Instead, this business made no effort to contact me at all and simply proceeded to destroy my property. She tried to make excuses but ultimately had no excuse for making zero effort to contact me. I paid $68 for the dry cleaning and over $80 for the alterations. I think the work was done nicely. I will say I thought the waist alterations would be different. They folded the cloth in and sewed it together. I thought they would be taking cloth out, but I have never had alterations done, so this was an assumption on my end. The work was done when they told me it would be, so I would recommend this place.

I had brought in a Halloween costume and a red petticoat to get dry cleaned. I had told the lady…read moreabout two pen marks on the front part of the costume when I brought it into the shop. I went to go pick up my items today and the same two pen marks are still on the costume. The marks are from a normal Bic, ball point pen, less than an inch long each. I asked the lady about it, it was the same lady when I brought in the clothes, she had told me that they must have washed it and couldn't get it out. Now, if I'm not mistake, I took my articles of clothing into them to get washed because they are dry cleaners, that's what they are suppose to specialize in doing. When I look inside the costume, which is black, you can see my white deodorant marks in the armpits of my costume. I asked if they could try again to get the light marks out and the lady ignored me and didn't care what so ever. I will definitely not be returning to Highland Cleaners.
