I asked angie if she could use the material from the inside pocket as the patch. She said ok & wrote that on the ticket. When I went to pick up jacket she used another material, that was not the same color or the same feel. I was not happy. The instructions were on the ticket! She had one job to do & she messed up. I don't know why she didn't do what I asked. I prepaid for the work. I told her that I wasn't happy & she just didn't care. She just said "I sorry". Yeah, I'm sorry too for giving her the business. The best tailor I've been to. I've been going here since 2018 and I'll go back as long as I live in the area. I meant to write a review sooner, but the whole team is very kind, family owned, and they are able to do extremely well done and quality stitching within a short time frame. I dropped off 4 boys dress pants to get let down, a suit coat that needed sleeves shortening, and a bridesmaid dress to be altered. One pair of pants weren't let down at all. I had my jacket taken up, but it was bigger than I expected. The lady there was telling me that she asked if the sizing that she did was okay. I don't remember her asking me that. These people do not listen to what you want or tell them. They were busy when I dropped off my suit for tailoring. I was made to wait a long time.....which was fine...I get it. But then was rushed by the seamstress. This was an expensive suit. I paid a premium to them for work.....waited two weeks to get it back....and the pants are now floods and the jacket too short in the sleeves. Unreal and never again. AMAZING SERVICE, I was recommended this service from Peaches Boutique, where I bought my daughter's prom dress from. I was soooo pleased with their service. Everyone was soo nice and accommodating. From the time we walked in, the young lady working the front is soo sweet and friendly and the ladies in the back come out and see what needs to be done. They smile, speak and go back to working on other clients' dresses. My daughter's prom dress needed to be hemmed and she needed the back of her dress covered up. Very rude service from Angie. Got my wedding dress altered there and I asked for specific changes to the sleeves. It was done very sloppy and she didn't even follow the instructions I very clearly gave her. We had to send it back to be re-altered and by that point that dress was already damaged enough to a noticeable point. It looked very cheaply done. Also, when I was trying the dress on she made comments about my body and how I have "no waist" and needed to find a better bra that suits me. Lol. Very unprofessional and honestly a nightmare for someone who has body issues. I don't recommend coming here unless you are open to getting unsolicited comments about your body. I feel like this place is hit or miss - they seem to have a lot of loyal customers but that might just be because most people don't know the difference of good and bad alterations? If you're looking for a long-term seamstress, I would look elsewhere. Not worth putting up with the attitude of this lady. I brought my wedding gown here to be taken in, bustled and have a belt sewn into the waist. The woman working the front counter was very helpful and friendly. The prices were very reasonable and we had the dress back in under a month. The work done on the dress is amazing! She left some room in the hips so I can sit comfortably, and the belt looks perfect! The length is exactly right. Not knowing anything about wedding dress alterations, I had no idea how many different types of bustles there are and I usually don't like the way they make a wedding gown look. My mother came with for the alterations, and she was very impressed by the bustle. She explained how difficult that alteration is and is stunned at how gorgeous it looks. I agree! I had a bridesmaid dress altered here. I tried on my dress in the shop when I went to pick it up and I'm glad I did because it wasn't altered correctly. Only one strap was adjusted when I needed both done. They also forgot to alter the neck line of the dress as I had asked. The young lady working the counter was helpful and had them them quickly adjust both issues while I waited. During the wedding reception, that same strap that was quickly fixed broke and leads me to believe the did a subpar job. For the price, the quality of the work on the dress was not good. At the same time, they also altered a few pairs of pants for me which turned out fine and thus get a 3 star rating from me. read more

I brought a bathing suit top to them to be altered. I was suggested by their staff to order breast pads from amazon to use for the cups instead of the ones that came with the bathing suit (which were $14.99) so I did. I was then instructed to bring them back on the day it was ready and they would be sewn into the bathing suit (which I asked multiple times are you sure she doesn't need them before starting). On the day of pick up bathing suit looked great, just needed another alter along bottom seam under breast, ok that will be more money and can you pick up tomorrow. Yes no problem. Tomorrow comes, cups are now sewn on outside of swim top, not what the lady told me and she gets the lady from the back who now comes out and starts yelling at me telling me how could she put them in with the stitch, well ask your worker who suggested them to me. After many minutes of me trying to explain to her that this was not what I even came in here for all I wanted was the top to be altered so that my breast wouldn't fall out and I was suggested to do way more and I went with it. Now I was told it could be fixed by end of the day. It wasn't even 29 minutes and I get a text it was done. I get there before closing and the bathing suit is ruined, COMPLETELY RUINED. There are holes on the outside (inside breast area) where the pads were sewn in. Looks like they were RIPPED OFF. Then the seem they made originally is taken out leaving me with a V like shape of tiny holes on both side of the top with another set of seams made that don't even match on both sides. The RIGHT side is all Scrunched up looking when on. I was so upset, YHE BATHING SUIT I SPENT SO MUCH ON IS NO GARBAGE. They didn't even see the pads in, which was promised to me by the staff. AS I TOLD THEM IM DONE ITS GARBAGE I DONT EVEN CARE ANYONE. YOU DIDNT EVEN SEW TGE PADS, I was told they don't do that. Well after 4 trips don't you think someone should have told me that, especially since your worker told me that is what would be done. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS SHOP TO ANYONE. THEY DONT EVEN REMOVE THE UNNECESSARY FABRIC. THEY LEAVE IT AND CREATE EXTRA SEAMS. SHE did give me back my money back after countless drives there, I wasted much more then the money I paid them to fix it. read more

A great find in my parents neighborhood!!!! I bought a wedding dress online and needed the shoulders and the collar to be fixed as well as the dress brought in at the waistline and underarm. It was a complicated job because there was so much lace and tulle, but Angie was great! She was patient during my dress fitting and very pleasant to work with. She really did a great job on the dress and now it fits perfectly! The dress also needed ironing and that was done as well. It took two weeks to get the dress back. After reading a few reviews posted on yelp I can definitely agree with the comments made on the owner, Angie. I went their with 2 pairs of pants for my 14 year old - I only need them hemmed up a bit. One pair was black jeans and the other was a loser fitting material (almost like leggings but with a cute flair on the bottom). We had to go back twice to get them to fix the hems because they were uneven on both pairs. After the second time, the jeans were acceptable but the other ones were not. At our third visit, Angie herself came out yelling from behind the store saying the pants were fine when clearly one leg was shorter than the other. Even other clients waiting there agreed with us and she yelled at us in front of them! She kept yanking the pants down on my daughter saying there was nothing wrong with them and then finally, very unprofessionally said she would pay us for the pants and the hem service. Granted the pants were only $14 and $10 for the job, but she was only willing to give me the $10 they charged, or she would pay me for the pants she ruined but wanted to keep the pants. I didn't want to lose my cool because I am a professional and my whole career has been in customer service so I just took the $10 and left. Zoe, her assistant was very nice and apologetic-I feel sorry for her as she has to put up with Angie's rudeness. I'm embarrassed my daughter had to witness this rudeness. Nevertheless, I will never go back there or recommend anyone to this establishment. read more

I had a great experience getting my wedding dress altered. Angie was extremely helpful, quick, and charged me a *very* reasonably price. She was also honest and upfront about what she could and could not do with the dress; we didn't have enough material to redo the top completely, but she managed to make enough changes to salvage some very poor decisions on the part of the designer. The alterations were done in 2 weeks (which seems to be unheard of in the wedding dress world?) and they were very well done.
