I bought 4 Bridgestone tires in the summer of 2019. I noticed that the side walls were pealing right away. I brought my car back MULTIPLE times. At least 6. Each time I was told it was "normal". I wanted to use the useless road hazard warranty. Nope. Hell, the owner came out the second time to look. Said normal. WTF! So today they said the with the warranty a new replacement tire was $90 plus balancing. Then they gave me a quote for $457.00 for two of the same for the front. Why not just quote 4? Like I'm going to just replace the three? The tire leak was on the sidewall as I told them would happen and unreliable as I predicted. I wonder if I got lucky it didn't go on the highway with the pealing? So to replace all 4 would be at least at least $795?!?!? Hell no. I feel like they didn't care. I needed a new set today. I was just a dollar sign. I'm going to Costco to get some Michelin's for about the same and I have issues, they listen. They didn't even inflate the tire to the 36 PSI. Just let me go with a quote. Just like when I had concerns immediately they dismissed me. November I was in and the guy said it wouldn't be an issue. Wrong. Even my mechanic said they were crap. I should have asked for tires at cost. But from my dealings here, I don't want one more dime spent out of my pocket. Don't come here. They sell craptacular overpriced tires. Put on the incorrect tire on my vehicle, and refused to make it right. Since it is a franchised store and not a corporate location* corporate could not help either. Tried to sell me more tires for a "Deal" for $720 but found the same exact tires at a different corporate location for $650. Don't go here. read more

I went into Tires Plus because they change the oil on my wifes car. I had to repair a coolant leak and in the process removed the belly pan, which was missing 4 of the bolts that hold it in place. I spoke with the manager and ask him if one of the techs might have some of these screws in his collection. He said no, once those hit the floor they are swept up and thrown away. Looks like I will be doing my own Oil changes from now on. It takes them an hour even without the inspection. you would think they could at least put the hardware back in place holding the belly pan. You'll probably get a "bang for your buck" IF you're successful getting your car's tires done here... The actual tires are well priced, unlike anywhere else you can find them (even Sam's Club). They have quite the user-friendly website that tells you all you need to know by simply typing in your car and model their online system will tell you the exact tire number needed. The site even totals up the costs of installation (free with tire purchase), tire balancing, tire disposal and all the works--you find your eyes turn into dollar signs just staring at your computer. The problem arises when you get all optimistic about saving up money... We called the actual store and they said it would be a 2-hour wait. UG! If the store wasn't in the middle of Bumbleville it would be no big deal, but it's surrounded by industrialization & cornfields. If you're willing to play a reality game of Frogger, you could try to reach the Tinseltown Movie Theatre and catch a flick (again, if you're lucky). Scratch that! I called the following day and one guy actually helped out by looking in the employee tire system for my car's tires. They were out of stock! So the moral of the story is, don't get all excited by the prices OR trust the website without calling!! P/S: No appointments are taken--it's first-come, first-serve. read more

Having been a big fan of Tires Plus in the past, I stopped here for my emissions test. I called first for an appt and was told that it was walk-in only. Thankfully they took walk-ins until 6 p.m. I showed up around 5:10 and was given a 35-minute estimated wait time which wasn't a big deal since I could walk over to Menards to browse since the waiting area was less than inviting. I arrived around 5:50 and assumed my car will be ready, but it still had not been serviced and would take an additional 15 minutes. Both the technician and counter person were friendly and greeted me within a reasonable time, but I definitely wished I had gone somewhere else. I chose to not pay the $10 additional fee and pay my registration online instead. Unfortunately my emissions test did not register through the system from either an error on the technician's part or within the system. I called Tires Plus after being told I could not be helped by the OBD rep. Tires Plus also told me they could not help me and seemed rather annoyed. Thankfully the DOT I was able to fix it by phone. I can't comment on their other services, but I would not go here for emissions testing. read more

