miscommunication. A 5-month miscommunication seems unlikely to me. Also, sometimes the trash doesn't get picked up, and it smells pretty bad in this heat. Other than that, they have fixed her dryer vent fast.

What concerns me most is not just the infestation itself, but the lack of urgency shown in resolving it. As a resident who has always paid rent on time and intended to stay long-term, I never expected to be left dealing with these conditions largely on my own. I have documented photos, videos, and communications regarding the situation and will be sharing them so others can make an informed decision. My experience with management, including Karen, has left me feeling unheard, frustrated, and completely disappointed. Renters deserve clean, safe, and professionally managed housing. Unfortunately, that has not been my experience.

Only one mentioned she was leaving for an appointment. I was then directed to take a self-guided tour, but encountered issues with the access code. The departing staff member came to assist me, but even then I struggled to lock up properly as I was unfamiliar with the door mechanism. To my surprise, I found myself exiting through the pool or fitness area and was unsure of how to leave the premises after 6pm, past closing time. Fortunately, the gate opened and I was able to exit. Personally, based on this experience with the staff, I would not choose to rent here despite the nice housing. I gave a rating of 2 due to the quality of the housing.

I have had pretty good service and even better now since the old manager has been gone. Any maintenance issues have been promptly tended to and concerns addressed. Other than an "ATTITUDE" form a contractor I have been pleased so far. (That plumbing company no longer services this complex, Odd huh) I did have my bicycle stolen from my porch. But, I should have locked it up better and to something structural for sure. That was NOT the complex's fault either. I gave the complex a "4" just because I knew this was not a top of the line complex nor did I expect it to be. However, I feel safe, secure and comfortable here. And this complex is way better than the average "DUMP" in San Diego for four times the rent! I'd recommend this complex to someone.
