I cannot recommend Graphicsland (aka MakeSigns.com) enough! I was presenting a LARGE poster at a conference recently and my data wasn't ready until only three days before departing for the conference location. I called all over town to find places to print a 36"x72" poster and was getting quotes from $135-195. I did not want to spend that kind of money so I started a search online and came across makesigns.com. Their website was easy to use and they were upfront with pricing (I didn't have to request a quote and give all my information away). I was shocked that it would cost only $62 for my poster size AND with a glossy finish. They were even great about getting it to me in the time provided. I put in my order around noon, selected overnight shipping, and they had it to me by 10am the next morning in a nice tube that I carried right on the plane with me to my conference. The conference went well and I got so many compliments on how clean and professional it looked, which I couldn't have done without Graphicsland. For work, we are constantly getting posters printed for research conferences & Graphicsland is by far the best there is for printing. I have had positive after positive experience with them. The website interface is SUPER easy to use. Also, you will immediately get email updates acknowledging the order receipt, updates on when it goes into production and information on when it is shipped. I don't know about you, but I LOVE when I am fully informed of what is happening with my order every step of the way. That being said, you don't have to sit around waiting for updates because they are SO fast. Graphicsland/makesigns.com provided the best poster printing experience I've ever had. I needed to print a 36x60 poster, and the leading big box office supply stores and printing chains were quoting nearly twice the price as makesigns.com. If you order by noon CST, they'll have a proof to you ASAP and printed by COB. I appreciated the email status updates for online proofing, production, and order completion. Upon arrival,the staff greeted me, rolled out the poster for my review, and offered me silly putty and a t-shirt. I recommend using makesigns.com for poster printing, but I also recommend using the shipping option, if possible. I dislike paying for shipping, but trekking out to Tinley Park via CTA (25 minutes)+Pace (Over an hour)+foot (15 minutes) wasn't optimal in terms of time and physical exertion. Its more than worth the additional cost if you're a carless student in Chicago. Overall, excellent service and product and highly recommended! read more

Ordered from them for an event. They have reasonable prices and even had added in price breaks that I didn't even know I was getting. It was a pleasant surprise. Went with the option to pick up and not pay for shipping prices. They did fast work. From the time I sent in the image to the time it was ready for pick-up was about three hours. We ended up making a mistake on one of our signs and they were very helpful in fixing it and even did free overnight shipping to us even though it was not their fault. I've been relatively happy in past dealings with this company. The product I typically order is oval 4"X6" bumper stickers with white background, black border and black text. The price is right, and the order always processes and ships fast. The issue I have is the poor quality of the product. On the back window or bumper of a car, the stickers begin to peel, fade and flake in less than a year. For a sticker that's marketed as a bumper sticker, that's an unacceptable level of durability. I suppose if the message I was trying to convey was "Vote Rick Santorum", then flaking and fading after only a few months would be quite appropriate. =) However the message I'm trying to get out there is a little more timeless.. read more

I've been using Graphicsland for my conference posters the past 3 years-- always reliable, prompt, and fair in terms of pricing. This year, I even had issues with my poster graphics, and they were able to insert them for me onto the poster when I couldn't figure out how to do it myself. So, if you're worried about some graphics not looking good, they proofread all the posters before printing and email you with any issues/ are willing to help you.
