He could not hang all the shutters due to humidity and said he would come back to finish the job. I paid him the remaining $400 when he came back July 11. On July 15, I texted Justin to let him know a shutter had come off the house, and another was close to falling off. It is now Sept. 6 and after multiple texts and several promises to return, he has not been back and has stopped responding to my messages. The second shutter did come off, as well as a third. Please do not hire Justin/Knuckle Busters. I feel bad writing a review like this, but I am not sure what else to do at this point. I feel my messages were reasonable and it's not like I hounded him every day. I just want the job I paid for to be finished satisfactorily. It's not a lot to ask for.

The pictures show the state of my driveway right now, and it's been over a year and I still don't have a driveway that's properly done. Every worker they have sent out to evaluate the driveway was shocked by how poorly the driveway was done. Nick and his team keep saying they will come out to fix it, but they never show up. They will not properly fix any problems with their poor worksmanship, so please learn from my experience and avoid doing business with them.

Oliver and his guys do pretty good work but the communication over schedule and money was really bad and unprofessional and I was constantly catching little mistakes in the work and having to ask for them to be addressed. I was out of town when the project began. I returned to find a house that had received two coats but obviously needed a third. Oliver quickly agreed and later, after many delays and drama, did the third coat as well as other aspects of the project that he had left unfinished. When he and I discussed this part of the project and I asked why he hadn't applied the third coat without me asking for it when it was obvious to his expert eye that it was necessary, he told me that he doesn't speak up when he notices things like that. He said that he waits to see if the client complains about it so he doesn't have to do unnecessary extra work. This told me all I needed to know about his work ethic.
