Stopped into Paula's on a Sunday. They were steadily busy the whole time I was there. Looks like a hole in the wall place, but has great food and staff. Had the fried chicken, black eyed peas, Mac and cheese and also some chicken and dressing. They put the meal in a white to go container, which would barely close from the amount of food they put inside it. It was really delicious and I would definitely recommend and go back there to eat. read more

So Yelp gives you suggestions of places to eat. I scrolled pass many of them, until I came across this establishment. I said to my husband I found a place for you to eat. Although we had to double back, it was well worth it. I read the reviews on the fried chicken and let me just say I was not disappointed!!! I'm still sitting in parking lot as I type this message waiting on my 2nd order of chicken. Cabbage I consumed or vacuumed into my body was made just the way I like it. Wow! In the absolute middle of Nowhere, Dublin, GA, is Paula's Chicken. I base my fried chicken taste off of that of my Grandmother Fowler's in Thomaston GA. This place stands up to it! Almost missed it coming off interstate. 2 miles to the right and walk into Fried Chicken heaven. It's counter service, sweet people... and the smells! My boyfriend and I had a bit of everything, chicken, porkchop, greens, okra, butter beans , mac and cheese and peach cobbler. Holy fried goodness! Chicken was perfectly cooked. The veggies all on point. Mac could have used pepper.. and be a bit less gooey. We ate it. Save room for the cobbler. So worth the stop. The seating is not the greatest, people were in line for take out the whole time we were there. Hope to make a trip down 16 West again soon. read more

The fried chicken got two thumbs up from my picky eight year old and my older son was gobbling up the ribs. The ribs fell off the bone and were some of the best I've had! This place is a life changing experience. I got two fried pork chops rice and gravy with some Mac n Cheese. The fried pork chop was the best I have ever had. Juicy and crunchy. Not soggy batter falling off on the first bite. It held on until the end. It was like crunchy pork chop armor that held all the goodness inside. The rice and chicken gravy was a surprise star as well. They make the gravy with the baked chicken swimming around in it so it has tasty bits of chicken in every bite. Mac N Cheese was pretty much stolen by my wife. They ran out on my order so we decided to share. Oh I forgot the cobbler to end it. It tasted like a peach and a Cinn-a-bon had a child. The BEST fried chicken! Prices are excellent compared to Atlanta! I travel down from Kennesaw,Ga to Brunswick,Ga. A 5 hour drive, sister had a tournament on the exit. I usually stop at this exit for the Cheap gas and found this place! I will never eat anywhere else on the way home! Customer service is unmatched! Sweet ladies who are very accommodating! I had the whiting fish with fried chicken and 3 sides! Less than $10. The macaroni is good, fries, yams, and greens on Sunday's! A drink they call the flop which is just an Arnold Palmer is good too!
