However, the shirts were dropped off three weeks in advance, and it took 2.5 week for them to complete. I placed the order in advance to avoid additional errands. When I picked up the order, I got home an noticed that the order was incorrect. The owner claimed it was a mix up. Due to the mix up, I had to make an additional trip to drop the shirts back off, and another trip to pick up the order that they messed up on. To top it off, the final product of the two shirts that was returned were TERRIBLE & TACKY. Defiantly not what I was expecting. I was looking forward to the owner offering me some form of compensation for the inconvenience. Instead, they owner disregarded the mishap and proceeded on as if nothing had occurred. I started to complain, but I noticed that they had other customers in the store, and I didn't want to come off as the "angry black woman" in the white owned business. This was not my first time shopping with this business. However, this will defiantly be my last. Future tip for the owner, would be to assure accuracy with all orders. I've used this company to print shirts on 2 separate occasions. The first time around, it was fast…read moreand easy. I placed my order, was told to come back at a certain time, and when I arrived my order was pretty much ready. (I ordered 4 shirts and the employee was working on the last 2 when I arrived, which was fine.) The second time I used Stitch by Stitch, it was much more of a hassle. I placed my order in the store and I was told to come back the next day. He didn't give a specific time so I assumed I could come anytime during the day. I tried calling before I came to assure that my order was completed but no one answered the phone. I ended up coming to the store to check on my order, in spite of the fact that I couldn't get in contact with anyone to confirm that my order was ready. I arrived at 1pm. At that time, I was told that my shirt wouldn't arrive until after 4pm but the design was ready. I asked if I could see the design, then found out that he lied. The design wasn't ready yet either. This wasn't a big deal though. He designed it right then and there and I was able to provide feedback, which was nice. He then instructed me to return after 5pm. I came at 6pm and my shirt still wasn't ready. He reassured me that he would do mine next and that it would be ready in an hour. I came back at 7pm and, of course, the shirts still aren't ready. The owner is a very kind guy! He went above and beyond to assure that I liked the shirt but he needs more help. He was working by himself and several people came in to find that their order wasn't complete. Don't use this service if you don't have a little extra time to spare. It's also pretty pricey...
