I had a couple of tasks that needed expertise. Teri, a gentleman who came to my home for a look-see and estimate was fantastic. Lia and Cathie, office support extraordinaire, were wonderful. And Jeff who came over to complete the tasks was outstanding!! In the past, I had tasks done by other people and have to say, you get what you pay for - lesson learned. It's weird that they claim to be "award winning" yet the lead contractor doesn't have the knowledge to rehabilitate the structure of an already established garage. Extra weird he never met me at the property to discuss his estimate of inability. The only thing I did agree was yes, they are odd. read more

Wow! The transformation was amazing!!! We gutted the main part of the house for a total kitchen, dining, living room remodel. You definitely get quality and care when working with Odd Fellows. They took the house from the 1980's to modern and comfortable. By moving a wall, a sliding door and a window, we now have an open concept feel and better flow to the main living space. We just love the space and are starting a bathroom renovation as I write this review! I would recommend Odd Fellows to anyone who is ready to invest in quality craftsmanship, great design and a professional business minded contracting firm. We totally got what we paid for! read more

We hired this company to tear out bathtub, install walk in shower, install plank floor, paint walls and ceiling and install new bath towel bars and hooks. This project was to take 6 days at most. They took 30 days. Only worked 16 days out of the 30 days. Poor workmanship.....floor tiles were not centered correctly, poor paint job, they damaged the wood work and vanity. And the plumbers they use are the worst we have ever used. We never knew when or if workers were coming. No on site supervisor, no walk thru inspection or follow up of any kind. We contacted Williamston office many times to find out when the project would be finished or where were the workers but basically they blew us off and said they were "busy". We will eventually need to rip up the floor and replace and repaint. read more

As a footnote, Oddfellow's Contracting has graciously refunded my investment. Brett, the owner, explained that the Covid years have put a new spin on their entire business model and my small, but complicated project was not a good fit for them. I can respect that. Odd Fellows built our deck in 2015 and we were delighted with their professionalism and workmanship from start to finish. We can not give them 5 stars because our deck boards started rotting only six years later in spite of proper sealing and maintenance. With every confidence in their integrity, We reached out to Bret by email in the fall of 2021 with photos of the boards in question. He was professional and promised to look into this situation. We never heard back. When he neglected to get back to us, claiming to have forgotten, we emailed him several more times about the damaged boards which are becoming a safety hazard. After 18 months of persistent reminder emails, we are left without any satisfactory resolution. We are expected to assume the full cost of these faulty materials which will be sizeable especially if the entire deck has to be replaced! In business relationships integrity is everything! We are so disappointed about the experience working with Odd Fellows. Their price quality ratio is way below what we thought we would get. We will never have work done y them again. We had initially started working with Odd Fellows to redo our master bathroom. We had set a specific max price, which we kept on asking to be respected, or closely respected during the design process (which you of course pay for). The final estimate was well over 30% above what we had agreed upon. This is disappointing as we kept on asking what approximate price we were at, and if the add-ons would make us go over budget. We decided to not move forward with the full bathroom remodel as it was close to a ¼ of the cost of our house.... We therefore lost the ~$4K we had already paid. Then we decided to still go ahead and get a couple of things updated in the bathrooms. The estimate was high, but we decided to move along so it would be well done and quick. None of the two proved true. We never knew when they would come and do work, some of the work had to be redone as it was badly done, the communication process was inefficient and there is still paint drips throughout my house. read more
