Took my vehicle in to get a check engine light diagnosed. Took them multiple (4) visits to fix this, but they were extremely thorough with all the diagnostics and complete inspection of the vehicle. I've been coming here for years and I've been to other shops, but no one can compare. The staff here is trustworthy and understanding. They have fair and transparent pricing and frequently diagnose minor issues at no cost. I never feel uncomfortable asking questions about my car and the staff goes above and beyond to explain the work being done in a simple way. My car is always completed in a timely manner and communication is maintained throughout the services. This shop has referred me to specialty shops when necessary and it seems they have a good relationship with many businesses in the area. read more

This place and the whole staff has been great. I just picked my sedan up after getting the AC checked out. They are very communicative via phone and or text which is greatly appreciated. Took my car in for the parking brake and shaky wheel. They broke my brake and never addressed the wheel. Not even a mention. No explanation. Nothing. I couldn't believe it. I don't blame the brake thing - sounds like an honest accident - but to not even MENTION the shaky wheel? It's even on the bill! but they are real friendly and honest so that's why I give them three stars. read more

Not sure if someone new is running this place now but please read on. I had been going to Paul's for a few years now, the last time I was very disappointed. I had never been charged for an estimate their before nor was I informed of this charge until I asked for the printout of said estimate. A 30.00 charge for a piece of paper is ridiculous, also I ended up getting my repair done for free from the dealer due to it being under warranty, which they never suggested for me to look into. I get it it's a business but be honest to you your customers whether they are male or female. I will no longer do business here and I suggest you don't either. Funny thing is I showed the estimate to the dealer and the part I needed, was found at a much cheaper price, Paul's marked up this part by 25%. Very dishonest. read more

I wrote a review earlier that I can't seem to add to so here's a new one with an update. My experience at Paul's wasn't great originally. I was over charged , had a long time to get my car back & felt that I had received bad service etc. Since then I would definitely have to say the owner has gone really out of his way to make up for the service I received. Not only did he catch & reimburse me for an alignment that was unable to be completed on my car, days after I got my car back & had already paid ( I didn't even catch it!) but once he heard how unhappy I was he called, texted & even personally came over to my house to write me out another check because he's a honest, good businessman. He apologized immensely for all the things that I complained about & went really out of his way to let me know that this is not how he wants his businesses run. You can tell that he really listens to his customers & cares deeply for his business & the reputation & image of his company. He didn't seem to have any hurt feelings towards me that I voiced my complaints & truly came to make things right from a good place, I feel like finding people/managers/owners that go that far outta their way to change a customers mind (especially after said customer posts a Negative review on yelp)& give them $ back when I didn't even ask for it is very far & few between these days. I'd have to say that I would recommend Pauls if you're looking for a fair honest business with a great owner! read more

I have a 2001 Toyota Tacoma with 87K on it. Great truck. Check engine light came on so I went to a local dealer where I had purchased two other vehicles in the past. They said I needed both catalytic converters for the not so surprising sum of $3600. I understand that dealers always charge high for parts but, no. I went to Paul's Bender Center ( to the dealers credit they did suggest Paul's ) and they quickly found bad gaskets near the O sensor causing the bad reading. One hour and $ 109.20 later AND a passed emissions I drove off smiling. I've been to Paul's in the past and will surely return and recommend their services to everyone. read more

Have recently had loads of mechanic work done on one of my vehicles by another mechanic. Thousands of dollars spent and my issues were still not resolved. Heard about Paul's from a trusted friend and figured I'd take both my vehicles in for inspection. They are the most thorough, most professional, and knowledgeable mechanics I've ever dealt with. It was a pleasure dealing with them. Juan called several times throughout the day to give updates and estimates of jobs. Something that I find other mechanics don't find time to do leaving you waiting. Paul's Bender center understands the inconvenience of having your vehicle and they work hard to fix your problems right and fast. Despite working on my suburban for way longer than expected they still honored the first price they gave me even at the cost of way more of there time. The owner was working behind the counter. He was very friendly. Communication (including by Email) was very good. The shop seemed very well kept and modern. Prices are reasonable. They explain your options with no pressure to do more then necessary. If you are getting a muffler, they are part of a network of shops that will replace it under warranty. I just wanted to write a quick review because I am so impressed with this place. The last few times I took my car here, I left without servicing because they gave me very helpful advice to seriously consider upgrading to a newer vehicle instead of putting more money into my almost 20 year old vehicle. Another time I came by to see how much it would cost to put in a small part and they went ahead and took 7-10 minutes and did it at no charge. Today, he offered to put the car back up on the lift just to check something because I was curious about it. They always get my car in quickly... often I'm able to drive up and get a quick diagnosis the same day, followed up by a more thorough check-up a day or so later. They maintain great records and pull them up for reference every time I call or stop by. Extremely professional and polite. Very highly recommend this place. read more
