Should read 3.5 stars! Can you find a carpet cleaning service on Yelp? Well yes, you…read morecan.......you can also find a grouponish offer like I did and research them yelp, but either way, after checking out the feedback of other yelpers I had them come over and Yay! I'm a semi-fan. So why am I a semi-fan and not a full-on fan? The experience with them was a little trying. I called to schedule and they didn't reply right away, but when they did it was via email and for an appointment time 3 weeks out. Since I wanted the carpets cleaned before the holidays, I didn't reply. To make a long story short, even though we never actually scheduled, a technician was sent out anyway wasting that poor guy's time (since I wasn't home) and us having to formally schedule. When we did get formally scheduled, there was a snafu of sorts on their side; the guy that was scheduled to come didn't, was replaced by someone else (making him late) and then their schedule must have been messed up because his supervisor called me trying to find him. Also, for a Groupon-like deal (it's Amazon Local) where I'm supposed to be saving 63%, I ended up paying only slightly less than the last time I got the carpets cleaned. So to sum it up, my carpets are clean but with a little drama so Yay, I'm a semi-fan.

After reading my review the owner of Mr. Sparkle, Mike, called me up earlier today and was…read morewondering what the problem was with the initial cleaning. I explained to him what the deal was, and he insisted on coming over and taking a look for himself. Initially I hesitated because I just didn't feel like dealing with it anymore, but after Mike insisted I finally relented and agreed to meet him today at 4pm. He arrived promptly at 4 and we discussed all the goings on of the day in question. He then insisted on making the situation right and volunteered to do the job over himself right then and there. Well he went to work and within a few hours I was one happy camper. The floors looked 10x better than when the previous guy was done and I was finally satisfied. I think it takes a real mensch to do what Mike did. Most business owners get a bad review and just wave it off to the cost of doing business; especially when the customer didn't pay full price for the service being done in the first place. I'm sure he lost some money on my whole deal and that's why he deserves a special commendation for doing what he did. Not to mention the fact that he volunteered to do the work himself. That's something you don't see every day. I would easily give them 5-stars, but I'm gonna have to hold to some principals and deduct 1-star for all the scheduling snafus, and not to mention the fact that it should've been done right the first time. However, I would still highly recommend this business to anyone because when they say 100% guarantee they mean 100% guarantee.

So I hired her (her sister had worked for me before, but she left suddently to go back home). i cannot tell you how great Araceli is. My house is spotless when I come home. She even does laundry for a bit extra, if you are interested. Some people feel weird about a stranger coming in their house. But I trust her with everything completely. Here are some examples: In the 6 years she worked for me, my cat didn't get out once. she has never forgotten to lock my door, unlike my husband. About 5 years ago, she broke a old plate. She showed it to me; she was almost in tears. Nothing personal is ever out of place or even touched. Sometimes she straightens my closet or fridge if she has time. When Frankie was a puppy, he pooped on our deck a lot, ans she would clean it up even after i told her please don't bother. And if that doesn't convince you: My husband has a habit of putting money in his jeans pocket and forgetting about it. She always leaves the pile of super-clean bills on his dresser with his clean jeans. Her English was decent before, but now she's confident enough to text with you, so you can text her. sometimes she makes her husband do the talking if it's the phone.
