Decided to try Patty's Diner and ordered the smash burger after hearing good things about it. It definitely lived up to the hype. The patty had those crispy edges, the meat was juicy, and everything was perfectly balanced, just a bit greasy though. The fries were fresh and crispy too. Love the root beer float! Next time, i'll try their milkshake. The staff was nice, service was quick, and the diner had that classic, cute, cozy vibe that makes you want to come back. If you're in Burlingame and craving a really good burger, this place is worth checking out. I'll definitely be back for another smash burger!

Visiting from out of town and when we walked by we thought it looks super cute inside. It's a small place that is retro themed. They were playing I Love Lucy on the screen. The milkshakes sounded delicious so we decided to stop by and get a couple. We ordered at the counter and the staff looked like they all got along together and it was a fun environment. We got the cookies and cream and banana cream pie milkshake. Both were very creamy and sweet. I would say that I liked the banana cream pie one more though. Overall cute place.

Order at the counter and grab a seat! Had the southwest and classic burger and flavors were amazing! Huge onion rings and some tater tots that were fine. Grabbed some spicy sauce because I love that heat and I would say it's not that bad. Milkshakes are not your classic malted or thick shakes, but i thoroughly enjoyed my creamy mango shake. My son was not a fan of the mint shake and said he wish he had the cookies and cream instead. Decor and art were the highlight :D grab some friends and enjoy some drinks and watch some shows like Leave it to Beaver! Street parking and prices are both painful, but this is a nice sweet treat. Thanks!

Such a cute diner with great food and even better service. The staff and our server were very friendly and welcoming. The whole place has a charming, nostalgic vibe, and having "I Love Lucy" playing in the background made the ambiance feel cozy and fun. Everything we ordered was delicious, and we will definitely be coming back again. Btw. Definitely get the shakes!

First off, Patty's is a 50's diner complete with leather booths, formica tables & chairs lined with memborablia from the 50's. Plenty of photos listed. Food didn't disappoint with 50's & 60's music rocking the place. An enjoyable experience. I had a good old fashioned patty melt and it was what I expected, crunchy toasted rye bread, burger with Swiss cheese and enough mustard to add some spice. I'll definitely stop by when in town. Looks like Patty's Diner is doing brisk business. When leaving the place was already bustling with families & young children who were really enjoying the environment.

A few notes from our visit here: - came on a Saturday with a somewhat large party - 8 people. They were able to accommodate us because we called ahead and made a reservation. It doesn't look like there is much seating. There is some bar seating and a couple booths. They put two tables together in order to seat us. - when we ordered, they said it would take about 15 minutes. It was more like 45 minutes to get our food. They brought out our milkshakes very quickly so we had dessert before dinner. - since it's a smash burger, if you only get one patty, you're mostly eating all bread. I enjoyed the chili cheese fries. - the decorations were cool. Very spot on with the theme. I'm open to trying this place again for a better experience.

It's cutest burger spot. The diner is cute, decorated with a lot of posters, lights. The place is not very big has in door and out door tables. We walked by one time so we decided to come try it out. I was there before everyone else. The cashier told me "You order then find your table. ". Friday night dinner rush time and they are nice enough to let me sit at a table first to wait for my family. We all got different burgers and sides to try only thing is they are at a higher prices and still charge for sauce. Milkshake is good thick and you can tell they use good milk but just one cup, no extra. Float they use good soda but ice cream a bit sweet so it makes the float more sweet Fries and tots are just regular not very crispy . I guess I'm missing the sauce but I'm not sure $2 sauce is worth it. Onions rings are very crispy and favorful. The smash burgers are very good the meat is small if you don't get double. I did not try the Philly cheesesteak so cannot comment on it.

Classic diner vibe. I ordered a cheeseburger and shared chili cheese cries. Both of which were delicious. The burgers are similar to smash burgers and have a nice crispy char on them. The chili cheese fries were really good as well and coated the fries really well. The place was very clean and has a wide variety of options from burgers to shakes. You order and pay at the counter then recieve your food. This place had a consistent flow of people dining in and ordering take out. I was not a huge fan of the bun. It wasn't toasted and was a cheap bun, didn't match the burger. I also did not like the AI generated photos of the food. It didn't feel very accurate.