Buyer beware...... They know nothing about WISC State laws and Taxes.... My 3rd party warranty company told them due to state law they can only charge tax on my deductible amount and they said they know nothing about that and requested me as the customer to get this information to them or I as the customer would have to pay it. After they did get over $1000 from my insurance and me. I have done business with these guys for a few years... I will NEVER go back to them and will NEVER refer anyone to them for business. They are sneaky and thirsty for money that is not owed to them. If you don't know about 3rd party warranties then you should have NEVER took the job on!!!!!! read more

I had a nail in my tire and I live far away. Instead of turning me down due to them closing and being super busy, the gentleman told me he would help me. He couldn't let me leave knowing something was wrong with my car and that right there is great customer service. He took me after they were closing. I am only in Kenosha once a week for work, but if I ever have a problem again I will be sure to come back here. Thank you guys for helping a girl who doesn't know much about cars to begin with! Tires Plus Kenosha is fabulous! They are all extremely friendly and professional! They've guided me through tire purchases (which I LOVE what they recommended and am on my second set!) and they've advised me through other service work as well! They are always honest and they stand by their work! I actually like that they don't take appointments...it's worked better for me to get my service done. If I'm low on time, I call ahead to see what the wait time looks like! I always bring a book or something to do (or I walk around the stores nearby) -- for me it's a chance to take a break from an otherwise hectic schedule! Love these guys. In my experience they are always polite and always quick if you take into account how busy they may be. My wife and I took a detour here last weekend after I found a puncture in the tire and we were in and out in an hour, even though all of their garage bays were full (which you can clearly see when you are there) when we arrived. I came in for a tire repair, I had a nail in my tire. Checked in at 9:11am. They said it would be 1hr before they could get it in. They said to come back at 10:30am and they could get it in. So I ran a couple of errands and came back at 10:30am, they then said it would be another 20min before someone could start working on it. So I wait, and wait, and wait some more. They finally get my vehicle in the garage and start working on it at 11:45am! Then it took them till 12:45 to repair the tire! Very disappointed with how they underestimate how long it will be for work to be seen and how long it took to be completed. read more

Being its been years since I have had to invest in tires I decided to call around and get prices .My car is equipped with 15in rims so finding a place that stocks them was difficult I found being most cars have 16in or larger. I checked with the big box stores but Wal-Mart and Costco were kind of over priced and didn't offer an alignment. I called tires plus and was told my tires would have to ordered and could be there the next da,y so I told them to order them and call me when they came in. I dropped my car off the next day and was told it would be about 2 hours to install new tires and perform an alignment. After about an hour and a half and I got a call saying its ready to be picked up. When paying the bill I questioned why it was cheaper than I was quoted and they informed me my alignment was fine and didn't have to changed. I don't remember the last time when a business told me I didn't need some and reduce the price. I am very pleased with the service and the tires are great! read more

DON'T GO TO TIRES PLUS OF KENOSHA!!! I brought my wheel here because a pot hole destroyed my rim. Dan Kurpis (the owner) said it would just be a few days and a new rim would be in. I paid up front hoping to get better service. After a week, I called asking for the status, Ed goes out into the shop and says, "Well, it came in, I don't know how long ago, but it's just sitting here." NO ONE CALLED TO TELL ME MY RIM WAS IN?! I spent almost a whole driving around on my only spare and Dan's response was simply, "What do you want me to do about it?" Oh yeah, and by the way, this is the 2nd time this has happened to me. A few years ago they did this same thing with 4 new tires I purchased. I stopped going here for a few years and remembered today why I said I wouldn't go back. If you sink to they're level and decide to go here, make sure you get a definite date the tire will arrive. read more

This place is a joke. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Went there 4 times and kept getting a run around on getting a simple emmissions test done. After the 4th time I gave up. First the machine is broken. Then the bay where they do testing is tied up and they can't do it (basically refused service). Third time too busy and then fourth time the machine is broken again. Management needs to fix this place. I will never go here again and will make a point to make sure nobody I know goes here as well read more

