The woman barking orders to me was truly unkind. The store was not busy, so no one waiting in line just a very rude and totally unkind employee. Graphicsland/makesigns.com provided the best poster printing experience I've ever had. I needed to…read moreprint a 36x60 poster, and the leading big box office supply stores and printing chains were quoting nearly twice the price as makesigns.com. If you order by noon CST, they'll have a proof to you ASAP and printed by COB. I appreciated the email status updates for online proofing, production, and order completion. Upon arrival, the staff greeted me, rolled out the poster for my review, and offered me silly putty and a t-shirt. I recommend using makesigns.com for poster printing, but I also recommend using the shipping option, if possible. I dislike paying for shipping, but trekking out to Tinley Park via CTA (25 minutes)+Pace (Over an hour)+foot (15 minutes) wasn't optimal in terms of time and physical exertion. Its more than worth the additional cost if you're a carless student in Chicago. Overall, excellent service and product and highly recommended!

I came in from out of town hoping to get a form Georgia form notarized and was met with a pretty…read morecondescending tone from who I believe was the owner and his wife. I was told they could not notarize the form because their notary commission was in Illinois and that I would need a Georgia notary. I later contacted another Illinois notary, sent her the exact same form, and she confirmed that she could notarize it without an issue. I understand that a notary can choose not to notarize a document if they are uncomfortable with it, but the way this was explained to me was very dismissive and made it seem as though an Illinois notary simply could not notarize an out-of-state document at all. The tone of the interaction was also unnecessarily condescending. I wanted to support a local Black-owned business, which is why I was hesitant to leave a negative review, but I also think customers deserve to be treated respectfully and given accurate information.

I…read morecame in from out of state for my friends' moms' funeral and took on the role of getting the obituary programs printed in 1 1/2 days. I sent an inquiry on Yelp and received a response, immediately. From the first phone call, Ayom was patient and, although, we already had a draft, it required a lot of edits and back and forth design input from him. We did not pay for design services but, Ayom caught typos, and made several suggestions to make the finished product better. He was very encouraging, collaborative and patient and he probably could have charged me more for the value that he provided. As if that was not enough, on the day of the service, we ran out of programs and I texted to see if I could order more copies and get them in 2 hours.....Ayom came through and offered to deliver them to the church or hotel. The product and service far exceeded everyone's expectations. The program is the star of the show at funerals and I needed the family to be happy with it. My friend could not stop thanking me for choosing the right printer who realized their vision of how to memorialize their mother. Please do not hesitate to hire this company if you need the design and/or print services that they provide.

I needed an obituary for a family members funeral, and my Project was done on time, and it was beautifully done. From my first phone call, to the completion of my project they were calming, assuring, and definitely know their business. Tom was very welcoming when i stopped by, and Jess not only designed my project, but made me feel like I was the most important customer in the world. I was unorganized, and totally unprepared; but that didn't affect Jess as she navigated through my confusion and developed a proof, and didn't stop until I was totally satisfied. Their quality, workmanship, and price should put even the most of discriminate customers at ease. Thank you for everything, I highly recommend anyone needing printing to check them out, they won't disappoint.
