I AGREE WITH ALL THE OTHER 5***** REVIEWS FORGET THE HIGH SCHOOL KIDS IGNORANCE I mean just like a 13 year old to write a terrible review to hurt an establishment that has been a pride & joy to have in Midlothian for over 10 years. Athena's Tailor Shop is by far the most professional and higher-class establishment I have been going to for years. Sophia is the best tailor on the Southside. I wear suites on a daily basis for work and she has not only turned a suit coat from a 3 button to double breasted and vise versa which in my eyes is just an amazing talent that by far overwhelmed all my expectation. The prices are way better than any cleaners and are done Tailor made to your body. i have taken over 20 suites, winter jackets, and even had my daughters entire cheerleading squad outfits customized by this woman. AND NOTHING BUT PERFECTION. I PROMISE YOU ALL THE CLOTHS SOPHIA TOUCHES SHE MAKES INTO A MASTERPIECE SHE IS JUST AN ARTIST IN HER TRADE. I haven't had time to get to it but I wanted to write a review on what a nice job Sofia did on my daughters dress. Sofia was patient, took her time to make sure that the dress would fit perfectly, and wanted to make sure my kido was happy! When she tried it on, everything fit perfectly! Sofia's pricing was great for such professional service, she mentioned she worked in department stores for 15 years as a tailor and her experience really showed. She was super nice, easy going, and did the work with a smile so I would definitely go back to her shop! read more

Sophie is the very BEST, altered my DIL Wedding dress perfectly, good advice on undergarments also. I have had many of my personal items altered by Athena's Tailor Shop including lining of my winter coat, my husbands suit, emblems sewn on jerseys (Blackhawks of course), and hem on a dress.