Asked them to replace a wheel bearing because of a humming sound it was making. Instead, they replaced the transmission axle on my Saturn Ion and called to say the car's still making a humming sound. Transmission axle began to leak transmission fluid right after they replaced it, but they refused to fix it. In other words, this Tires Plus replaced a part that I didn't want them to, a part that didn't have to be replaced, which created a problem that they didn't want to fix. I'm absolutely disgusted how they treat female customers by trying to steal from them. I came in to have my tire replaced, I told the mechanic my wheel lock is in the driver side door pocket (FYI: I just placed that wheel lock in the driver side door pocket half an hour before I brought the vehicle in). A few minutes later, the mechanic comes in and informed me he could not find my wheel lock . I went to look and true enough it was not in the pocket. I told him I'm 100% sure it was there and it is impossible for a wheel lock to jump out of a 5 inch deep pocket! I went back into the waiting area and 2 minutes later, those people at the shop told me they "found" it under the driver seat! Ahhhhh, now the wheel lock has got legs and is able to climb out of the 5 inch deep side door pocket to "walk" under the driver seat! In short, my tire has been replaced but to my dismay, when I got home, I found out my cargo net is missing! I called the next day to inform what happened. True to my worst expectations, they denied any wrong doing! Potential customers, BEWARE! If you go there, don't go to the waiting area. Stay right next to your vehicle while they are working on it and keep an eagle eye! I AM NOT going back to Tires Plus. The management has no intention of protecting their customers!!!! read more

I had a trip planned for July 30th 2016, Went to Tires Plus on July 22nd for new tires, had brand new Firestone tires put on that day, Friday, and brought it the following day, Saturday, for an alignment. That Monday, the 25th I took it on the interstate to go to Milwaukee. Once I hit 65 mph my steering wheel began to shake violently. I exited the I and went right back to Tires Plus and told them the problem. They kept my car overnight to check it out. Got a call the next day, Tuesday, that I needed another balance and alignment, that it was done and ready for pick up. Pick it up, tell them I have to travel to Milwaukee this day, they assure me the problem is solved. I drive to Milwaukee and the same problem, this time my entire car is shaking. Take it back to Tires Plus after Milwaukee, they keep it again overnight. I get a call the next day, Wednesday, that it again needed an alignment and tire balance, I am told nothing is wrong with drive line, tie rods, wheel bearings, ball joints but that my rims are bent and I have a warped rotor (was never an issue before the new tires were put on). He also says he doesn't suggest dropping the money on new rims because he can't guarantee that's the problem. I pick up my car and they wash their hands of my problem. Thursday, I take my car to another mechanic and within 45 minutes guarantees me that my rims are round and that the problem is the tire. Call Tires Plus, tell them and they tell me it's my rims, and that I will need to call the assistant manager the following day, Friday. Call the assistant manager Friday, tell him which he already knew because he was told the night before (thanks for trying to resolve my issue by calling me to resolve the issue) that it's my tires, he again tells me it's my rims, we argue for about 15 minutes, him telling me he heard I had drive line issues, I said no and his response was well then he must of been lying to me i reply with I had my driveshaft replaced 4 years ago, your guys also told me that there's nothing wrong with my drive line. I tell him I have a 65,000 mile warranty (haven't put 100 miles on these tires at this point) for manufacturer defect and that's what the problem is, he then tells me the problem is the rims. He tells me I will have to call the owner Monday, he is only authorized to show me it's my rims. My trip is cancelled at this point, the tires I bought for a safe trip have made my car unsafe. I get off the phone calling anyone I could to get my car safe again, end up calling Firestone, tell them my problem and the tires I have, I am then told I have a 30 day ride and try warranty if for any reason I don't like the tires I can get a full refund or replacement. Call back Tires Plus and tell them what I just found out about the tires and he said, "that won't fix your rims." To make a long story shorter I ended up going to a Firestone dealer to utilize the warranty. 3 tires were out of balance by 2 oz or more. The amount of weights on my rims was ridiculous and with that amount of weights the machine would of popped up a warning that there was a problem. New tires put on and balance and guess what, my car drives great, hit 75 mph on the way back from getting them replaced and balanced and no shaking at all. NO BENT RIMS OR WARPED ROTORS. Since Tires Plus told me that my tires were good I guess they're telling me that they don't know how to safely and correctly balance a tire. read more
