Wildcat Tool - Small Engine Repair

October 3, 2022: 'Could not be more pleased or grateful! I own a Cub Cadet riding lawnmower with…read moreseveral issues that needed to be addressed, not the least of which it would not start. I reached out to Wildcat Tool by phone and spoke directly to a human. I briefly explained my mower dilemma and that, unfortunately, I had no way of bringing it to his place of business to have it worked on. He was not deterred as I lived nearby and stated he could retrieve it that day. Impressed right then and there! Mr. Sanders came in a timely fashion and quickly looked at the machine to see if it was a problem that could be alleviated there on the spot. As I had a list of concerns, he went ahead and took the machine that Thursday and returned it the following Saturday with ALL issues addressed/corrected, and it kicked right up and sounded like a new mower! He had brought along the replaced parts and patiently explained why he replaced them and provided tips on how to more efficiently care for my machine in the future. When presented with the invoice and all that I had asked of him to repair, I was most pleasantly surprised by the extremely reasonable cost of parts/labor. 'And an incredibly professional, nice guy, to boot! What a relief it was to find this gem of a knowledgeable and trustworthy businessman. . .

We're not regular TS Shoppers, maybe had been in one one time over the years before we stepped…read moreinside this one on 82nd street. We're just not the customer base TS is designed for. But, TS does sell some industrial equipment also, and that is why we visited this TS. We were in a desperate last minute need for a Pallet Jack for a truckload of 26 Pallets that not only arrived early, but also arrived without the Pallet Jack on the truck as BOL stated was needed for delivery. We had the Forklift to unload the truck in the parking lot, just no Pallet Jack to move Pallets in the truck for removal. We called around and Lubbock had a huge shortage of Pallet Jacks. The industrial suppliers just didn't have them in stock at that time. No used ones on CL, MP, so on. Didn't really know anyone to borrow one from. Plus, this was late on a Friday, so even the other warehouse around us were already shutting down. Someone mentioned try Tractor Supply, so we called this one, and Yes, they had one in stock. This was 3 Stop Lights away, 1.2 miles, and we thought we had hit the Jackpot. Arrived, walked in, sure enough there was probably THE ONE AND ONLY Pallet Jack for sale in Lubbock at that time that late on a Friday evening sitting there on the floor in the store. Brand New, never used, we were going to pay whatever they were asking. ($300 something) Went and found an Employee, walked them over to the Pallet Jack, and said we'd like to BUY this. They wouldn't sell it to us. Clerk was actually an ignorant fool over it. We kept asking why. Clerk tried to tell us TS does not sell Floor Models. We were like what do you mean you do not sell Floor Models? It's sitting here. It has a Price Tag on it. You have the manuals taped to the handle. It looks for sale to us. Clerk said Floor Models are only for Display and Demonstration only. We said, OK, go get one out of the back. They didn't have any in the back. Closest one still in the box was 2 hours away down in Midland/Odessa. That was absurd. So we asked that Clerk to get a Manager. Some Lady "Manager", supposed Manager, then came to help us. We asked same thing, WHY can you not sell us this BRAND NEW Pallet Jack sitting here. She then tried to explain again that Floor Models are for Display and Demonstrations only. We told her Pallet Jacks are not something that Pallet Jack Buyers need demonstrated on how to use. WE KNOW how to use them. Then I asked, If you sit here and DEMONSTRATE it for me, can I buy it then? She again said No. I then asked then what's the use of DEMONSTRATING IT IF I CAN'T BUY IT??? If you don't have any in the back room to sell, what's the use of having a Pallet Jack out here for demonstrating purposes IF YOU DON'T HAVE ANY IN STOCK TO SELL?? SELL this one, then when your new batch of Pallet Jacks comes in, put another one out here for demonstration purposes to sell the ones out of the backroom. Good Gawd, it was Retail 101. She still would not Sell us that one on the Floor. One of the stupidest retail of industrial equipment experiences I have ever experienced. We got the Pallets off the Truck late that night going old school using chains and straps dragging the pallets to the end of the truck to grab them with the forklift. 1 hour job turned into 3-3 1/2 hour job. $300 could have easily fixed that. We will probably never step foot into another Tractor Supply again due to that IGNORANCE alone we had to deal with that day. My Opinion, Tractor Supply is the TEMU, The Alibaba for the Products they sell. It's the Dollar General for Farm Supplies. It's McDonald's compared to Outback Steak House. 7/11 Compared to Walmart. And the Employees they hire, along with what little of intelligence it takes to become a "Manager" reflects just that.

All he needed was to get the mower to the front of the store to pay. He asked the girl at the front to call someone to help him. She did but no show, so he went back to the front and told the girl nobody showed up. So she call again. He waited and waited no one came. That mower was over $500.00 and they lost the sale. He went to Lowe's and got a mower.
