One of the pipes was cut and needed to be hooked up to the toilet. We had a quote previously from another company (ABC Plumbing) for $2000-3000, saying they needed to tear down the drywall to get to the pipe(that alone being $500), then replace all the pipes, etc. Emergency plumbing was able to fix the issue for a tenth of the price and did not need to tear anything down. Having someone who understood that side of the process and stayed on top of it took a tremendous amount of stress off of us. The issue is that we were told we woukd be getting a significant sum reimbursed to us in manufacturer rebates and were told at point of installation that it would be handled by installer. The rebates never materialized and we asked to know what happened and the company said they would contact manufacturer for follow up and claimed that we should have already received them, but we had not. They did say they wpuld contact the manufacturer for a follow through. That was the last contact we could get. Since then we have been ghosted, calls are not picked up nor are messages returned. We have been trying to get an answer on that follow through and we can get no updates back. Very unfortunate that the matter is being ignored.

Here is my update at their request: I wanted to wait a few weeks after the 'repair' to be sure and give this its due diligence. I took these pics today. Lake cook has continuously blamed the recent heavy rains and architects design of the house as being the issue. As you can see, it was not raining hard when I took these today and the water is still flowing over the side, under the diverter they installed. It's not even making it to the gutter now! I always thought I cleaned pretty well and generally keep my house in order, but now I could not feel more like a slob. She was able to clean hard water stains from my shower door that I had been unable to clean with half a bottle of Scrubbing Bubbles and a scouring pad. My hardwood floors are beautiful and I don't see a speck of dust on any of my furniture or pictures. Regarding pricing, it seems comparable with other companies when researching online, however a little more expensive than a couple of my friends pay with different companies and whom have larger homes. Based on my own (admittedly limited) experience, I will definitely continue using English Maids.
