In 2018 Paveco installed a new very long asphalt driveway (approx 2000 Sq ft) for me. The owner recommended that I seal it with Oil vice water-base so it would last longer. I followed their treatment plan for the first three treatments, one for the first three years. Then we went to one every two years. The next treatment will be in two weeks. Utilizing oil vice water-based is the best advice I could have received. Our driveway is 8 years old and still looks like new. There are very few if any cracks and the driveway holds up better than I ever imagined. Even my neighbors comment on how great it looks year around. When they apply the oil, it is done very meticulously. The value for the cost is well worth it as the long term effect means your driveway will last a very long time. Before when I used a water-based application, it looked nice at first but then broke down requiring re-coats every year. Last week, Paveco finished our parking lot on Duke Street in Alexandria. Our parking lot is for a Medical facility that handles Critical Care Patients. The existing parking lot was over 20 years old. We contracted with Paveco to Re-Pave and Re-Stripe without closing the facility. Rick, the Owner and his son Josh took extreme care in making sure the medical facility operations came first. They did a fantastic job with the parking lot, and we are happy with the finished project. We hired Paveco to patch a section of our driveway and Joshua George did an excellent job. After he left, we noticed some staining on the other section of the driveway and we called and left a msg. We were contacted by Paveco and Christine and the staff were willing to "fix it" although it is believed that the staining was not caused by their workmanship but by a previous person who sealed the driveway. This company has been 1 of the worst to deal with! They did not honor my contract several years ago, and expected me to pay 2,000 more for a new driveway,which i did and they told me I had to use them for re- sealing if I wanted the work guaranteed. So, I have had them out about 3 times, and they charge twice as much as someone else. The owner is so rude on the phone, and he doesn't even keep good records to know that I have been a customer for years! My husband finally called him tonight to say we are parting ways, and he was his usual, snippy self. By the way, I have never written a negative review, but this deserved it! What has happened to companies standing behind the work they do?! We had PAVECO put in a new driveway for us about 10 months ago. Rick said the driveway would be guaranteed for one year. A section of the driveway is starting to crumble and cave in. I called and Rick came out his past weekend and said that the particular area of the crumbling was not guaranteed and he would be happy to fix for $800. I would never recommend this company. Shoddy work on my driveway replacement 3 years ago. A 6 x 6 section of driveway started cracking and crumbling after 18 months. They blamed it on me using another company to seal it. They quoted me a price of $2500 to repair it which is almost what I paid for the entire driveway. Not willing to cut out and replace the defective section. Clearly it was a defective job (at least on that section of the driveway). It has sunk by several inches suggesting that they did not grade it properly or did not provide enough asphalt. It appears in that section of the driveway they spread less than 2 inches of asphalt. I believe they underestimated the job and apparently ran out of asphalt and decided to go thin in places. Almost all my neighbors have had their driveways repaved in the past 5 years and all of them look better than mine. I would recommend that you go with another company for you paving needs. read more

Just about a month ago, Paveco put in a new (repaved) driveway for us. We used this company slightly more than 10 years ago to repave an existing one that was considerably deteriorated and they did an outstanding job then. That last job they did has stood up tremendously well over the last 10 years. The only reason we needed a new driveway is that we just finished a major remodeling with a new garage -- the old driveway did not line up with the new garage. We had an event at our new home in which we needed the new repaved driveway done by a certain date. Paveco was able to accommodate our request. They even suggested a few changes to enhance the overall job (conduit for irrigation, lighting and com service). All this was done for a very competitive price. We are extremely pleased. read more
