I drove to this place today hoping to find some advice on repotting my little plants. I immediately fell in love with this place. This place is filled with all kinds of plants growing indoor, the sound of water fountain, a white dove, cool terrariums, antique stuff... I was immediately greeted by a staff and people were so down to earth. They exactly knew what kind of soils I needed for different kinds of plants and pointed out what I really needed to get from them (as opposed to the general items that I can probably find cheaper at larger stores). Still, the different soils and plant food were making it a bit expensive for me. And honestly, I was not sure what I should do with the rest of the soils and plant food. Then, they suggested that they can repot the plants only for $6! They offered to include all the soil and plant food for the different plants. And... they did such a beautiful job repotting them. But the story does not end here - they even put some nice moss and river stones on the soils for the presentation and better water retention. This is a place with great therapeutic atmosphere with knowledgable and down to earth people. I will definitely come back here to support the local stores! And... with regards to a one star review. (No, I did not send him a message.) I think people can have any opinion about the store but it is not a fair judgement to rate the store one star just because they don't want to deal with any politics inside the store. This is a fairly conservative part of the U.S. but we never know what customer's political ideology is. Thus, if one runs a business, it is better that they keep it neutral. The review should be based on the service and the product one receives from the business and not on the match (or mismatch) of political ideas. read more

The plants were poorly packed for shipping, arrived battered and most of them died. Wrote to nursery several times before finally getting a response which was to contact the shipper. I will not be ordering anything further from this nursery. i ordered plants from a different source and they arrived today properly packaged for shipping and very healthy. it is disappointing when a business fails to meet expectations and then blames the problem on someone else. LittleRed did not offer to replace or refund my order. Shop elsewhere! read more

They price gouge even at the pumpkin patch. We ended up going to three different pumpkin patches and this was by far the most expensive and least to attend again. Avoid and just go to a local one or the farmers market read more

I bought two live lavender plants from Little Red Nursery. Upon arrival, on Aug 14th, one plant had one stem barely alive while the rest of the plant was obviously dead. The other plant looked okay. I wrote the company the same day. Anna assured me that it was a resilient plant and just give it time. The next day, the mostly dead plant was now completely dead...not a green spot on the entire plant. The second plant was already showing signs of distress, but I kept it in direct sun and watched the dampness of the soil. Today, five days later, this plant was also dead. So, I paid just shy of $55 for two plants that didn't survive 5 days. Customer service at Little Red is a joke. Don't expect them to resolve any issues with their products. As far as value is concerned, I cannot recommend any nursery that cost me $11 per day for plants that died so quickly, with no offer of resolution. This place is a scam. read more

Zero customer service. They sent me the wrong species of rose bushes! When they arrived, nearly a month later, after paying for three-day express shipping, they had been packed upside down in their box (labeled this side up), and all of the planting material had come out of their containers. I immediately noticed the plants were not similar to my existing roses. I contacted them and was told this is because they had been in a greenhouse, as for the color, but they could not explain the texture or leaf shape difference. We went back and forth sharing photos, etc. They then told me they had been shipped directly from another nursery, and they had been acting as a wholesaler in the transaction. I asked to return the plants and a refund under their guarantee. I have heard nothing back and have reached out to them repeatedly. It's so disappointing that a company that works so hard to have a glossy online presence can't follow through with a simple refund request. read more

Bought two flowering plants that I was told would be good in full sun. Within 4.5 hours the flowers had fallen over despite me planting them as instructed on the tag. Unfortunately they don't give a guarantee on their plants and I couldn't get my money back. They normally don't allow replacements but we're at least willing to do that. I have been scammed. I bought at the nursery a gift certificate for my wife, an avid gardner. Today She went to redeem the gift certificate and the owner told her we no longer do that. I went there twice, one time to look for a plant, one time to ask them to support our troops. The first time they would get a 4 for the plants they have and a 2 for the people that work there. The customer service here is beyond terrible. 1. Nobody even acknowledges you when you walk in. 2. The cashier in the front is extremely rude and short with customers. 3. I personally witnessed one of the managers (I'm assuming) yell at an employee in front of customers. 4. Prices are extremely high for a business that has no return policy. 5. I also saw the same lady that yelled at the other employee pick tomatoes off the plants and eat them! Extremely unprofessional. I went there 7/10/17 and only saw one person working and she never asked if my husband and I needed help. Finally crossed paths with her on our way out and I said hi. Bought a pinion pine tree from them, a few days later, I noticed the tree was dying. I got a closer look at it and noticed some insect had attacked it. I attempted to treat the tree, but it was too late. They claim they have a 24-hour​ return policy and refuse to do anything about it. I wasted 120 US Dollars. Went here today for the first time. They have a great selection of plants...herbs, vegetables, vines, perennials and the like. There were plenty of varieties of both standard plantings and new and interesting options. The store has a good layout and a decent selection garden decor, seating, and pottery. Prices were a bit high from what I am used to, but they were comparable to the only other nursery I have been to in the area. Also, I would like to have more options for things like compost and mulch, but I definitely see my self returning. read more

I will never ever go to this place again. First lets preface this with some good... they have excellent choice of flowers and other plants... This however is not about them. My family consists of me and my wife, our 9yo daughter and the hero of the tale my 4yo son. As I came out of the restroom my wife and kids were there. My son had knocked over a pot and it broke. Of course he didnt knock over a small one, he got one that he could have fit in. My wife then apparently got lectured on how she was a bad mom because she wasnt watching her kids and then the owner told us that we would have to pay for it. Anyone have little kids? Yall remember how quck they disappear. Especailly when you are trying to show the 9yo something. Accident. He wanted to see what was in the pot. Yes he did it.. Yes that was a lapse in my wife's concentration, but he was not being a terror. Now I acted a fool here. I was mad so I yelled at her and then took my crew to the car just going to leave. She (the owner) followed us out the door telling us that we owed her and that she was calling the cops. I decided to just capitulate and let her win. There was so much I should have done... but I didnt. I went back in and set up a payment plan for the pot. Now I am out 500 for a stupid pot. If we are responsble for breakage make sure to tell your customers that. I would not have taken my 4yo in there for this exact reason. 900 stars for the selection, -899 for the way I was treated as a customer. Went by today and got a Christmas cactus with the wife. Very knowledgeable staff and she even pulled out a book that showed how to care for the plant all year and let me take a picture with my phone to have. Good variety too! Thank you! read more
