This seamstress is unprofessional and upset me. She took my measurements for 2 costumes that I was wanting to wear for photoshoots last year in August/September 2024. She was going to alter them and kept saying she would but kept delaying it due to her other job and getting surgery. I was understanding of the delays and wish that she would have told me much sooner that she couldn't do the alterations. Because in April 2025 that's when she finally communicated that she could not alter them and apologized so I went to pick them up. So she held the costumes for 8 months when I could have brought them to another seamstress during that time to get altered. When I went to pick up the costumes in April she said she could either refund me money for a costume she previously altered or make a new costume from scratch to compensate for the inconvenience. I asked if a new costume could be made from scratch and never heard back from her (it is now late November 2025). In April, I picked up the 2 costumes which had pins in them with chalk markings for the parts that needed to be altered and brought them to another seamstress. Once the new seamstress altered them with the marked measurements, the costumes were cut too low in the front and she had to add different fabric to them to fix them and ever after that they still don't look right. I informed Rosie about this in August (2025) and I never got a response back. It is now approaching late November and she still never messaged back. Since I had issues with the costumes and so much time had passed of not having them when I needed them, I instead requested a refund in August for a costume she previously altered instead of having a new costume made and I never heard back (it's now late November). I am a very nice person and was so patient throughout my time of seeing Rosie. I drove 40 minutes to and from when I would go see her. I feel taken advantage of and have been very upset.
