Dr. Randall was able to extract the tooth, do some bone grafting, pull the gums around the hole, and make everything the way it is supposed to be with a gap. She sent me off to an orthodontist who is now correcting the gap situation. We also had a very open discussion about what my options were and she helped me through several scenarios. I ended up with this one which I'm quite pleased with. Dr. Randall and her staff were very professional, provided high-quality work, and were very supportive to the whole process.

If…read moreyou're looking for a periodontist who prioritizes empathy and personal attention, I cannot recommend Dr. Felts Randall based on my experience. The approach during my visit with Chattanooga Periodontics & Dental Implants, particularly with Dr. Felts Randall, was extremely impersonal, rushed and uncaring. I chose not to return. Also, the clinic participates with my dental insurance, however I received a bill as if I was a self-pay. The issue was corrected only after I pointed it out, mailed only the correct discounted amount, and told the clinic that I could report this to my dental insurance and the insurance commissioner. As contrast, I went to another local periodontal clinic (near Gunbarrel) where the two doctors truly listened, showed genuine concern for my comfort and needs, and made the entire experience positive and reassuring. I left feeling valued and confident in their care.

I've spent thousands of hours in the chair and even more thousands of dollars trying to fix them. Unfortunately, most of those experiences were extremely painful and quite discouraging. I have been to many, many dentists, (too many to count) but this office is truly top-notch. From the moment I walked into The Mint Dental, I knew this place was different. Dr. Armstrong is crazy talented, meticulous, and truly cares about his patients. He and his team went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable, informed, and, most importantly, confident in my smile again. And let's talk about the phenomenal staff. They are rockstars!!! From scheduling to finance, to cleaning, to hygiene, every single person I encountered was amazing. Jayme, Rachel, Stacy, Tori, and Shanna, you all made this experience smooth, stress-free, and enjoyable! THANK YOU!! And let's talk about Mumford, the CEO (Calming Emotions Officer)! This furry little guy has a way of making even the most nervous patients feel at ease. Whether it's a comforting presence or just a little distraction, Mumford is truly part of what makes this office so special. For the first time in decades, I can smile BIG! That's something I never thought I'd be able to say. I am beyond grateful for the skill, care, and kindness I experienced here. I've finally found the absolute best dentist and team!
