Several masonry companies had quoted me ridiculous prices and insisted that the veneer stone would have to be replaced. Mr. Avelar came out to quote the job and was positive that he could get off the efflorescence and would also repair the flagstone. He also quoted me less than half of what the other masonry companies quoted me. He did the job efficiently and in under two days. His guys even found a way to reused some of the removed boards to fix some spots in a way that really hid the repairs. His communication was good and timely. I would definitely use him again.

Adrian and his crew built a beautiful retaining wall along with a safe play pad/area for my grandchildren's playset. In the course of working on these drainage and erosion projects Adrian had the crew work on several other parts of my backyard that weren't even part of original agreed upon work. They put steps down into the play pad area for me since I have a mobility issue, they put down a steppingstone path and cleared an old fallen tree root ball with their mini excavator. When all the work was done ahead of schedule Adrian and his team continued to work hard to clean up the entire job site. We had some drainage/waterproofing issues that needed addressed, and when I found out the scope of their skills, we also hired them for a laundry list of things I had on my wish list since moving in a few years ago. These folks did it all for us! For starters, they repaired a brick wall in our front yard, installed a new sump pump drain pipe and exit, re-worked some existing exterior waterproofing that had been done sloppily in the past, and added a new concrete pad and drain by our back door. They even helped us track down an underground gutter leak and replaced the broken pipe. The showpiece job, however, is the stunning stone retaining wall, that they meticulously built by hand, across the back yard along with the new cement parking pad and stamped concrete border tapering it to our existing drive. The pictures don't do it justice (attached is a "before" photo for reference). Everything was done with great care and precision, using high-quality materials. The owner of the company, Deborah, was a gem to work with. She is super-passionate about the environment and the quality of work her company does. We worked with Gerardo and he was also fantastic. He had great ideas and suggestions in terms of practicality and design. He was also flexible with a few adjustments along the way.
