Our immediate job of laundry room remodel was quickly quoted and scheduled. Tim talked through the options and was very supportive of giving recommendations. Knowing our subfloor had leveling issues and was creaky we decided best was to go for full tile floors instead of keeping laminate / vinyl. We had subfloor work, new porcelain tile, beadboard accent wall, and new thresholds by R&R 360. We were given the freedom to choose our floor tiles locally. The work was completed super efficiently within 2 days. Tim was on site overseeing the team off and on. When I had follow up questions he was quick to respond. I would also like to apologize for asking why I had to pay a retainer fee for the attorney along with a down-payment for the work. It was foolish of me to question the extent in which lawyers are needed on all constructions sites. Lastly, I would like to say to future happy customers of Paulson's Construction: Along with never expressing any unhappiness over what you paid verses what you got, never take any pictures, compile any documentation, or look directly at either the construction crew or legal representation. I received an email with a bid as follows: Windows Pella Pro-Line Remove existing windows, prep openings, supply and install new package of windows (per spec sheet). Seal openings properly with closed cell foam and rubberized tape. Finish and caulk exterior. Interior will be ready for paint/stain. Exterior Door Remove old service door in garage and prep for new. Supply and install one 2'8" flat panel steel entry door with 1/2 glass on side of garage Debris Removal Debris removal and general cleanup He wrote separately that the Pella rep would be out with him on Wednesday and a deposit was needed on that day for 50%, then 35% when windows were delivered and the final 15% at completion. I wrote back that I could not give a deposit without receipt of detail. After my email, the exchange changed the relationship from cordial to adversarial. The tone of his email messages escalated negatively. Given those exchanges we decided to cancel the measurement meeting. The response to our cancellation was additional aggressive, diminishment and hostile commentary. All in all, unsettling. Given some of the other reviews I read only recently, I think we made the right decision.

We let them know that we needed the driveway done and cured before that date so we could use a wheelchair on it . They were here the next day to take out the old concrete and prepare it for the new. These guys really knew their stuff and they worked long and hard and did an absolutely stellar job. Communication with Michigan Rose Construction was great. They were always available to answer questions and we enjoyed interacting with the men who were doing the work. We would hire them again for any construction project without hesitation.