Very cute diner! Was walking past and decided to stop in to check out the menu and ended up walking out with a Pattys Burger Salad bowl. And it was delicious. Healthy but tasted amazing! I was greeted upon walking in. And it was a breath of fresh air. The lady was kind and immediately sent me the way of a menu. After ordering, it was quick. Took maybe 5 minutes max to get my food. The gentleman who took my order handed me the nicest to go menu ever!! I would have mistook it for a regular menu if he didn't say it was a To go menu when he handed it to me.

A retro inspired 50s diner with a modern twist of smash burgers. Their milkshakes are delicious. The food is a bit small of portions for the price but all ingredients were tasty and quality made fresh. Seating was self seating and ordering was at the counter.

New addition to downtown Burlingame, Patty's looks welcoming with open space and nostalgic decor. There are 5-6 tables and bar seating. Not a ton of seating so keep that in mind! You order up at the cashier before you sit, so depending on how packed it is you may want to take it to go. All tables were full when we got there but thankfully we got one before our food came out. We had: Double Oklahoma smash burgers: 10/10 they were so good. The caramelized onions embedded into the patties was a nice touch. Super soft bun, melty cheese; and an outside crispyness to the patties. Perfection! Added house made smash sauce: great sauce, paired well with burger Peanut butter cup milkshake: 8/10. This milkshake tasted great it was just a little difficult to drink. Theres a lot of grit in the milkshake from peanuts or chopped up peanut butter cups. Often got stuck in the straw. They do give you a spoon as well but I prefer straw :) All in all a great smash burger joint and I'd definitely go again! P.S. the lady at the register was very friendly and welcoming

Looking for a quick bite while in the area, I found this little gem in Yelp. The space is nicely decorated in 50's era pop culture. The booths and seating areas are very clean and updated. I tried the signature mash burger and loaded garlic fries. The burger patties were delicious and the fries were crispy and well seasoned. My server was friendly and the food came out very quickly from the grill. They also serve floats, shakes and hot dogs. Happy travels !

Great for a traditional American comfort breakfast. If you love sitting at the counter and watch…read morethe chefs cook in front of you, you'll love this place. At my seat (depicted) you get live behind the scenes of a kitchen. Me personally, I enjoy watching my food being cooked in front of me, so I enjoyed it. I originally went because of looking at the prices on an image on yelp. It was $16 for sausage, eggs, hash browns, and pancakes. That's a great deal! But, once I got there inflation kicked it up to $18. Not the biggest difference to deter, but just letting everyone know the real price. I got pancakes, eggs, hash browns, and bacon (depicted). The eggs were good, pancakes were very good, hash browns were okay, and the reason for 4 star instead of a 5.... the bacon. The bacon wasn't crispy and cooked to order. It was chewy and I guess they cook it before and then heat it up on the griddle after. It is super noticeable from the taste, but especially from the texture. I would recommend this place to anyone, but just be aware with the vital advice I wrote.

My pork chop dinner included soup or salad, slice of toasted and buttered sourdough, potatoes or rice, vegetables and choice of dessert. All for just under $30 before tip. The meal was as expected for a '60s coffee shop. Salt is the dominant seasoning. The turkey and rice soup was a smart way to use leftover ingredients. The boiled red potatoes were good. The two thin pork chops were supposedly marinated, but I couldn't tell from tasting them. They were over cooked--dry, tough and needed some herbs. DH had the cheeseburger with potato salad and praised the meal. He also devoured my dessert--ice cream with chocolate sauce. Service was friendly and efficient, making me want to return. Next time I'll have something like a sandwich or burger.

Everything about our experience there was absolutely wonderful from the warm welcome, to the service, and above all, to the food. But then there's the eggs Benedict: perfectly poached eggs, a large serving of Canadian bacon, and the BEST Hollandaise sauce around, completely made fresh, and from scratch!!! The hash browns, also perfection: crispy and bronzed on the outside, and soft and tender within. We also had a small order of French toast which was equally as excellent: a hint of cinnamon, and melted in your mouth. We were so happy with our meal, we wanted to tip the chef AND the wait staff!!!!!!
